Everyone for years had been telling me that DBT is the right type of therapy for me. I pushed back and refused. I stayed with the therapists I was used too. Josh was 'THE BEST' therapist. He taught me more than just DBT skills. He was was wonderful with his teaching skills. The way he interacted with each client. Giving them his full, undivided attention each time someone spoke. He was just unique in the way he taught the skills, and got people to open up and look inside themselves. Really look at their lives and how they can be happier and more fulfilled if they keep practicing theses skills everyday. No he said it would never be perfect, but happier and more fulfilled. The most amazing thing about Josh's counseling is that he lives with the same issues we do on a daily basis. He struggles, has good days, bad days, so, so days, but he taught me that I'm not the only one in this world struggling so hard everyday to keep on going.
