Not only did Dr.Syed's office staff not call in my prescriptions in a timely manner if at all, they also charged my insurance company $500 for a routine office visit. They only took my height, weight, blood pressure and I spoke with the doctor for about 10 minutes during my visit. As I was leaving the office, I asked if there was anything else needed and their answer was no. My old doctor knew I always came in for mainly diet shots and would only charged me for the diet shots. When I initially set up the appointment for Dr. Syed, she nor her office staff ever informed me that I would be charged $500 for a routine office visit. It wasn't until 2 days after my visit when they called me asking for partial payment. When I disputed the charge, they left me on hold for about 40 minutes then hung up on me. After seeing the overcharge for the routine office visit, I decided that I am never returning to this office or doctor again. This office overcharged me and never gave full disclosure of their fees when setting up the appointment. The office has torn and broken furniture and I would never recommend anyone to this office. I feel as though the charges submitted to the insurance company need to be questioned. I plan on contacting my insurance company about my experience with this office visit and be justified. Sadly, somehow a corporation took over and the information provided here is seriously incorrect. Also note that the corporation let go all of his prior staff and the overall service has become more difficult. I talked to the old staff at the Tree Lane address a few days before it closed and they all told me that the corporation flew a few geniuses in and over a not very thoughtful pizza lunch told all of his old staff that the office was moving, and they were not going to be moving with him or the practice. Yep, cost gutting capitalists took over and they don't give a you know what about the patients. Happily, Dr. Sharpe still does, and so I still use him as my PCP. I had been sick for a couple of weeks with the Flu then a head cold and bronchitis. I thought I could beat it on my own, but a sinus infection finally got the best of me. Their excellent staff was as efficient as ever and I was shown into an exam room right at my appointment time. Dr. Sharpe did a through exam, and best of all, he listened to my story of fighting the cold/flu and ALL my symptoms. One thing that really bugs me are doctors who are too busy to listen to their patients. It may be simple to them, but it's not so simple to the suffering. As I said, Dr. Sharpe did a great job, and now two days later, I am well on the road to recovery. I give Dr. Sharpe two thumbs up.
