The restaurant is located in a small shopping center just a few miles from the tour meeting location and is inside of a former tourist excursion paddle boat (named the "Canyon King"). One cool thing that my wife and I noticed is that when we were sitting in the back of the "boat", we could see the engine of the boat below us. As soon as we walked in, we were promptly seated and were given our menus. After we placed our order, we received our food shortly thereafter and were blown away by how good everything was. My wife and I like to go to sushi restaurants in San Diego and really liked the California rolls and crunchy California rolls that we ordered. The edamame was a great appetizer and the drinks were also refreshing. The manager came to check on us and my wife and I found out that he is originally from Orange County, CA and was also the one who prepared the sushi for us. Super friendly guy! Major kudos to the staff at New York Teriyaki for an awesome meal and we look forward to returning the next time we are in the area!
