She is very thorough in my care and genuinely cares for me staying healthy and be the best me I can be! Under her supervision my cholesterol levels/ high blood pressure have come down, my ear and ankle infections have healed completely. And under Dr Ramos and the weight loss program there I have gone from 289 lbs to 220 in a safe period of a year and a half. I feel so much better and have a lot more energy! Just 28 more pounds to go to hit our personal target I have found my forever Doctor! My Insurance company Humana which I was satisfied with told me they no longer have them in the hmo network so I have changed insurance companies to insure I stay whith Dr. Ramos and Mt West family health center! I have done the weight watchers program with great success before and was excited to try again at…read morethis location. Well they did not make it easy at all. I called to get their rates (as there is a $42 monthly rate that you can buy online). They told me the rate was 13 a week plus a 30 sign up fee. The 42 included weekly meetings and online tools and it was a full month so hands down the better deal. The woman on the phone said I could come in and purchase the monthly pass at the meeting, I ask about the next meeting time and off i went. So I drive all the way down there only to be told that they would take my payment but I would have to go home print something out and then come back, I.e. no meeting for you today. They make things difficult deliberately and I just walked out. It seems as though the local franchise is not on board with the website technology at all. The demographic here is also older for sure so be aware of that ahead of time if you are under 50/60.
