Horrible service, always 2hrs. Behind schedule, Dr Syed tried is only about trying to bill your insurance multiple times instead providing any kind of quality healthcare. My insurance told me my TB test and physical would be covered by insurance as a "combined" preventative procedure Dr. Syed came in checked my heart rate for 1 minute and left and told me to come back for another visit for my physical . So she could charge my insurance twice. My original appointment was set as a physical and they knew that coming in.. I called to inquire of an initial consultation. Can you believe that the receptionist wanted to charge $145 just to review the options.... I normally don't write negative reviews but Aim Medical Center has neglected time and time again. My grandmother who was 88 years old with Dementia, was denied by Dr. Syed of medical assistance. Aim medical center was supposed to send a nurse to evaluate my grandmother to receive medical supplies and the nurse never came. It took 3 weeks to get lab results and blood work back from Dr. Syed. It's been two months and as a result of the neglect, my grandmother has fallen and broken her hip because she was not able to receive the help she needed. I don't recommend Aim Medical Center as a place of care. This was the worst experience ever. I regret bringing my grandma here. read more

Terrible service the wait time is always 2-3 hours even with an appointment! And the prescriptions that they are suppose to call in doesn't get called in until the next day. Then the phone are off at 5 and the answering service is only for doctors checking to see what happened to the prescription? She has no personality she's in and out! I am appalled at the lack of continuity of care and empathy. I have COPD and a neurological disorder, ruptured disc and more. My life is a constant battle just to remain somewhat mobile and tolerate the Intense pain I am in constantly in. I take Gabapentin and the last neurologist I had recommended Nortriptiline to be used in conjunction with the Gabapentin to help with pain. When I requested my prescription for nortryptyline I did not receive it and when I called for it I was told I just wanted drugs ! I do take a small dose of Tramadol and I have to come in once a month to get my refill of 60 pill 50 mg I've been waiting here over 2 hours and am in excruciating pain. It is so difficult to sit rise from a chair Since I'm on Medicaid I am not worthy of decent medical care so it seems. I would be much better off going to a veterinarian read more

1) Nurses do not know how to properly take BP. My readings are done with arm at their knee level and they give me no time to relax, often asking questions while taking it. (Not supposed to talk while BP is reading!) 2) Weight was improperly written , 10 lbs off. 3) Office closes before closing hrs! Twice in past two weeks I call and get the recording it is closed, and it is 10-20 minutes before closing time. 4) Dr Syed is a sweet woman who does return calls after hrs, though the staff claims she won't. read more

My family and I will never return to this drs again. I suffer with depression and am on medication for it the last time I went to them with a friend to discuss my depression and anxiety I was told I would be ok so I got no help then and then today I go in to get seen for a refill on my medication I get told no walk ins are you kidding me I'm standing next to a sign that says walk ins welcome no exception I look at them and read what the sign says and they just shrug I told them that I just needed a refill and what medication it is and how it messes with your brain if you dont have it and still nothing but a shrug so I told them I would be writing a review and they said ok so here was my lat 2 experiences so no we wont be back really sad that you cant turn to the ones your supposed to read more

Very rude nurses they sent my prescription to Publix where it was 170$ and would not be in stock until a week later when they was asked to transfer it to cvs they said they would then didn't and the office closed the next afternoon after lunch I called and asked them to send it to cvs cause it wasn't there for me to pick it she was very rude telling me it looked bad on then n they couldn't keep transfers g ugh very un perfusion all and lazy like I am the paying customer she looked very bad to ME !! read more

I am sad to write this review but the truth will never change, it is a sad day when you go to see your "doctor" and they are no where in sight nor have been in over three years. I myself feel like the bottom of a peanut butter jar but I still go to my customers houses just to let them know I actually do care. We all live in a fast paced world but when money dominates ethics its time to re-evaluated our life's purpose. Dr. Syed is truely a good doctor but her practice somehow has lost its purpose and her ambition for wealth has infected her integrity. This was my last visit to this facility. Every year for the last three years I get a physical and somehow every year they show me having a past balance due. I challenged them and said I could bring them the proof from home. I was told no payment no doctor visit. So I asked the girl at the counter to speak to the manager. Instead of the manager coming out she called my phone, mind you I was in the waiting area in the office. I was made to wait 40 mins before I was called in. Once in, I will say that the nurse was great and very professional at her job. As far as the front desk and management I really fee that they need to be educated on proper customer service and professionalism. read more

Since my last entry in April 2018, I have been back to AIM Medical Center for follow-up visits. I have been quite impressed. It appears that major changes have been in the making from the beginning of the year, and there was a concerted effort to improve communication and medical professionalism. For the past two visits I was fortunate enough to meet with Dr. Syed herself, which was encouraging. I still view "Dr. Margaret" as a great asset to the practice, as well. Dr. Syed and the young ladies in the office are trying diligently to make my appointments pleasant and worthwhile. The young nurses are delightful and take pride in what they do in getting vitals before the doctor comes in. They also are wonderful "listeners". I feel I am being cared for by a sincere medical practice. read more

In an effort to expand business, the doctor opened a location in Loganville. I have only seen the real doctor 1 time in three years....always has been someone else (and someone different every time). The staff remains in a continual flux and a state of confusion. Poorly run practice, although by staff, is a reflection of the doctor. After several attempts to rectify a prescription issue, with no satisfaction (and lousy communication), I will be seeking another physician. Doctors need to realize that we ARE the customers and treat us accordingly! read more

The Loganville location is a joke!!! The receptionist is extremely rude and will hang up on you if she cannot answer a simple question. They double book appointments, so be prepared to wait an hour or longer just to see the practitioner's nurse because the real Doctor never comes in. This office is ran by a bunch of rude, unprofessional kids who sit behind the office window and complain about how much they hate their jobs and like to roll their eyes when a patient ask a question. They never answer messages. If you leave a message, you will never hear back from them bc they DO NOT check them. You literally have to call back at least 10 times back to back before you can speak to a real person (with an attitude). Also, expect to come in every time you need a re-fill on any and all of your prescriptions (even if you have been on them for years). **Because all they care about is money, not the well being of their patience!** STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE! read more

I have been a short term ( 5 months) patient of this office.I"m on SSI at the moment so I'm on Medicaid. I can't say I'm a patient of Dr Syed's because in the 5 months I've been going there, I've never laid eyes on the woman. The PA there seems to be a very nice lady, she got on the ball when she found out I hadn't had a mammogram in 15 years that was the 1st visit. The Second visit sat for an hour and a half, had to pick up my husband from work, so I had to leave. In the mean time I've had mammogram...got a registered letter from Eastside Breast Center, not a word from the doctor's office. I call, and call and call...the office is not far from my home, so I go to the office. Walk in and the "receptionist" is talking on her cell phone. With said letter in hand I ask the person, if I can talk to someone about this. I wanted to get the results of the test. In the mean time, "receptionist" slams down her personal phone, gives me a really crappy attitude, and tells me I'll have to make an appointment to get my test results. Again...in the mean time I get another letter from Eastside Breast Center that my situation is important and that I need to have a second mamo and an ultrasound because of an abnormality...Still no contact with Dr. Syed. So I call and make an appointment because I have bronchitis...All the while I'm having more contact with Eastside than with the doctor. I go to my appointment, got seen by the nice PA, when I asked about the mammogram, she got really busy and introduced me to a new PA that was being brought into the practice. So I got brushed aside, got my meds and left. I ended up having to look for a surgeon, because I was told my one of the girls in the office, that if I needed a referral, I would have to get on the internet and find one myself that they don't do referrals. So talked to some friends, got a great surgeon and the problem was taken care of...NO THANKS to this office...I had surgery 2 weeks ago and I was told I needed to see my physician about my bp meds...they're not working well...SO...I'm looking for a new dr. because I won't be going back...I had an appointment for 2 weeks after my bronchitis episode, the morning of my appointment, literally 15 minutes before my appointment, as I was leaving my house, the phone rang, I couldn't be seen because they were renegotiating their medicaid contract and won't be seeing medicaid patients until that is done and that I'd have to make another appointment for the next month. All this time I'm terrified I have breast cancer, and these people refuse to talk to me about test results and then won't see me. I'll NEVER darken the door of that office again. If anyone that reads this is considering using this physician ...don't waste your time...You'll be dead before anybody there does anything for you...Seems to me if you're there for their "Weight Loss Program" you get in and right back out...they don't have time for regular patients. read more

I personally don't like to write negative reviews but I feel this is necessary for this facility to take things seriously and make the required changes for a better customer experience. My mom had an appointment for 1:45pm, when we got there, there was only 2 other patients in the waiting room. At 3:30pm, no one had seen us. So I approached the staff to see what was going on and was told, 1. Dr. Syed was not available (which has been the norm for the past few visits and we were not informed when making the appointment that she will not be available) 2. The nurse practitioner was busy and still had another patient to see before she could see my mom. So we decided to leave because my mom is elderly and had been sitting in her wheelchair for 1 hour 45 minutes. You will think someone from the facility will have approached us to remedy the situation or follow up at another time, neither happened. In addition, the exam room was not clean, there was no soap or hand-sanitizer in the room (in the age of COVID, I would think every medical facility should be equipped with soap and hand-sanitizers in the rooms). A really terrible experience. I don't plan on taking my mom back there but I really hope they make the change for future clients. read more

My daughter was seen today. I mean very literally just seen. The Dr. Syed requested that she come in for her prescription refill not just call it in. Once my daughter was in he patient room Dr syed stop in a told her that "I will not write a refill" and left the room, and sent my daughter to the waiting area where they then were rude. She requested her money back services were not rendered, the good Dr could have told her she wasn't going to write her the prescription before she set the appointment. Dr Syed had written the prescriptions in the past, she didn't say anything at that time. My daughter is a part time student and also works. The 90.00$ is a lot if money for her, and now she will have to figure out something else. read more

I strongly urge finding another office as the incompetence of the staff at this location could be fatal. In addition to lack of knowledge, there is an obvious issue with medical/ billing fraud. They schedule numerous appointments for the same issues and their only interest is to accrue higher bills. I had 7 visits over the course of 3 weeks, only to be told that they did not have a diagnosis. 4 of the " appointments" were appointments to make a new appointment. Literally I would drive 45 minutes to this location to be told that they did not have my test results yet and would like to schedule another appointment. So why ask me to come in just to tell me that? 3 months later, I now discovered that the issue is related to my heart and thankfully the outstanding staff at Peidmont were able to figure that out in the first visit as this location simply told me" I may have asthma " (which has now been determined that I do not). Also, before switching doctors, I begged the staff at this location to take a second look at my test results because my condition was getting progressively worse and even with an 600.00 bill and 7 visits, they NEVER even offered any type of assistance or even my test results. Their response? They told me that I haven't paid my bill yet and they only way they will look at my test results is if I pay the 600.00 (which was a complete waste of my time ) and then schedule ANOTHER pointless appointment. I plan on reviewing my legal options as this location could have cost me my life. read more
