Having previously worked in an ENT and Allergy clinic, I was trained to always treat every patient with respect and kindness. I was never disrespected when I needed to obtain a referral from my doctor; I simply informed the staff that I would call my doctor to have it entered into the system. However, one of the front desk staff raised her voice and demanded that I "sign this now," as if I were a child, while I was on the phone with my doctor. I hope this isn't how she interacts with all patients. In my experience working in clinics, it's crucial to communicate with patients in a respectful manner. The front desk staff are often the first point of contact, and politeness and respect should be core values in any clinic. On a positive note, I found the doctors and staff in the back to be very welcoming and respectful.

Dr. Levy created a space where I felt comfortable asking questions and getting all the needed information. Her approach to treatment was collaborative, not dictatorial. She explained the various options available and discussed the pros and cons of each, making me feel like I was an active participant in my healthcare. Most importantly, she offered practical steps I could take to alleviate my symptoms right away, which was a welcome relief from the feeling of helplessness I had after the previous appointment. He was very thorough in asking questions about allergy history and timeline of allergic occurrences. Was non-judgmental in his speech and was knowledgeable about his field. He provided me with informational documents about dust mites and products that would be effective against dust mite allergy without trying to sell me anything. The only negative thing I could think of was that Dr. Menchell did take a longer time than I expected. Being thorough is good, but the process could have been much quicker. That being said, I would definitely recommend Dr. Menchell to anyone suffering from allergies!

He helped me diagnose my food allergies and has been a huge help with any question I've brought him, and he actually listens and remembers his patients. Dr. Charles is also exceptional in that he won't just jump to prescription medicines to fix symptoms; he wants to find the root problem and treat that, instead of symptoms. He will also recommend herbal remedies and dietary changes when he thinks that will work better than prescription drugs, which is rare for western doctors. I came here for an annual check up. I've had chronic issues with breathing. Dr. Lander also specializes in allergies, so I took the allergy test shots to see what I was allergic too. The process was long, but throughout the whole process Dr. Lander and his medical assistant were very kind and patient. If you're planning to take the test, I would day allot about an hour for all the testing and questions. I asked a bunch of questions and they were addressed. During my visit, there was another patient next door that appeared to have an episode of something and from what I could hear was vomiting. Although Dr. Lander was helping me and was abruptly interrupted by the very sick patient, he hurried to the next room to see what was wrong. The way he handled the situation and at the same time, letting me know he hasn't forgotten about me was handled really well. I would most definitely be coming back to Dr. Lander's office for future appointments. In addition, there is a small parking area that can accommodate up to 3 cars. I spedifically needed 2 prescriptions refilled. I asked her twice if she sent them and she said yes. Hours later, the pharmacist said they were not sent. I called and faxed the office numerous times and was told the prescriptions would be resent immediately. The WERE NOT RESENT. I was told 3x by the office that they sent a message to the Dr. & medical assist, and that she would call me and resend them. No call came and no prescriptions ever came. This is totally unacceptable, unprofessional, and frustrating having to call and call and get NO response. I was also told by the pharmacist that they left several messages for a prescription renewal too but no one ever got back to them. This is outrageous that they treat patents this way.

We didn't see Dr. Iffa on this visit but (Dr.) Mimi her assistant was a blessing. It's Dr. Sadique's office but I understand other specialist MDs practice here periodically. You'll have to call for days/times and to make an appointment I recommend this office. If you meet the lovely Mimi tell her I said "hey girl!". The End.
