Three days ago, my wife and I arrived early at Antelope Slot Canyon Tours for a tour and wanted to grab a bite to eat first. We happened to see a brochure for New York Teriyaki and decided to check them out and we are super happy that we did. The restaurant is located in a small shopping center just a few miles from the tour meeting location and is inside of a former tourist excursion paddle boat (named the "Canyon King"). One cool thing that my wife and I noticed is that when we were sitting in the back of the "boat", we could see the engine of the boat below us. As soon as we walked in, we were promptly seated and were given our menus. After we placed our order, we received our food shortly thereafter and were blown away by how good everything was. My wife and I like to go to sushi restaurants in San Diego and really liked the California rolls and crunchy California rolls that we ordered. The edamame was a great appetizer and the drinks were also refreshing. The manager came to check on us and my wife and I found out that he is originally from Orange County, CA and was also the one who prepared the sushi for us. Super friendly guy! Major kudos to the staff at New York Teriyaki for an awesome meal and we look forward to returning the next time we are in the area! read more

I was a little disappointed in the beginning when the guy didn't handle the waiting guests properly and other people who arrived late were given a priority than me and he was managing the check-in using pen and paper which was okay but not efficiently. Anyway, the female staff member was nice to me and helped me with my needs. I think she was serving almost all the tables and everyone was happy with her service. I tried the Teriyaki Chicken dish since I was doing a lot of hike in Utah region and needed good protein. It was good. I will definitely visit again because of the same female staff members. The ambience is good but they should handle the guests with a care is what I want to see improved. read more

Very average place, decent asian food given the area. The exterior of this place was cool. This place offers bento boxes and sushi. The bento boxes are the more worth item in my opinion. Such a cool place! Love the vibe plus bar-none some of the best sushi I've ever had! No joke. Frickin' fantastic. The Dynamite roll was to die for. The pieces were so large i thought for sure when I tried to bite it in half that it would make a terrible mess but the nori was so perfectly crisp and flaky that I bit right through no problem. And the flavor literally the best. Perfect amount of heat. We also had the seared salmon roll which was delicious albeit a bit onion-y from the massive amount of scallions. The only complaint was that despite being the only people there, it took quite a while for our server to come over to our table. So much so that we thought maybe we were supposed to order at the front even though he had directed us to the back to find a table. After that though service was prompt. On the way out of Page we were looking for some quick and delicious food without wanting to hit one of the fast food restaurants nearby. We settled on New York Teriyaki as one of the other close Asian restaurants was closed. First impression was that the restaurant was empty, but in fact it was packed in the back. The front room of the restaurant seemed to be pretty busy with boxes and other items strewn about. Our server was kind and offered prompt service and refills on water when needed. With a huge menu, it was hard to choose a dish. We had the Tofu Yakisoba and Chicken Teriyaki. The portion sizes were huge and came with white rice and a salad. The food was okay - noodles were decent but the chicken was questionable. Ordered two bento boxes- teriyaki and pepper chicken and both were really good. There are up charges to make a meal into a bento but we found it worth it to have the additional sides. Got lucky and was seated immediately (wasn't too busy) and ordered. It came out so quickly. Because it was all prepared earlier. The tempura vegetables were cold, yet delicious. The california rolls that goes with the bento lacks flavor, the salad was fresh but the sauce is bland for my taste. The veggie tempura was good but there was no sauce that came with it. I had the chicken teriyaki bento with a diet Coke on 9/19/25. It was the worst Japanese food I've ever had. The food was pre-made then reheated and served as if I wouldn't know it wasn't freshly prepared. I had to eat some because I was starving after a 2.5 hour drive from Zion. A person finally came around and asked how the food was after I had pushed my plate away. I told him. They charged me for the Coke. Not the meal. I didn't leave a tip. Like many other reviews have mentioned, this place is a little pricey for what you get. In my opinion, the upgrade to the bento is not worth it because the amount of the main dish you get is smaller than what you get on the plate. Also, I'd ask for the salad dressing on the side because mine was drenched. The atmosphere is very fun, though, since you're literally eating on an old river boat that's been converted into a restaurant. My kids thought that was pretty awesome. read more

I asked for extra noodles instead of the white rice....i got extra cold salad that was all mixed in the top of the hot dish. No rice or noodles. Not what I ordered. Parts of it tasted fishy. Think it was one of the vegetables but couldn't tell. It was SUPER DRY...no sauce in the container. No extra sauce in a container. Dry and flavorless. This place is expensive. It tasted kinda instant which is fine but for the cost (around $24 with tip and tax) - I wouldn't say it was worth it or worth coming back for. My friend got the bulgogi and she said it didn't taste like bulgogi but just like regular stir fry but the cost is like $30. Service - 3/5 - The service was fine. No water refills and the owner was walking around seeming like he was keeping an eye and was not that welcoming. Price/Value - 2/5 - For a ramen that tastes instant - the $24 price tag seems a bit steep. The broth did not taste rich and the pork tasted overcooked. Perhaps if you are really craving asian in this area....? I don't think I would come back. I did notice there are other asian restaurants in this area so if I were to come back to Page, I think I would try those out than come back here. read more

Perfect Our travels around national parks has included eating a lot of burgers. This food stop was specifically to get our granddaughter to eat something different. She likes Bento Boxes, so this place was perfect. Turned out NY Teriyaki was perfect for all of us. The food was delicious, the serving size large enough even for me. I had their Yakisoba with Pork, lots of delicious egg noodles, veggies, pork, a small iceberg lettuce salad, rice. I always enjoy using chopsticks. The Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box was also pretty big, our granddaughter loved it. Regarding the staff, it was apparent to me their job was to get you in, get you fed, and get you out and they did that efficiently, with a large dose of helpful friendliness along with a great deal of attentiveness.
