Our dishes were well prepared and nicely presented: fresh burrata with tomatoes, a flavorful carbonara, rigatoni all'amatriciana, and a rich tiramisù to finish. Prices were definitely higher than what you'd typically pay in Rome, but considering the location and hotel setting, it felt reasonable enough. Service was friendly and efficient, which we appreciated after a tiring day. Breakfast the next morning was excellent--honestly the highlight. The pastries were extremely fresh, and the buffet even included fresh mozzarella, which you don't see often at hotel breakfasts. A great way to start the day before heading into the city. Overall, La Serra is a solid and reliable choice if you're staying at the hotel. Convenient, good food, and especially a great breakfast experience.

There was a nice sear and salt and pepper made for a simple but tasty crust. The steak could have been trimmed a bit better there was a good amount of fat that could have been trimmed.
