I'm only in town for a couple of weeks for a work trip. I came here for a pedicure and eyebrow/lip waxing. Toes and eyebrows look amazing! Excellent service and the family that runs the place are so sweet. I didn't get a manicure, but they helped me get some old acrylics off that I wasn't able to get off myself at home. Sometimes I wish Yelp would let you select half of a star. This would def be 2 1/2. I have definitely given up on trying to get my nails done down here. It's come down to me having to do them myself which, is "therapeutic" but boring as hell. Getting my nails done is "me time". So.. I walk in early in the am and there is one guest already getting their nails done. My nail tech was hella young. (Not that it matters, I got my cosmetology license at 18.. It's the experience or time and education under her belt was my concern.) Did she have her license? Mehdontknow. She was in workout gear and that's all she talked about was working out and going to the gym...like, the whole session. I try not to be too picky with my nails, tho I only get one solid color, no designs, no gems, no ombré chingada, nada. But I kept having to have her redo my nails, file these nails, buff out these nails more. They just weren't even, they were bubbling on the sides and the gel was not evenly distributed. I could sit there all day and have her redo and redo and soak off and file until I'm blue in the face but it's all about technique and with more time and more practice she'll do fine. They are great people, professional, and provide great quality work. Locally owned Mom & Pop shop with great rapport. I usually get the acrylic but I've been getting dip powder & my nails are remarkably better. They do a fantastic job on eye brows. Andy does the pedicures, I'm very ticklish & he somehow does pressure points for the scrubbing! SO good at clipping ingrown toenails too! Must go. Eyebrows: $10 Eyelashes: $30 for TWO WEEKS. My nail job was slightly below average. I went in because my heels have been really rough and I needed a good scrub and soak to help them out. Pros: -an awesome foot massage (the best part) -a great job trimming my cuticles Cons: -nail polish was left all over my feet -she didn't even touch my heels even though I asked her if she could hit them in particular -I felt extremely rushed during the entire process and like I was bothering her. Amazing I'm not one to get pedicures because I tend to squirm out of chair when they start to scrub my feet. He did se sort of pressure point on my foot and I actually enjoyed it for the 1st time a pedicure this man has a gift thank you so much enjoyed it very much.
