I went to Mike in February of this year to file my 2015 taxes, i am new to the area and had never done a long form. In my head i thought well i will go to a tax specialist and let them do it for me. Well Mr. Mike messed up my taxes when filing my Indiana state return and filed that i made 20,000 dollars less then i actually did. I am now being audited by the state, and Mike will not return any of my phone calls. Stay far away from this guy he will not help you when he messes up. read more

Anna has been doing our taxes for several years and her advise is always top notch. She knows the tax laws so well she can advise us quickly whenever there is a question on how we should do something so we pay as few taxes as legally possible. Her prices are less than I've ever paid before as well. Top notch quality, super fair prices. So I found Jim Block on craigslist advertising for an IT position. We had spoken on the phone a few…read moretimes and had setup an interview. Things seemed to be going good. However, I decided to check into him as he claimed to be a hiring firm which lead me to this other yelper who had reviewed him. So I called Jim and informed him I was no longer comfortable with an interview based on the yelp review. He immediately went into a rage about the yelp review saying all sorts of horrible things about the person who made the review. I tried to calm him down and to explain why I was no longer comfortable but he would not desist from his onslaught of slander against the other yelper who reviewed. Eventually I just repeated that I'm sorry that I was not comfortable meeting up anymore and he said I was "pissing him off" so I hung up. Would STRONGLY recommend anyone who be on contact with Jim Block or JD Block & Associates take care. If you do go for a meeting of any kind, please consider bringing a friend or contacting local police to do a stand in. I know I didn't feel safe meeting him and I would discourage others as well.

When I first met Tim he was very intentional and he talked to my husband as if they had been friends for a very long time. He put me at ease right off, I was skeptical but he did not put up with anything from the folks. He never gave up even in the tough times. He gave my husband direct answers and great advice in all the things. He will fight to the end like a bulldog he holds on to the end. I am very appreciative of him because it was a battle medically, financially and emotionally. If you need a lawyer that is will to fight to the end Tim is your guy.
