The boss gave me his word (very sincerely) that he would fix the damage his workers did to an exterior wall during installation. But he ended up ghosting me. Of course I shouldn't have trusted him and should have withheld payment until the damage was fixed as he assured me it would be. So that's on me. But very tired of contractors who are simply not honest. If you are looking for attention to detail and someone who keeps his word, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Adriano Iron works is poor quality, inferior workmanship. We had a small stair railing outside in…read moreJune 2020, within 2 months the railing is rusting. Not only is the railing poor quality it was switched from the Aluminum railing we picked ( less issues rusting with age) to wrought iron. The welding is very poorly done, bumps all over. We paid extra for Adriano to paint the railing which we provided. Turns out they take shortcuts and do not Prime the railing which is part of the problem of rusting. When I sent multiple photo's and calls for this to be corrected he ignored all calls. I write honest reviews and would have hoped Adriano would have done the right thing. See Photo's after 2 months. My house seems to have been under construction with other renovations for months now, so hearing everything could be done in a day, has me pretty sold. However, when we got our consultation, Nick shared with us how the layout would be not only ergonomically friendly, but safe for our ever curious and crawling 11 month old. We were concerned specifically with a grated drain that is directly under our deck that infamously would get clogged with leaves and cause major rainwater back-up, and Nick created a seamless design that we could get to the drain to clean it occasionally without crawling under the deck anymore! What a relief! The overall installation is clean and meticulously done. They did great work before, and I was very satisfied then, but this time I didn't choose them. I read some recent negative reviews online, and their salesman didn't always get back to me in a timely manner about my quotes and answering my questions. I also asked if his company could repair a gate that needed to be rehung. He told me "No, my company doesn't do repairs. We replace." Well, that was not an answer I wanted to hear. So, I then went and got my second estimate, which was from Design Fencing. Their original quote for my project from Design Fencing was several hundreds of dollars higher, but Michael, their salesman, worked with me on lowering the price to my satisfaction. Michael also told me that his company would be willing to rehang the gate that I wanted to be fixed. Michael was very persistent asking if I had questions or concerns. He sent me frequent updates and texts asking if I had made my decision in choosing a fencing company. He didn't pressure me, but he was persistent in his communication, which greatly impressed me. He sent me a link to check out his company's positive reviews, and he also discussed with me his company's warranty policy. I decided to hire Design Fencing. I gave Michael a deposit of $540.00 to order supplies, and the balance was due after the job's completion. Michael told me that the fence would be put up three to six weeks later, which was fine with me. I paid by check since a credit card payment would incur a charge. The fence was put up within that time frame that we discussed. Joe, a middleman, worked with me on connecting with Anthony, his foreman. Today, Anthony arrived with two or three workers a little after 9 AM, and they were done with the project about 12:10. I was told it would take about three hours, and it did. Before they began, Anthony and I went over what was to be done and to make sure we were both on the same page. He then asked for access to an outdoor electrical outlet and to water to mix cement. The job was completed quickly and efficiently. Anthony and his crew cleaned up and took away an old gate that had been up before that was replaced with a new gate. Anthony was friendly and professional. His workers were also polite and pleasant. Even though Design Fencing's quote was still higher than my first estimate from my previously used company, I decided to go with Design Fencing for their great reviews, warranty, and their great communication with me. I figured the extra money spent was worth it. So, assuming my fence will be sturdy and last for years to come, I greatly recommend Design Fencing!

Scott & Jeff were able to provide advise & suggestions on where to place lights,(both recessed, pendant & under cabinet) the saddles between rooms and the daily assurance that things were right on schedule. Carlos & Elvis were the team that put the kitchen together from the tear down(floors, soffit, walls & ceiling) to the wallboard, taping, cabinet and crown molding installation. At the end of each day, a thorough clean up took place and the plastic dust covers that had been disturbed were repositioned for the work to be done the following day. Will only consider Troost for our next project!

Scot oversaw the project and made sure that every detail of the project was finished to perfection.
