I deserve this. Sorry, had to start with that affirmation because these past 2 massages with Cindy (a whole year apart) have felt so luxurious, I couldn't believe I get to have them. Does this make sense? Like, don't only rich people come out and get these massages? Haha. This review is for all my broke folks who take themselves to the local foot spa that can be hit and miss, in between work hours and picking up kids, and sometimes get the relief they're looking for and sometimes not. This is for my people who know they deserve so much more-- like massages from Cindy. I was referred to her by a friend who lives in Gilroy. I live in San Jose (part of the reason why I don't make it down here as Morgan Hill is a bit of a drive). But this 2nd massage completely convinced me I am missing out on life if I'm not here on a more regular basis (even every 3 months rather than twice a year, lol). So I get the 80 min deep tissue Swedish massage with Cindy. Seeing her this 2nd time, she pulled out her notes and recalled my neck and back pain from a car accident, checked in with how I'm feeling, talked with me through her approach for the day where she would focus on some areas fora good time while making sure to provide full body care. She asked if there was anything else she could do to help me feel at ease and I replied, "your magic is already magic." Her massage table was gently heated beneath the sheets. She offered to increase the heat if I liked, which I agreed to. Helped so much with relaxing my muscles. Her technique is superb. She remembered that while I came in for "deep tissue" massage, I prefer light to medium pressure. Her hands can read where the aches and knots are, and I even become aware of them only at the moment she touches them! Warm. Velvet. Gentle. Firm. Forgiving. Home. That's what her massages feel like. I definitely deserve this. The vibe: thoughtfully themed with butterflies, which personally feels like I'm surrounded by my ancestors. The "tree of life" framed on the wall helps root me. The ambient music she plays calms my nervous system. I wanted to hide this as a secret, but I want the best for her because she always gives me her best. I really appreciate her. read more

I was given a gift certificate to Agape by our daughters and their families for Mother's Day. It was my birthday, and I decided I wanted to do something for "me". So I made an appointment at Agape for a 55 minute Swedish Massage. I booked the massage with Brandi. I didn't know what to expect as I have never been to Agape. It was marvelous. Brandi was great! The experience was so soothing and relaxing. I didn't want the experience to end. So, I'm going to book another massage here in the very near future. I wouldn't have written this review as I did have a decent experience with Jasmine in December. However, after my experience with Cindy the owner it's a totally different story. She is very egotistical and will not acknowledge any fault. As mentioned in December I went in for a full body massage and was happy with the service. On my way out there were some flyers on the counter advertising for "Spa Days", I had already asked Jasmine if they did couples massages which she confirmed they did. So, I had a 10 to 15 min conversation with her on how I wanted to book a couples massage and facial (basically the spa day they were advertising) for me and my bf. She told me they were booked and especially since they need to coordinate the massage with the facial that it would be a ways out and I was ok with that. She booked me and I left. The day before my appointment I get a confirmation text for the massage but no mention of facial so I call to double check and Brandi tells me that they only have me down for a couples massage and that she would have the owner call me back. I did not get a call, but I got an email later that afternoon from Cindy stating that I had "Requested" and been booked only a couples massage and gave me an option to push the spa day back to April or May or to just keep the massages. I was not happy about that but did reply letting her know that I did not "request" this appointment and that it was booked in person but I also did not want to push it out so I would keep the appointment. Most businesses at this point would at least apologize but instead she replies with "All I see is a couples a massage, and that we don't even have estheticians on Sundays and that we were not on the same communication length with literally 5 question marks. At this point I am irritated as I did not even get the slightest apology, so I ask about the fees as I only knew the fees about the special spa day (still had the flyer given to me). So she replies with the fees but start condescending me about how I thought the spa day fee was different then it really was, basically trying to prove her point that I was in the wrong. And also throws in there that she has many customers on the waitlist that can take that spot. Basically, I am not a customer? Still very annoyed at this point and replied back letting her know that a simple apology would be appreciated instead of just blaming your customer, I even sent her a copy of the flyer given to me with the fees that I had mentioned to her. She still does not apologize but now offers to add the facial and shorten the massage (thought they didn't have an esthetician on Sundays?). Also states that if she or her staff had made that mistake she would have apologized and that she is sorry that "I am upset" and continued to talk to me in a condescending way. She was not present when I made that appointment she cannot say %100 that her staff did not make a mistake, mistakes happen and I understand, but not having any accountability at all? I will never be going back there, if you wish to go let's just hope they don't mess up your appointments because you will get blamed for everything, did not expect that from the OWNER. In response to the owner: I did ask and book for the spa day 3months in advance, they booked it incorrectly, I did not "change my mind". She was the one berating me all day with her emails, I decided not to go due to all the belittling emails and I informed her of that. Not one apology for there mistake. The spa day was not offered until after 8pm the night before and all her rude emails. Her response proves her egotistical personality. read more

I have been seeing Jasmine @ Agape Day Spa for the past four months after my original massage with the owner Cindy. Everyone of my sessions have been very helpful in working out kinks and knots as well as improving my flexibility which is extremely important to me as I get older. This place is a hidden gem! I've lived in Morgan Hill my entire life and had no idea this spa was there, but I'm so glad I found it! My boyfriend and I get couples massages from time to time, but we've never found that *wow* place. THIS is that place! Right as we walked in, we were greeted by Sarah and Cynthia, who ended up being our massage therapists. They were both extremely warm and welcoming from the get-go and made us feel so comfortable. They took us back into the couples room promptly and asked us both a few questions to customize our massages, and they were fabulous! My boyfriend said he felt that Sarah was very attentive to exactly where he said his sore/tightness was and really worked on it. I didn't have very specific requests for Cynthia, but I did ask her to work more on my upper body as my shoulders and back were sore - and she did just that. She worked knots out of my shoulders I didn't even know I had. We left feeling extremely relaxed and would definitely recommend Agape Day Spa to everyone! :) read more

Jasmine is the best! She really is. I've had multiple prenatal massages from her mostly during third trimester, all the way until 38weeks. She has been so sweet, kind and compassionate. I go to agape day spa for waxing and see Cheryl. Let me start by saying she is absolutely wonderful (she deserves 5 stars), this review is specifically for the business. Since I've been coming here my appointments have been canceled multiple times due to her being sick, which is totally understandable. My issue is they never reach out to me to reschedule my appointment or even try to reschedule it when they reach out to cancel it. This is extremely upsetting because Cheryl is usually booked and it's hard to get an appointment with her. I'm a loyal customer and come in every month. I really don't want to go anywhere else but it's becoming beyond frustrating to have to deal with this. read more

I'm so happy that Agape is open again! I've been going to Cheryl for almost a year, since we moved up to M.H. from San Diego, and I could not be happier. The salon is very clean, and they practice all Covid protocols. It's a very professionally run business. I have problem skin (rosacea,etc.) and Cheryl knows exactly how to care for it. I've never had facials like those given by her. My face always feels and looks so good every time I leave. She gives me both sensitive skin facials and PCA peels. I purchased my son a gift certificate from the owner, Cindy, for a Sports Massage. My son plays high school varsity sports and had been concerned about his performance and felt that maybe he needed some work done to stretch his body. At one point he thought maybe he needed to see a doctor or a chiropractor. Before trying those drastic measures, we scheduled an appointment with Cindy. The feedback he gave me was fabulous and I felt compelled to share with others, especially mothers with children who play sports. This was his first ever massage and it turned out to be exactly what he needed. He said Cindy was very knowledgeable and asked all the right questions which allowed her to perform the type of massage he needed, massaging certain muscles he used during his sports activities which apparently REALLY needed to be worked on! After the massage, he was able to perform at a higher level with basketball and we both felt confident it was due to her sports massage. Very satisfied customers! I choose the Swedish massage and it was wonderful. I can honestly say I felt more relaxed and lighter then I had before. All my senses were massaged as well. From the warmth of the table to the luxurious feel of the linens, the quite tranquil sounds of nature to the perfect amount of pressure that Sarah applied. Sarah was knowledgeable, respectful and helpful. Before Saturday I was afraid to be massaged due to some health issues, but after talking to Sarah and Cindy, they came up with a perfect solution to my achy muscles.
