I saw that almost every review was 5 stars. There was one person who gave them a 1 star and I know after being in business for over 30 years there is always that one person. So I called ahead to see if there was anything special that I needed to bring with me. The lady on the phone was very helpful. She said that when I got to the location they would set me up. When I arrived it was busy. The young lady working there was working with one customer filling his tanks and another was just ahead of me. When it was my turn she walked me through what I would need (new adaptors so I could use my RV's current hook ups and regulator). She was very helpful and pleasant. She kept everyone in order and was on top of it. I told her that I pick this place because of the reviews and she said that she was proud of doing a good job. She also mentioned the negative review that was posted and said the guy never came to her location. He mentioned the receptionist as being rude and there is no receptionist on sight. Just her and the 2 awesome dogs in the office. Anyway I had an amazing first experience at Affordable Propane from the first call to getting my 2 tanks filled. The price was 1/2 of what I would hav3e paid at the other locations I called. So although the reviews were better I also came for the price as well. It was a win win and I will be back.

Their customer service at least TRIES very hard to help you but you can hear their own frustration in their voice toward their own company for not being able to help you. It appears either their delivery manager is not able to keep the orders straight or they need to build their fleet larger before taking on any new customers. I don't recommend this company if you are living in the Fort Collins area.

(The van's customization was done in Texas.) The owner himself came out to talk with me and talked me through his idea for a solution. They accused me of late pay, and said I would have to find another company and tank before issuing the credit. They provide diesel, and CLEAR fuel that contains NO ETHANOL. It is ran by Mother and Father, so it's a "Ma&Pa shop that has been in business since 1996.
