I liked her, but I reserved final judgement until I found out if she would order annual lab tests ahead of my annual physical so we could go over the results at the physical. Both she and her office staff turned out to be capable of doing this (something I took for granted with my previous doctor of many years, but which some offices refuse to do.) She also checked on and rounded up records from colonoscopies and mammograms so she has a complete picture of my health. I had almost given up and decided my standards were ridiculously high and old fashioned. Not so. Dr. Vang and her staff are both competent and kind.

When I finally was seen, they took me to an office, not even in a room. This appt was required, in order to get refills on my meds. While I was there, I asked for some referrals, he said ok but didn't do them. Now suddenly, with no notice, I can't contact him or make appts through the portal. I called 8 or 9 times at all different hours, over the past several days to change a dosage on a medication, but it goes right to hold, and you can't even leave a message. Finally I drove up there, still on hold, there were 3 women sitting and chatting at the front desk. They told me they can't take "live phone calls" and do their computer work at the same time. Which is absolutely insane to me, all jobs require some level of multitasking. They said there was a new portal, but that they couldn't tell people about it until they asked. I asked how they could ask if they can't leave a message or email, or call. They said come up here. One girl rolled her eyes at me and was very rude. She then said she sent me an email to set me up on the portal, but guess what? No email. Now I guess I get to drive up there again??!? What in the world is going on.
