She was so personable and professional, giving such attention to my needs and provided an in depth and much appreciated hair tutorial - my texture, best length and cut, what products work best for styling and care. I had no idea my hair was SO curly and could look so amazing. I was blown away with the level of service and care. Salon was huge, clean, friendly staff and offers a multitude of services. First off, I love that you can book online! That makes a lot of things easier, especially if the salon isn't open for you to call and book. I booked a haircut with Adabeth and she was just the sweetest soul with such great talent at cutting hair and giving you what you ask for. Prices are affordable for an hour cut and style. Abby has been my girl since the start. The amount of detail she puts into her work and the time she takes to really understand what works for you and what doesn't is something I want to hear from my stylist. I can go to her on my appointments and say "do whatever" and she will always make sure to take great care of me. My husband booked a facial and massage for my sister and I with Kara & Brooke. They made me us both feel so special and comfortable. My sister has never had a facial and she absolutely loved it. Today was my first time to visit After fax Spa and Salon. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the door. My stylist came right around the corner to greet me. She wasn't quite done with the first client but I was also early by 15min. So it was thoughtful that I was acknowledged and offered something to drink while I waited. I came to see Callie Ingram, I wanted a change but wasn't quite sure exactly what I wanted. She was very patient and very helpful on trying to help me decide what would be the best look for me & helping to feel comfortable with the choice to go darker with my hair. She was very helpful in her knowledge on letting me know what would require lots of up keep and what would be best for my busy schedule. I appreciate the honesty. Once we were ready to begin she offered me a another drink and made sure I didn't need anything before starting. Let me tell you she gives the BEST head massage when she shampoos your hair!!! Management issues-Watch for hidden fees on your receipt. Unexpected "scale fee" for the weight of your hair color. Shouldn't that be explained before hand or just roll it into the service. Also undisclosed fee to use a credit card. On top of the increasing service fees. Additionally you may be paying for a higher end stylist who is training a new cosmetologist which if I wanted to pay for a trainee I'd go to a cosmetology school salon. read more

I first encountered AfterFX Salon at the Tulsa Wedding Show. I was so excited to have met them, as their prices were extremely affordable and they seemed to be the perfect match for my bridal makeup. However, I have yet to be able to get in touch with anyone to book. I have attempted calling them twice, once being told that someone on the bridal side of the salon would get in touch with me. I have sent numerous emails and inquiries, and my MIL called and was also told that someone would be in touch. It has been over 3 weeks since the show and I have not heard back from anyone. Highly disappointed, as I was fully ready to give them my business. Now I would be too concerned to book with them in fear that I would be ghosted at my wedding. read more

I have been seeing Julie Groat at this salon for over 10 years. She is the queen of color and style! I highly recommend her whether you are male or female. She is the only one that could cut my son's hair and he wouldn't scream bloody murder :) The salon offers hair, nails, facials, waxing and massage. Everyone is always very nice! Lindsey Willis is a hair genius. My friends introduced me to her after I had a botched cut by another hair dresser somewhere else in town. Lindsey was able to take a bad cut and make it work. That was 2 years ago and she's been doing my hair ever since. Most recently my husband started seeing her. His hair is thinning and she has a knack for cutting his hair so it looks thicker/fuller. We both get regular compliments on our style and I know it is the talent and expertise of Lindsey that makes all the difference. read more

I have been going to After FX for almost 10 years and have always been a happy customer!!! Covering my gray hair had been a science project at best. Bailey was always up for the task and as new Redkin products became available she made that project easier as the years have gone by. I always look forward to my appointment! Bought a gift certificate for my wife for a pedicure. Was told she would get a leg and foot massage, she didn't. Also asked about her getting a chair massage, was told they don't do that. It is on their website for $15.00. Not a good visit. read more
