I have been using Lily at vision salon for years. She also has been taking care of my mothers hair for years. She is so good she listens to you she'll tell you if she doesn't think your idea is going to look good on you and give you other ideas. The other thing that's awesome about her is she has been helping me grow out my hair. Usually stylist want to cut it but she was the first one I had that said no will just take a little bit off and we can grow this hair out. She gave me tricks and techniques to help me, and now my hair is in the best condition of my life. She's very honest, and very reasonable I love the salon everybody that works here has been so kind and professional. All about money, very -concern to spend even a little more time with the client and don't care about your dissatisfaction. I made an appointment because I tried to bleach my hair myself and fried it! Brian came to the rescue and saved my hair! I wanted to dye it brown, but he told me that I am not a brunette, but a blonde and to keep my hair blonde. He didn't want to shock me with a totally different color, since it's been blonde most of my life. He also snipped off all of the dead hair and layered it It turned out really cute and feels so much better! I used to spend 20 minutes on my hair in the morning. Now, it only takes 5 minutes to style my hair. He also recommended I purchase a shampoo and conditioner that will help make my hair healthy. I am so happy with Brian. He has a great 'eye' and will be honest with what undertones etc. will work best with you and things like your complexion. Very nice place. All the ladies are super nice and friendly. The young lady who did my hair was a sweetheart. Very talented with the scissors. I'm a guy with curly hair, grows weird, in all directions. She figured it out and did a fantastic job. She did everything I asked (unlike the last barber who cut every curl off my head) and my hair look great. And she gives a great scalp massage. The ONLY time I went to my car and sobbed after a haircut. My bangs stick straight up and at this point I need to just wait it out till they grow back. Complete miscommunication between me and my stylist despite me showing a reference photo and clarifying I wanted my bangs a little longer before he cut it but he still proceeded to chop my bangs and left about an inch of hair. He then tried to make them choppy to fix his error but it made them even worse and at that point I just wanted to leave. Had to run to the store afterwards and stock pile on clips and headbands until my hair grows back. Absolutely devastated at how ugly I feel now. read more

I went to the salon last Tuesday for a color and cut. Jessica had done my hair previously and I was pleased with the results. (She left my bangs too long but I thought we could fix it next time). This time however I ended up with some orange roots, which is unbelievable. I had shown her a picture of the cut I wanted to achieve (If you have short hair and mess the cut up you are screwed.) needless to say not only is the color messed up, the cut is not even close to what I showed her it's totally messed up. I left the salon after 3.5 hrs fuming. Shannon contacted me shortly after I left and wanted me to come back. I said 3.5 hrs is enough I'm not coming back today. She said I'll call you on Tuesday and you can come in and see if we can't make it better. Guess what? Tuesday has come and gone no call Update Shannon contacted me and I want to say she went above and beyond to try to repair what was done. She did a great job. May 2019 UPDATE Appt with Lilly: Had highlights and low lights, she told me that I couldn't have blonde in my hair, I showed her a pic "she said that lady has been coming here for along time" meaning its a process over time! Ummmm, this should have been my que to leave bc I've had blonde most of my life, actually my hair is naturally a dirty blonde, about 2 months ago ( I told here 1.5 months ago) I dyed it a brown. But it has seriously faded by now, and I know that's enough time to go between colors, if you're an experienced stylist with color. Obviously Lilly is not, however I was charged $160 after a 10% Yelp discount and for short hair. WTH! That is what I paid when I went to my stylist who I had for 10 years that was VERY good and has about 15-18 years experience. Not only that she got hair color on my skin around my face. And it took her nearly 3.5 hours unhappy with Lilly's work and was a total ripe off. Previous review: I was nervous to try someone new after being with one stylist for 10 years. I first sent a message thru Yelp asking if they had an opening, they responded within 10 min with their open times for the same day. I then dropped by, since I was in the area, to visit face to face, ask a few questions and easy my worries. As I walked in, I was greeted right away and they addressed my concerns and decided April would be a good fit for me. Let me just say, April is AWESOME.
