First experience was I signed up for an intro to pistol class on June 23rd and was in the store when the trainer called to cancel stating that the range had flooded so the class was cancelled. I know things happen so I went ahead and rescheduled for two weeks in the future for Tuesday July 7th 2026. And the young man behind the counter that evening was so nice and helpful that I decided to reschedule. The trainer for that class was a jerk!! I am a marksman with the M16 and I used to carry a .36 for work about 30 years ago. I was nervous when we got on the range as it had been a while and IT'S A GUN. He was snotty and rude when I asked him for help. Then he proceeded to make fun of me and said "Weren't you listening in the class?!?" An absolute jerk. I was not happy to say the least but in my mind I thought I would avoid his classes in the future and never have to see him again. So I proceeded to sign up for the $30 a month membership fee so I could practice and obtain my license to carry at some point. Since that class on June 7th I have been there three times (today would have been the fourth.) I had experienced great customer service and helpful gentleman behind the rental counter. Last Saturday July 11th the men behind the counter were very nice and helpful and I learned alot from them. I go by myself and use the members lane simply because I don't know anyone that is interested in shooting and I started this hobby as a form of personal protection so it was amazing all the things I learned on this day in particular. I recently applied for my permit to purchase and was planning on buying a 9mm from this establishment. Now today Sunday July 19th 2026 in the morning shortly after opening, I went in to rent once again as I have been doing without issue. I stood at the rental counter and watched two young men messing with a rifle pointing it and talking and stood there waiting for someone to help me so I could rent a pistol. One young boy stood facing me and completely ignoring me. I waited and finally the short blonde boy at the register asked if I needed help which I replied, "Yes that is why I'm standing here." Come to find out that I need a permit to carry/ purchase, my own gun or someone with me. This makes total sense to me but up until this point nobody has asked for these things and I have rented without issue. The tall blonde boy says, "We don't want you to off yourself." Ummmmm...who tf says that?!?! I'm like omg wtf is happening?!?! I decided to cancel my membership as I realized that this place is not following their own rules and apparently they just rent to anyone with only an ID. How scary is that?!?! There are plenty of places to go in Minnesota so I'll take my money elsewhere. As a consumer I just want to give an honest review of what I've experienced here. I would recommend checking out other ranges before coming here. I will be cancelling and getting my money back for the permit to carry class as well and taking it elsewhere. There are plenty of places to go in Minnesota. I came to Yelp to leave this review because they blocked all/any 1 star reviews on Google.

Came in today and the black male with the slicked-back hair at the range desk had a terrible…read moreattitude. He was being very short and acting like he didn't want to be there. I saw he was helping another client, so I moseyed around for a bit, grabbed some targets, and set them up on the desk. I noticed his attitude right away with the other customer. When the customer asked him a question, he didn't respond at first, and when he finally did, he sounded like a pouting child who was upset that the guy had to ask him what caliber gun was on the wall. As things continued, he stacked a gun case on top of the targets. When I got close enough, he told me to put my targets back on the rack and basically get out of the way so he could finish helping the other client. I have never experienced service like this at this location before. This used to be my go-to place. I felt safe and comfortable here. I started my firearms journey here, and I just recently updated my CCW here with another gentleman who was courteous and professional. But because of today's experience, I will never return to this location again because of that employee. I will also be posting this same review on other social media platforms.

While visiting family, we spent a few hours here because a family friend ran a "mud run" called…read moreWarrior Dash...you know, an obstacle course that goes over the river and through the woods....Well, through a river 3 times, I was told; through the woods, through mud, over and under several obstacles, and down a pretty big slide. This all took place in the blazing hot sun (I think it was 95+ that day), with little to no shade for the spectators! There were several "health" vendors, supplying samples of things such as vegan muffins and energy drinks. We walked away with personal spray fans and headbands too! There was a beer vendor, but aside from the sample energy drinks, there were no other beverages provided. Back to the race participants, everyone (kids AND adults) who participated got a medal and a fuzzy red viking hat, complete with horns. A rinsing/showering station was provided for everyone to wash off the mud, and there were changing rooms to switch into dry clothes. A nice touch was a collection station for the shoes of the participants....if you wanted to, you could donate your shoes to charity. They would be cleaned and distributed to those who need them. This club is out, seemingly, in the middle of nowhere. The signage wasn't that great, but thankfully, our friend knew where to go. I don't know how big the club grounds are, as we weren't allowed to walk around too much, other than in an area about the size of an acre. Parking was in a mowed field that was bumpy and full of ruts, and if you didn't watch where you were going, you could've easily twisted an ankle. 25/2019
