He had a lot of information about various materials, and which colors and design were more likely to hold their value and be attractive to a buyer if I were to decide to resell at some point. He gave a reasonable bid and my wife and I accepted. From day one everything was very professional and clean. His team set up a construction zone with plastic and air scrubbers, to prevent the dust from migrating into the rest of the house. Drop clots on the carpets. Paper covering the hardwood floors. The job went smoothly. He was always gracious about the changes I requested and promptly brought me change orders to keep everything on record. Communication was excellent. He was always available and we were so pleased with the design options he and his wife suggested for the tile, LVP and paint colors. This is magazine quality work. We always proudly show guests when they come over. Now we just need to have him come redo the guest bathroom too. The last contractor did a subpar job and we are planning to redo it. Joshua is honest, meticulous in his attention to details, and always very easy to talk to. We hired a contractor and found a friend. I hired him to do work on several of my projects and assisted him in designing several projects of his own. I liked his attitude so much I was very hopefull and wanted to help him get up and running here in Idaho. I even loaned him money when he needed a new family vehicle. Come to find out that all of the photos he showed me were built by other pool contractors that he simply worked for. I learned a valuable lesson as everything he touched was done wrong. Horribly wrong. I have since spoken with other people that hired Jake to work on their pools and it was one horror story after another. I cannot speak to his skills pouring flatwork or kitchen tile but Jake has no business building swimming pools and the last thing we need here in Idaho is another underqualified swimming pool contractor.
