I did a ton of research and this place is an authentic La Casa Del Habano (LCDH) for Cuban cigars. Upon arrival, I met an employee named Juan Carlos, who was incredible. He was very knowledgeable and helped guide me through my first Cuban cigar purchases. I knew which ones I was 100% going to try and asked for advice on medium cigars. The humidor was excellent and well kept. Juan Carlos grabbed a box and helped me load it up! I purchased 8 cigars the first day and an additional 4 the next day. Are they expensive? Yes. This is not the place to go to if you don't appreciate or understand Cuban cigars. I smoked 6 of them in Cabo and an additional 2 while being home. INCREDIBLE smokes. I wish I purchased more and visited more often. Out of the 12 Cuban cigars I purchased, I spent $331, an average of $27/ cigar. 100% worth it and I would do it again yesterday. If you enjoy premier cigars (like 94-98 rated cigars), the Cuban cigars will blow your mind. Smooth, no burn, incredible flavors and worth it. read more

Was YELPing for a legit cigar shop in Mexico to avoid the street vendors, most likely counterfeit stoges. J&J had very good reviews. Easy to find and convenient to the (cruise terminal) marina. The mojitos claim to be "world's best," and Im always a sucker for that so we ordered one. Big, fairly priced $12 and absolutely delicious. Well balanced, not too sweet, refreshing and of course loaded with muddled mint. 5 Star Juan Carlos helped me navigate the cigar room. Im not a big cigar guy in size or frequency so I definitely needed advice. I told him my price range and he suggested about ten from a variety of makers. My price range was $25 and that's almost were Cubans begin, even for the very small ones. I needed some for less as well for less special occasions or friends without discerning taste. He had a 5 pack with $10ea option. I also wanted to splurge and Cohiba & Macanudo started at $50 per, so i got a few of those. We enjoyed the mojito next door in the cool lounge and played some cards. I took one last peek at cigars before leaving and asked How much do the cigars go up to in proce? JC, showed me the hidden stash that started at $500 and went to nearly $1K!!! I thoroughly enjoyed my little Cuban Cohiba on the boat for about 40 minutes. Great Shop. This is one of VERY FEW cigar shops in Mexico that sells authentic Cubans. They are on the Habamos S..A list of approved sellers. The proprietor is vey knowledgeable and can guide you to the right choices. Warning: Cuban cigar prices are set by the Cuban government. Everyone has to sell at the Hong Kong price. In Asia, specifically China, they are madly obsessed with Cuban cigars, and they will order boxes without concern for the cost. The Chinese cigar smokers have changed the market forever, and it is only going to continue to inflate the prices. So, as much as some of y'all want to complain that J&J is ripping you off, they are not. This is a very desirable product for rich peeps, and that means the middle-class folk are completely out of the picture now. With that out of the way, on to the experience. First time we visited this place. During this visit we visiting here three times. Very clean establish. They a bathroom and WiFi. Nice staff helpful in selecting a cigar, always hesitate to pick up cigars from a non-cigar shop. The staff was also very forward about conversion rate. They advertise the worlds greatest Mojito. It is pretty unique, the mojito doesn't have simple syrup, but has fresh ginger and mint. Very good flavor. Also ordered the flavored daiquiri (I believe strawberry) which was very tasty. J&J is such an awesome place, one where we always return whenever we are in Cabo San Lucas. If you are a cigar smoker, this is definitely worth your time. Their walk-in humidifier has lots of options at reasonable prices including very high quality Cuban cigars. The gigantic mojitos are just as good as they say, but watch out for the "tourist surprise." Be sure to ask the price before you commit to ordering since no bar prices are posted. I've never had the rip-off vibe from this place but it's always better to protect yourself by asking first. My husband loves the cigars and drinks here and I stop in for the coffee! They serve delicious Illy espresso and it's good and strong. Note that patrons are allowed to smoke cigars inside so it can get really smoky. First time I came here had a mojito and a Cuban cigar and I was hooked. I came back a year later and the quality hasn't changed a bit. The place serves up one of the best mojitos in Cabo or the U.S. for that matter! They use Havana rum which makes a huge difference. The ration of rum, mint, sugar, club soda make these beauties easy to down and you can get a nice buzz going if you have a cigar to go along with your frosty beverage. The owner used to own Hemmingway's but reopened J&J at their current location. They have a walk in humidor where you can choose your perfect cigar. Yes, they have authentic Cubans. If you're in the mood for tequila, they sell tequila and they will allow you to sample some. You can sit and lounge on one of their leather seats or sit on the bench outside. Note: if you want to grab a bottle of Havana Rum or even a bottle of tequila, you can save a few bucks at the Duty Free at the airport. I will definitely be back to J&J for sure!! read more
