Common sense but just in case you get lost. Joann is absolutely amazing! We came in on a Saturday morning 2 people ahead of us, but upon sitting down 1 of them was already getting up and the other person was still waiting on information so she called us up. We explained the situation and she immediately got into her system and started working her magic. She's good at what she does, she's prompt, she worked hard helping us in trying to get our lost title back from another state. I mean we were on hold a few different times and got hung up on a few times as well, still she insisted on calling back and dealing with the automatic prompt (press 1 for this 2 for that) She didn't get irritated (as I would've) she had so much patience. Once we realized we couldn't do our out of state title transfer (due to our own personal hiccups) she still called someone from Arizona and got all the information needed and even printed out the application for us to fill out and mail in. Not only that, she actually walked us through the paperwork step by step to make sure it was filled in correctly and ready for us just to get a money order and put it in the mail afterwards. She also helped us with another vehicle in getting the title transferred, tags up to date and paid. She is really good at what she does, she's friendly & not to mention so funny! She goes above and beyond for her clients. She does anything from out of state titles, title transfers, vin verifications, notary, plates, tag transfers, name/address changes etc. Definitely saves you those long lines and wait times at the DMV. I will definitely be back for all my dmv needs and highly recommend Joann to everyone! You need something dmv related? She will take care of you.

This review is not for the building or security but for the records office where you can get your birth certificate. I went in and a lovely lady assisted me. She was polite and friendly, advised me of the process and so I completed it. After I took everything back up to her, she advised me it would be a quick wait and to have a seat. At the time, I was on disability due to a previous TORN MCL injury, so I could not stand long. Mind you, I even had a minor limp. I was told I could have a seat by the nice representative processing my request. As soon as a I sat down, some guy who was not even ASSISTING me that was behind the glass, told me I needed to stand up and wait for my turn? Despite me already being assisted but everyone else was sitting? Just because one had a child and another was elderly.... why couldn't I sit down? I felt this rep needs a refresher in disability rights and to learn how not to discriminate. Not ALL disabilities can be seen by the naked eye. I am not the type to argue especially in a government/city building so I stood up and when the lady noticed this, she quickly tried to process my request to get me in and out. After a few minutes, I sat back down because of the pain I was feeling in my knee. The man, however, needs an attitude check and a reminder by HR to leave your problems at the door when clocking in to work. If the process is to not sit (which doesn't make sense.... not everyone can stand for long periods to fill out forms oR at the computer) then you should be mindful of that. Have some signs up maybe if that's the policy !

This young woman named Jazmine helped me out and was super helpful with the process. Unfortunately because this was the 2nd time this vehicle was getting registered in California I was unable to finish here and had to go to the DMV per California rules. Nonetheless Jazmine continue to help me and was super helpful in coaching me in what I needed to do to finish the cars registration. I definitely recommend this location and if you get a chance. They are very biased and unprofessional when it comes to the decision making for children and it is so upsetting. I have on different occasions seen Alva show a little bit of favoritism towards certain families that I believe race played a huge factor in his decision making. I'm not even sure how Alva got in that department as a judge when he had no experience in family law prior to that. Thinking of them being in those positions is quite unnerving to say the least.

The area near the entrance is often occupied by individuals who appear to be spending extended periods there and there is sometimes a strong odor by the entrance that makes the space uncomfortable. On one occasion when I came to study, I was unable to find a table with an available charging port for my laptop because several outlets were being used continuously for charging phones. It would be helpful if the library could take steps to better manage these issues and ensure the space remains clean, welcoming and safe for families, students and all community members.
