What a great find! I've been threading for years, usually in the kiosk's at the mall.. due to this I've had my fair share of terrible eyebrows. While Pin-up Spa & Boutique doesn't look like your typical spa, I was pleasantly surprised by how great my eyebrows turned out. You have to have an appointment because Casey isn't always at this location & she books up quickly.The lady who works at the register was super sweet as well, she was able to squeeze me in as a walk-in, I got very lucky. This is probably your only option for threading in this area, the prices are higher than I've paid in the past ($15 ) but Casey takes her time ensuring perfect brows. read more

This was my first time here and I had a great experience. I got a Brazilian wax with Dawna and she was awesome! I have been BW for over a decade and I'm from out of town so it was really hard for me to not just find a place but somewhere decent. I'm not big with mall nail or spa shops but this place is good. It's located in the Edgewater mall and where they are currently located they plan to move soon somewhere else in the mall. The service going in and checking out was great as well. Greeted with smiles and such great courtesy. If you're looking for a place for skin care and waxing for both men and women then this is the place. Already booked my next appointment with Dawna again as she was the best to have a conversation with and cares about my after care from waxing even though I've been doing this for over a decade. This review should have been written after my first visit to the Biloxi location for lip and brow threading. I had the ABSOLUTE BEST SERVICE from Casey Martin. Truly. Am just so thrilled we finally have a spa on the Coast that provides this awesome service. But that's not all. Casey Martin is just AMAZING. I felt welcomed, comfortable and entirely attended to throughout my whole treatment. I LOVED her -- and the services she professionally provided. What's more, and YES, there is STILL MORE to rave about, I got more compliments on my eyebrows that week than I imagined was possible. Ok so I got a Brazilian done here and maybe I have been spoiled by the Pretty Kitty in San Diego, but I did not enjoy my experience First off let me say that they both have different wax, which makes a HUGE difference. Definitely wish I could make this my usual place, but I had to move. I HAD to leave a review, though. Went twice, saw Logan both times, who is super nice, and definitely remembered things we talked about the second time she saw me, which means I know she was paying attention to me, not just gabbing. I got a Brazilian both times, they also offer bikini and bikini plus (called French I believe) sorta thing, if you don't want everything gone. Brazilian (either all gone or w/ landing strip) was $45, which I found extremely affordable and agreeable. They have a couple different kinds of waxes, one where you use strip of muslin to pull off or the kind where it peels off. The peel of kind was very agreeable with my skin, didn't leave me feeling raw or uncomfortable. I felt very comfortable in the salon, they were very professional. I was able to make very advanced appointment and they tried their best and squeezed me in for another The rest of the staff is super friendly, got into a half hour long conversation with one of the ladies while I was paying. Other ladies in the store front made sure to ask if I wanted a dressing room started, helped me find certain things. Prices for clothes can run a little high, but these ARE boutique items and prices. They have amazing sale racks, though, so don't be sad. I bought some jewelry and a skirt for $35. Styles range all over too. They always ask if you are military; they say they understand how many locals are military, and they try to cater to them as much as possible. Super sweet. :) Wish I didn't have to leave, I would definitely come here to get baseline pieces if I were starting a new closet. I had a Brazilian wax done by Casey. If any of you know what's involved for this type of waxing...it can be uncomfortable for some. Casey was phenomenal. Not only did I feel comfortable and at ease , but it was quick and done perfectly. Never once did the conversation falter. Which helped keep my mind off the waxing. This was my first and last time at any pin ups establishment. I got there at 2:40 pm and asked about eye brow threading. The lady at the desk told me it was by appointment only and hat she would check if any were available. Which was totally fair. However she then proceeded to engage in a 15 minute conversation about bachelorette parties and Brazilian waxes with a previous customer, all this while I waited. After the customer left, I figured maybe she would look it up now, well not really. At that moment another customer came up to pay and instead of looking up to see if there were any openings she proceeded to start talking with them. I had to interrupt that conversation to get her to do her job! It took her all of 5 seconds to tell me there were no openings which could have been done 20 mins earlier. So kudos! Let me give you some background on my threading needs for a good context. I have been getting threading done for my eyebrows, lip and chin for around 20 years now. I have sensitive skin with black (fairly coarse) hair that grows pretty quickly and I usually need to thread these areas twice a month. Also, between my time in India and US, I have had the opportunity to work with a large number of threading professionals (you can do the math if you like). I made an appointment with CASEY at Pin-Up Spa and Boutique (based on yelp reviews actually) on a visit to Biloxi and I had to write my first ever review on yelp! She is by far the BEST and most accomplished professional for threading that I have worked with over the last 20 years. She is detail-oriented, precise, highly skilled and her strokes are amazingly painless! (I do have a slightly higher threshold for pain with getting threading done so often but I do not remember flinching a momemnt especially when she threaded my lip).By the end I can also usually tell if I am going to have a bump or two based on how the strokes go and I was confident that my face would be perfectly clear and bump-free once Casey was done AND it was! I wish I could take her with me or get her to relocate! If you are considering threading, make the appointment with Casey and you will work with a professional who really knows, loves and understands the art of threading! (I am tempted to make a trip to Beloxi in future for threading and I think I will double that up with a facial as well from Casey). It is going to be well-worth it! read more

Terrible service and unprofessional! I was scheduled for an appointment (which I waited 3 weeks for) and the esthetician (the owner) did not show up to the appointment. Not only that, I was not informed until after I waited for 20 mins after the appointment time! And I was 15 minutes early for the appointment. I was asked to come back at a later time and I did. When I showed up for the new time, i was told that I would have to wait for an additional 40 minutes! Very disappointing. Very unprofessional. I used to recommend many people and I have been going for months! But I do not respect people that do not give customer service! Will not be returning and will never recommend! read more
