I have been going to Ageless Medical for a little over 3 years and absolutely love it. I have done laser hair removal, Hydra-facials and Dermaplaning with Dawn along with injectables and fillers with Sandy. I was so nervous when i first came, my pain threshold is very minimal and i am a big baby. I love going, and wish i could go more often. The girls are easy to work with, help with your anxiety and pain issues, even though there really aren't any. I have worked my way through my lips (fillers) and jawline (fillers) after some hefty weight loss. For me those were the worse, but i feel after having it done often, you just get used to it. Sandy uses needles and canulas (i personally prefer the canula). All i can say is if your thinking about doing it and making the jump, this is the place to be. 1, 2, 3 - that's the number of laser hair removal sessions I've had at Ageless Medical thus far. I think, as a result, I have finally formed an opinion and here it is in a nutshell. Laser hair removal hurts. Whoever tells you otherwise is lying or never experiences pain. A lot of people describe the process as a rubber band snapping back and forth and I'm not sure if I'd agree with that. If you've ever waxed, removing the hair happens in a swift motion and this continues to occur until they've cleared the entire area. The only painful part is the part of the actual pull when they grab the hair. Not the case for laser. With laser, removing the hair happens little by little, so you're there for an arbitrary amount of time, getting zapped, and even when you have a kind area without lots of hair, expect to smell burnt. The laser grabs ingrown hair, so that's the reason. That said, would I recommend laser hair removal? Absolutely! The results I've had have been amazing, and aside from the first session that included the consultation, I'm usually in and out in fifteen minutes. I had my consultation and first session with Lauren. Every session thereafter I've had with Dawn. Both are wonderful women who do their best to ensure to make the process as smooth and painless as possible for you. For the consultation, please be sure you want to go through with it. They'll have your credit card on file and charge you if you're a no show. That said, they offered me a package of 8 or pay as you go. Given that I'm constantly traveling, I chose the latter option. It's been working for me so far, and well, Dawn even educated me on the laser they use, so I can find it at other medical spas. Honestly so far I'm surviving. This isn't exactly something I look forward to doing, but I've committed and I'm pleased with the amount of time I no longer spend shaving one part of my body. I may in the future decide to do another section. As for price, I may not be the best to ask. They have deals and specials (even a Yelp check-in offer that they honor for new clients), but nevertheless this is a luxury I'm not sure everyone can afford. Waxing is way cheaper and I've been a waxing girl for years! read more
