I reached out to AAA Propane to get the propane tank in my Sprinter van refilled. They took a look at the tank and the under-carriage mounting and said it was an illegal setup per Colorado law and they couldn't legally refill it for me. (The van's customization was done in Texas.) The owner himself came out to talk with me and talked me through his idea for a solution. He quoted me what I thought was a very reasonable price and they completed the work in a few hours. I placed an order with Tammy to have 4 100 pound propane tanks delivered to my R.V. which I'm living in while my house is being remodeled. I had a dangerous propane leak in my motorhome. Some places said that they didn't work on motorhomes. Rv places wanted me to drop it off for a day or so and would have charged a lot. We drove it right in to their shop and did an excellent repair right on the spot for a reasonable fee. Very friendly and accommodating. On May 18th 2020 I had to get my out of date 20 pound tank Re-certified and filled. I was worried how much the inspection and recertification would cost. Ha! These guys only charged me $5.00 to test it. The total cost of the cert and the fill was only $24.44. They were very nice also. I cannot speak highly enough of these guys. read more

This will be the easiest 5 star review ever written. My camper trailer has a propane regulator recall that is a serious safety issue. Of course you can't get anything fixed by the retail place that sold us the unit in anything less than a month. Fantastic family team. Brought my van in to have my onboard propane tank modified so I could run several output lines to bbqs and fire pits. Made an appointment. Not as simple as I thought. Going to AAA was the best decision we made this week. We've been trying to figure out the best way to hook up our Sprinter Van propane system for a few days now and these guys hooked us up. Not only did they give us everything we needed (hoses, regulators, connections, propane), they also gave us a TON of tips which we would never have gotten somewhere else. Alright. I cheated. I got sucked in by some of the coupons floating around to get some fills at rock bottom prices at some competitors. I did it and hated it. At these other places, the process goes like this: You go in to pay. You are told you need the tanks filled first before paying. Then they have to find the propane certified guy (who is invariably on lunch or helping another customer). You go wait outside by the tank for the propane guy to get done doing whatever he is doing. You stand there and wait for the fill get done. You then go back in and wait in line again to actually pay... Whole thing wastes a half hour on a weekend. Not so at AAA. At AAA, I park, I pull my empty tank out of my trunk, they immediately begin filling it, I go in and pay and my filled bottle or two is waiting by my car after as quickly as I can sign my receipt. Whole process takes less than 5 minutes. Service goes a long way and you get top notch service at AAA. read more

I went to AAA Propane to have a quick connect install on my travel trailer for a grill and fire pit. Tim did a great job of looking at my trailer and my appliances and explaining my options. It turned out what I thought could be done would have resulted in having to buy both a new grill and new fire pit. Every RV dealer I had contacted said I could do it on the low pressure side and I would be fine, as did all the do it yourself kits. Tim saved me having to replace my grill and fire pit with his simple explanation that no one else had mentioned. I ended up with the quick connect on the high pressure side. I also had four propane bottles filled while I was there and I am very happy with the price and the service. Even though they are 30 minutes from my house I think they are well worth the drive! Don't waste your time going to any other place for recreational, residential, or commercial propane needs. I looked at Home Depot, Lowe's, Ace, Camping World and on-line for fittings and adapters to upgrade my RV and no one understood or had what I needed except AAA! And not only did they immediately know what I wanted, they made the hose, fittings, and adapters right there custom for my RV - at a great price. I can't recommend these guys enough!!!! read more

don't be fooled by the "free refill" after 4 propane tank fills. I watched them fill 4 tanks before mine. They did not open the bleed valve. This was new for me and I didn't realize until I weighed my tank after coming home it reduced the fill by approximately 5lbs. They charged me for 20 lbs. Note, the maximum they filled was up to approximately 15 lbs. In my case it was less than that since I had approximately 2-2.5 lbs in the tank prior to their filling. This means more visits for refills and certainly no savings!!!!! read more
