So comparing a 14 yo a 4 yo and saying a 4 yo could handle the drilling on teeth without novocaine and the 4 yo wouldn't complain is a jerk move. You absolutely added to her dental phobia Note to dentist not the kid is complaining of tooth pain drilling on the tooth IS GOING TO HURT. And the thing with saying 'let's try again and if it hurts we will stop'... NEVER Going to work. It's going to hurt so don't even try. Note to the hygienist. They wonderfully made a next day appointment for me to temporarily fix my ill fitting dentures and get a treatment plan underway. The online questionnaire and paperwork make the whole process so nice. Almost no wait at all! They take my insurance and were able to give me a pretty close estimate of what I would pay out of pocket in each phase of the treatment. I am SO happy!!! And my mouth is not in pain!! I called Dr. Nichols office yesterday as a new patient asking for an appointment for a checkup & cleaning & most importantly to have a broken tooth that was causing me some pain assessed. Dr. Nichols carved out some time to see me for a same-day checkup & most importantly to me, to take a look at my sore tooth before it turned into an abscessed tooth/huge toothache. I am now on my way to getting my broken tooth problem resolved & have a full treatment plan for other work that needs to be done. I am a 100% Disabled Navy Veteran and I was having work done by Agape and went in for my next apt. and was told they will not be helping the Veterans of Kitsap County any more because the paper work to be paid is to hard and takes time to fill out so now the Veterans of Kitsap County have no dentist and have to go to Seattle or American Lake which takes a lot of time aNd having a dentist in Kitsap county was easer .. I did not feel a thing and during the procedure, he kept asking to make sure I was feeling comfortable. The staff was very nice, supportive, and made me feel a part of their family. I had a not so pleasant experience at a Kitsap Dental Clinic so I searched online for a good Dentist. I found Agape Dental Care and decided to make an appointment. I needed to have a tooth extracted or crowned. Dr. Nichols fees are a very good value, as I had no insurance. The office manager, Breanna, greeted me at the front desk. She is pleasant and professional. My x-rays were taken by Christine, who is caring, efficient, and professional. Dominiquea is Dr. Nichols Assistant. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and caring. Dr. Nichols made me feel confident by using state of the art instruments, being efficient, and caring. His treatment room is clean and relaxing. I now have a new crown and Heartily recommend Dr. Nichols and His Staff. read more

This is the best dental office iv been to so far. I gave it a five because the front office lady's greeted me and treated me so kindly. The also explain every thing to me with out making me feel stupid. I give the front a 5 star. The back office gets a awesome five star too. Alicia and amber are the assistants and not only are they both professional but hilarious too. Dr. Nichols seems a little shy but caring he made me feel like my opinion matters and ask me what I would like. We talked about different options for my treatment plan he spent his time with me answering all my questions. Iv never had a dentist ask me what I want they just tell me what I have to have. Also Dr. Nichols has this really cool tool for crowns. Itero 3d scanner, makes the process for crowns fun and cool. I also can't believe the specials that they have for crowns and implants. I've been having my teeth cleaned for over 30 years and today's cleaning experience by Jessica, the new dental hygienist, was the least painful, least white-knuckle, most thorough and quick experience I have ever had. Went in for an exam and cleaning and had to bring asking my two young kids they were amazing about it. Monica the receptionist let them watch cartoons on the computer behind her desk and even when they came down a couple times to see what I was up to everyone was really nice and kind about then being there. I have been to many dentists in my lifetime, mostly it has been a traumatic experience! I'm a missionary and out of the country for years at a time in places where dental care is non- existent. I recently had a tooth break off, and needed dental care while here in the US. I was passing by Agape dental and decided to ask for prices to get an exam, and an estimate for all th work my teeth need. Dr. Nichols was efficient and honest! As well as affordable. I had to have an upper denture and a lower partial. This was the first time I have ever had so much work done so quickly and even the Novocain was minimal discomfort. Dr. Nichols was in and out quickly......removing 8 teeth! Afterwards, my healing was swift,and there was almost no bleeding! I never even needed to take anything for pain. Dr. Nichols is highly skilled, and has a gift for the work he does. His staff is amazing, and compassionate to the clients. I highly recommend this dentist to everyone!
