My husband arrived to meet Dan & drop off our tax information, only to be met at the front door by someone telling him he had to take his shoes off to go downstairs, where the office is. When we showed up to sign the taxes, pick-up final paperwork, etc. We stood in the foyer of his home to do this. Dan charged us $100 more than what we expected to pay, with no phone call beforehand to let us know or get our ok. Took a month to receive our refund, only to find out it was due to his $273 error. His response "whoever entered the information got dyslexic for a moment and the checker did not catch it." You are a 'professional' accounting/tax business with, according to the website, a lot of experience? These are someone's personal taxes you are dealing with & the error went through 2 people? I'm sorry, but that is totally unacceptable. Didn't find this business professional in any way. Thanks but no thanks, I'll go back to doing our taxes myself.
