Decided to go organic due to my pets severe allergies. We( me and my pets) were happy with the lawn treatment eventhough it didnt look that great and we still had weeds. Allergies on my 3 dogs were gone so they were happy to be out on the yard chasing each other till it came time for the 5th lawn treatment ( paid for 7) where i caught the technician, who wasnt the same guy doing the lawn, dumping pesticide all over the yard ! Thank goodness i was there but too late to stop him. Come to find out the office screwed up,said one of the managers will call,3 names mentioned but no calls,no apologies, only the technician apologized. Also noticed brown spots showing up all around the yard,you would think this would be brought to my attention as to what can be done about it especially since they are the lawn professionals. Lush lawn paid you guys to do the lawn right so we dont have to ! Sorry, cant recommend you. Guess I have to go back to getting the hubby to do it now. read more

AVOID THEM IN ALL CASE!!! FYI ALL CALLS MADE TO THEM ARE RECORDED WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT.... I can't comment on how their service is, but when it comes to "TRICKING" you into making your customer over the phone, they sure ACE at that. Apparently without my consent or confirmation email, which I explicitly asked for before starting services. I was put on a list without those things. When called to clear the confusion, I was put in a hostile situation, where they said we have recording of you saying yes to becoming our customer. I don't deny saying that, BUT funny part is they only recorded the part where I said I would be happy to be a customer, and not the other part where I asked for an quote to be emailed to me and me calling them back next day to confirm if i want that services. I used Lush lawn in 2013. My lawn looked worse than before they started treatment. I only continued services as I has already pre-payed for the season. I did not choose to renew their services. They showed up and treated my lawn in April without my consent and sent me a bill. They have continued to harrass me for payment on a service I did not want or renew. Their Customer service is terrible. I tried dealing with this matter in a civil manner, Their failure to understand my point of not renewing has cause them to threaten me with collections. I have asked them to provide any document saying I authorized services. They could not. I would tell anyone looking for lawn care services to stay far, far away from this company. read more

Lush Lawn treated my yard in 2014 and the yard itself looked pretty good. Unfortunately, the customer service was pretty terrible. In an attempt to cancel my services, it took 4 phone calls (2 with the branch manager) before they finally realized the services were terminated. Afterwards, I received a call from a new staffer in spring 2015 trying to get my business back - can't blame them. I was informed that they fired 80% of their previous staff but they would assume no responsibility for the previous year's difficulties. An 80% staff reduction and nothing was wrong?? About a week after this initial call, and ensuring they knew I was a dissatisfied customer from the previous year, I received a phone call from a salesmen seeing if I'd be interested in Lush Lawn. I politely asked the gentlemen to check his records of my address. Needless to say, it was a short conversation. If you like green lawn (mosquito spray worked for us living in a swampy area), give them a try. If you don't want to be just another dollar sign, check out some other local options. read more

Lush Lawn serviced my yard in 2013. During that period, I was not happy with the appearance of my lawn. Whenever I called to point out various brown spots or thin patches, it seemed that whatever I needed to address the problem would cost me for an "extra" treatment. By that fall, my lawn looked terrible. When I was contacted in February of 2014, asking if I wanted an aeration, I notified the Lush Lawn caller that I would no long be using their services. Lo and behold, in April, they showed up for the first treatment of the season - the day after my new lawn service applied fertilizer. Their technician even pulled up the new companies signs and put theirs in. I immediately called Lush Lawn, and was told that since I didn't notify them in writing, even though I talked to their rep in February, I was responsible for the $43.25 cost. Since then, I have been receiving phone calls, e-mails and letters - sometimes weekly trying to collect this unfounded debt. My next steps are to contact the Michigan Attorney General's office, the BBB etc... Stay away from these folks... read more

WORST company I have had to deal with in years. I was asking several companies for quotes in early spring to fertilize my lawn. Lush Lawn thought this was a go ahead to start laying applications, which is wasn't. During the first application they laid, they hit and damaged my fence. I called them the same day and told them what had happened. They told me that they would repair my fence (which they did), stop the service, and credit my account since I had never hired them in the first place. It is now 3 months later and I am still receiving emails, phone calls and bills for this service. Lush Lawns has now changed their tune and told me they are not going to credit my account and that I owe the bill. They played me the original voice conversation between the salesman and I and it clearly stats I am asking him for information to review, not to start service. My recommendation is to stay away from this company. You will be happy you did. The only reason they got 1 star is because the system wont allow me to pick zero. read more

Have an extra $110 bucks to throw away? One of the easiest ways is to sign up for a Lush Lawn mosquito and insect application. We used their service for a year and a half and found the service absolutely worthless! Even if you have one or two applications, they will also sign you up for automatic renewal (for your convenience of course) for the next year and offer less yearly treatments for the same price as a way of gouging current customers. Expect to continue swatting away mosquitos less than 24 hours following the treatment. Then of course, you will be ignored when you do decide to cancel. My wife left a message in late May requesting to stop regular visits and again told them when she paid her bill in mid June. We asked the company to stop coming out without our prior request... they came out 24 to 48 hours later and applied despite our request to stop the service. They admitted at first that we asked for them not to come out without a request but backed off their admission and continued sending bills. They have now decided to go all in and send our "bill" to a collection agency despite numerous attempts to clear the issue. If you're into throwing away good money on a useless service and have that followed by extortion of your credit rating, by all means... sign up! If you prefer avoiding these thieves and gangsters you will find life much easier IMHO. read more

Lush Lawn did a spring aeration in 4/2013 on a home we had for sale. My husband lost his job & we moved to another state. We paid the bill in full. In the beginning of 2014 my husband received a phone call from Lush Lawn & he told them we no longer needed their service. We then received a bill in June 2014 stating that Lush Lawn did an aeration service on the property that we no longer owned. We sold the property & closed on 12/30/2013. Lush Lawn has a statement at the bottom of the bill that they send you that says "For your convenience, service continues from season to season. For a change in service, please call our office." I called the Lush Lawn office when I received this bill & they told me that we had an ongoing contract based on the statement they printed on the bottom of the bill. I told them I am not paying for a service on a property I no longer owned, especially because someone called prior to this service & my husband told the caller we no longer needed the service. We have received many phone calls from Lush Lawn attempting to collect this money from us. They recently sent this to a collection agency. I received a very rude phone call from the collection agency threatening to report this bill? I told them this story & they said they sent me a letter. I never received the letter because they sent it to the property I no longer own. Lush Lawn sent the bill to my current residence. Lush Lawn knows where I am & how to reach me but they gave the collection agency the address I no longer own or reside at?? read more

Did an OK job with treating my lawn. Still had some persistent weeds. Two weeks ago they did an aeration (I forgot they talked me into that this year) and broke my invisible fence. They claimed they ask every customer if they have a fence and won't do an aeration if they have one. They either never asked me or asked and never wrote it into my file. Now, I'm out $300 to have the fence replaced. Cancelled my service. read more

Had trouble in the past with Scotts price was too high for the type of service I was getting then my Neighbor told me about Lush Lawn and I been happier ever since, they do a good job and the price is way better. read more
