I brought mine in and the owner accused me of washing it wrong - I showed her it never had been washed and then she said it was very dirty and I did something to it... yeah it's 95 degrees and I wore it in the city for a day sweating... I didn't have my husbands as he is traveling (he just wore it as a pajama top) but since I didn't have it - I just asked to exchange mine...the owner was awful. Blamed me. I had even purchased other things 6 months prior as gifts and I'm always polite. My request to exchange one out of 2 was beyond reasonable and now I will call my bank and reverse the entire charge and she will get zero instead. I would have to have both shirts completely remade if I ever wanted to wear them so I don't feel bad one bit. Especially with her being so awful and angry saying it's all my fault.

Behind a protective glass wall, you can watch as they heat things up in the furnace. In the back is a gift shop full of various vases, sculptures and cups they have made for sale. WOW! My first time ever seeing handmade glass blown live, and damn was it an incredible…read moreexperience!!! These glassblowers are so friggin' talented! I wouldn't dare even attempt to blow glass because Lord knows that I would end up burnt to a crisp. But, these guys are perfecters of their craft. We stopped here on our tour to check out the handmade glass items and to see the live glassblowing demonstrations. The glassblowers heat the glass up in a furnace to as high as 2,400 degrees Fahrenheit! At this point, the glass appears to be a bright orange and looks as if it's almost on fire (which it essentially is). They let it cool down to between 1,800-2,000F which is considered a "workable" temperature. They then began rolling, molding, and cutting pieces of the glass and added other molten glass to the pieces as needed. When we arrived, they were creating a drunken Mexican turtle! The cutest thing EVER! The turtle had on a hat and was drinking a corona. Classic, right?! We watched as the glassblowers took us through each step. Our tour guide was really helpful in explaining the process of what was going on and it made it easy for us to follow along. There's a glass shop in the room right next to the factory that has all kinds of colorful blown glass for sale! It's so much cheaper to buy the glass here versus in the stores nearby. Plus, you get to watch them make it from scratch! They also make custom glass orders here. It's a win-win situation for sure! I'm stoked that I got to see the glass being made live! This was one of the highlights of my Los Cabos trip! Totally worth a visit while in Los Cabos!
