I recommend using the architect he normally works with to make sure the permit and inspection process go smoothly. You do need to find someone else to lay the decking part, unless you are going with an all-metal deck. We are thrilled with how it came out. His quote was much more reasonable than other deck fabricators. I've recommended him to many friends already.

I paid Farooq to install a new sidewalk and driveway for me in June of 2016. Without may knowledge he subcontracted it out to someone else. The cement was uneven and discolored. It had to be redone. After it was redone it was still discolored and uneven. When I complained Farooq painted the sidewalk and told me that he would redo it. It is now almost two years later and it is still not done. It is obvious that he has no intention of correcting the problem. I have filed a complaint with the Dept of Consumer Affairs and my next step is to start legal action. Lastly, he claims that he has no insurance and he wants to me sign a permit application that I am doing the work personally.
