The loan would have only been for a short period I would have paid it off in cash the first person I spoke to who approved the loan understood all of this unfortunately the next day upon receiving the documents which the person was fully aware of another person who could hardly speak English decided that she would override the original approval go to a supervisor and get a $5,000 loan taken away because my wife is out of work due to the accident and injury and demanded a third person to sign well needless to say I won't do any business with them anymore and I don't recommend anyone else too the person I was going to buy the car from is going to hold it for me I'm going to give him the cash I was going to put down on the loan and in a few weeks I'll have the rest of the money to pay it off in cash thereby saving me the hassle of dealing with this loan company and having to put extra insurance on the car so in reality landmark saved me money but as far as their services go only one person I'm not going to name her and put her in a position but she was an American citizen I can guarantee you that the other one I can't guarantee with as heavy a non-english accent had.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE IF THEY ARE THAT UPSIDE ABOUT $1,200 DOWN ON A $5,000 LOAN THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN PAID OFF IN A MATTER OF WEEKS AND THEY HAD THE INFORMATION TO PROVE THAT THEN THEY DON'T NEED CUSTOMERS REAL CUSTOMERS LET THEM GET CUSTOMERS THAT WILL SKIP OUT ON THEM AND NOT PAY THEM A DIME THEY BLEW IT WITH ME AND THEY WOULD HAVE HAD A GOOD CUSTOMER HERE..

I've liked this bank for quite a few years, but this spring, they've failed at perhaps their most…read morebasic function, and I'm looking for a new one. Our property taxes have to be paid with a paper check. I don't use those often, but PNC started charging - a couple dollars per check! - to print them, so instead I ordered an inexpensive box from Bradford - you know, just like we did for decades before everything was online. I made sure I had ample funds in my account and gave my check to the tax collector. PNC rejected it as "suspicious." I called them, and they looked at it, confirmed everything was filled out correctly, the numbers were correct, everything. What could possibly be suspicious about my paying property taxes on the address printed on my check, which is also my address of record with the bank? The fact that it's a check, and not one they sold me. I wanted an assurance that they'd honor my next check when I sent another one to the tax collector, and I asked them to cover the $30 fee I incurred because of it. I didn't ask for anything else. They promised to call me back, but never did. It's been weeks now, the deadline is approaching, and I can't reach anyone at my supposedly reputable bank to confirm they'll do something as simple as honor a valid check drawn on my account. I'm out a *lot* of time going back and forth with the tax collector, an extra $30 fine plus gas, and a lot of frustration and embarrassment. The tax collector says I'm far from the only one this has happened to. And PNC clearly doesn't care a bit.

Cross Valley Federal Credit Union - They said my autopay was on but the online banking site where I have to add my bank to make the payments says it is off.

The online banking said the autopay was off. I scheduled a payment and the next day they also automatically withdrew the money a second time. When I called to address this it was basically oh well, nothing we can do and I am forced to have the money put into a savings through their bank instead of the bank all of my bills are attached to. I have other bills that will now be delinquent because I have to wait until they are good and ready to give it back and then go through however many days it will take to transfer back to my banking account. This is the very beginning of our relationship with this institution and once this auto loan is paid off the relationship with this institution will be done. The right thing to do would have been to send the $400 to an account I could access so I could still pay my bills. Instead it's oh well, we screwed up and you get the consequence. We will do nothing else here.

After the first month, we were charged $1.00 and they called it an ATM fee. We didn't use a non cross valley ATM. So next month we didn't use the ATM at all and got charged a fee. When asked, we were told this is their monthly maintenance fee. Umm, no, we were told no fees. Please cancel the account. Apparently if you do so before 3 months, that is a $5 fee as well. None of this was told to us up front nor was it posted anywhere for transparency sake. This bank is greedy, seedy, and NOT a place your money will be safe. Avoid this institution of greed.
