They had fancy equipment, got all the shots, and encouraged guests to do the video guestbook. Very professional. I can't imagine too much they could have done better, it was all so well done. Also Kyle's response time to emails was almost instant, even on weekends and odd hours. I probably asked him the same questions a few times. I had very little help and was a DIY bride so I was super overwhelmed, and it meant SO MUCH to be able to cross things off my to do list so quickly. HUGE! (Even after the wedding and paid in total, he still had amazing response time). Since it doesn't happen very often, it's naturally very important to us to capture the memories of the event! Alan was amazingly wonderful and completely dependable...both during the shooting as well as with the editing. Plus before the party he edited the video from our 2005 Decade Party so we could play a short version of it at this one and he led me patiently through the editing process. He worked along with our DJ to handle some of the projection challenges (Skyping a relative) before the event. He was always very easy to contact and answered all my questions. During the party, he got all the important parts of it and was very inconspicuous with his camera. But where Alan really impressed me was after the party when I was trying to edit the raw footage and get it all ready to give to people at Christmas. I had a very tight deadline, but Alan came through beautifully and made it happen...and he inserted 10 custom titles that I had made specifically for the video! I was simply amazed at how patient he was, and he even dropped the finished DVDs off at my place to save me time. But even with all this custom work I thought his charges were very reasonable.
