I have been going to Dr Wright for nearly 20 years now and I couldn't be happier! She has the most amazing staff and when I have an appointment it feels like I'm going to visit my friends that take care of me In the earlier years, she had some ups and downs with her staff, but now has an amazing team in place! I highly recommend Dr Wright and her PA Terri White. Are they perfect? No. But they will do everything in their power to correct any mistakes. Sometimes I have to wait a while before getting in to see the doctor but when I get to see them, they spend as much time with me as needed, so I don't begrudge the time that they spend with the patient before me! It's hard to determine how much time a patient is going to need. Neither Dr Wright or Teri makes you stick to exactly what you schedule the appointment for! They make sure to take care of any issues you might have at the time I cannot recommend this practice, high enough! read more

We recently moved into the area. I have been to several FP/Internists looking for the right PCP for me. With Drs. Wright and White (DNP), I found the place I plan to stay. Initial wait was longer than desired but I learned when the best times to schedule would be for the shortest wait. Once in with the doctor the time was focused on me and I did not feel that there was any rush. We could discuss multiple issues unlike many other offices. The front desk is always the "protection" for taking advantage of the doctor's time but learning how to communicate your needs goes a long way for them helping to schedule you for your needs. I'm not sure what has happened in the past (reading previous Yelp reviews) but I am certainly happy with the level of care I am receiving. read more

Really bad doctor who only cares about money. Goodluck if you go to her.. Big pharma is her bible and there is zero room for natural holistic practices in her eyes. She isn't a Chiropractor so please don't get an adjustment it will be a waste of time and money. Her staff are very rude and unprofessional. I have been seeing Dr. Wright for probably over 10 ten years now. She herself is wonderful. She is a great doctor who really cares and takes the time to know you and she remembers. It's also refreshing to have a doctor that does everything. However I had to give her 3 stars because her staff is horrible. Even when she herself tells you to call for one reason or another her staff will ignore that. When you call in the message states someone will be in contact with you in 48 hours. In all the years I have been going there this has never been true not one time. It's really sad that she somehow keeps getting awful front office staff that makes her score go down. read more

By far the worst doctor and staff I have ever experienced. She is very nice, but extremely prescription happy and does not fully investigate the issues going on. Her staff is the rudest, even with an appointment, you can expect to wait well into two hours (Even when I was the first appointment of the day). They screwed up a lab request and had to have my wife come back in to get blood taken again. My wife and I have been to here 7 or 8 times, and the bad experience is a regular occurrence. I had to reschedule my HRT appointment a few weeks ago and I was told by the office staff that I could just "request a refill for my hormones, no problem" and the script would get sent to the pharmacy. Well I've been trying to get the refill sent over for almost a week now. My pharmacy sent the request and Dr. Wright's office did nothing with it for 2 days. I called and they happened to find it and I was told it would take "3 days to process." Well I follow up today and now I'm being told Dr. Wright is out until next week and I have to wait on a refill. The ball was dropped hard and no one takes accountability for it. Needless to say- I am going to be transferring my care elsewhere. This is unacceptable. read more

I'm not sure how much bad I can say about this place. When I first started transitioning I didn't know much better and was happy to have a place. But in the course of years now being with them there are many things to be aware of. 1. Your lab work is included in the price you pay, the Doctor gets a discount through Quest. However if they forget to bill it to the doctors account it falls back to you, so more than once I've had fight them to get it sent over that it was under the Doctor's account. Which means they will harass you for it through Quest. Once you can understand, multiple times is excessive. There's 1 instance. 2. I've got in writing straight extortion by one of the nurse practitioners. So you pay them to treat you, and they say hey ok this medicine works, now we want to see you again for the same thing we've thrown meds at for years and didn't, but now, we want another fee and a "refill" fee on top of it. I'v been medical and refills or proper treatment are never points of extortion. Which I may go back and link the text message thread at some point, or add as pictures. At that point I told her it felt like extortion, and Id go to my family care physician. (ghosted) . And this leads to the most egregious issue, trying to get ones medical records. I filled out a medical records request with my general practitioner a few days before Christmas, nothing, I have asked to have them faxed for my FAA flight physical....we gave our fax number (but apparently as of Mar 3rd, nearly 2 months later that didn't consist of a records request either). Out of frustration that did turn into a screaming fit knowing that nothing has been sent what so ever and no finger has been lifted. She informed me they had 30 days to get me my records....30 days. That in itself is telling. 30 days for records could be life and death. Sadly it looks the only 1 I can prove though is the records request in December. Which is more than 3 months by my count. The little girl that got the full end of my frustration and you could hear her laughing (that's what you can expect being laughed at when you have no other outlet of satisfaction) She's also the same one that hasn't lifted a single finger the many many times we've called. Avoid like the plague, if you are thinking about transitioning write me, Ive gone the full run now, I can give you some good advice than subjecting yourself to this place. There are so many other Doctors, one does not have to subject themselves to this demeaning place. read more

Came to the practice as a new patient. Was kept waiting for 2 hours only to have 5 minutes of face-time with the doctor who was far less than courteous. The front office person was missing when I finished and proceeded to call me after I left the office to complain that I left without paying. I will NEVER be returning. Horrible practice. read more

Dr Wright is amazing!! She is very friendly and professional. I read the reviews below and ok so the wait is really not that long of a time, and when your called back to the room it's worth every second. The staff is awesome and Dr Wright is awesome and is very educated. My whole family and friends are making her their PCP, and have also said the same. Long wait times. 3+ days to get a refill called in. Avoid.

Waited EIGHT DAYS for standard lab results that were sent to Dr. Wright's office within TWO DAYS of my appointment. And I only got the results on the eighth day because I called & hounded the office until they had a medical assistant (you read that correctly - not even a nurse) call me with the results. I had them fax the results to my OB/GYN who actually cares enough to read them promptly & answer any questions I have. Was even told by her staff that results could take up to TWO WEEKS. Thank goodness nothing was wrong. Dr. Wright needs to reassess her patient load if this response time is viewed as typical. read more

Can I give less than 1 star. Front desk ruined it. New patient because of family member, I did not want special attention just want professional medical treatment. Dr cancelled second appt yet they behaved like they couldn't see me for a month, so I scheduled with the Nurse practitioner. Arrived early for my late day appt, after the appt time went beyond the time by 15 minutes, I asked for my money back and walked out. Never again. read more

I've been coming here for at least five years and couldn't be happier! This is honestly the best primary care doctor I've ever had. I usually go to Dr. Terry and she is WONDERFUL. I never feel rushed and she really spends her time with me going over all of my health issues. I feel like I can really confide in her about anything and she will have some kind of amazing solution every time. If you have multiple health concerns this is THE place to be. Also, the front office staff are VERY kind and helpful. Millie, one of the nurses is SO GREAT, I always look forward to talking with her. Plus, she does an outstanding job with shots and blood draws (never bruises or hurts excessively). I know this place sounds too good to be true but it really is great; you won't be disappointed. The only downside is that there is usually a very long wait in the waiting room but if you go in expecting it - bring a good book - it's definitely worth your time. Seriously. I think that is just part of having a doctor who doesn't RUSH people and actually talks/listens with them. They feel like family to me. :) read more

Your front office manager is the most unprofessional disgusting person I have ever encountered. I was given incorrect benefits information and told her that the information was not correct. She argued with me and told me the wrong benefits again. Instead of her making an effort to call the insurance company she slammed a paper on the desk demanding I pay the incorrect benefit. I then called and verified my benefits and told her again they were incorrect. She then argued with me until I insisted she call something that she should have done already. She also asked me the patient to explain why my insurance carrier had something different on the website??? WHAT!!! I don't manage that website possibly you can't read or interpret benefits. She then wasted my time by arguing with the insurance agent about the website when she should be apologizing and taking care of the patient. I told her about her rude attitude, and she pretended she had no idea. I asked to speak with a manager, and she said with a smug attitude she was her manager. I was beyond livid and tossed the receipt at her as I could no longer take the rude and indignant attitude. Not proud but I lost my cool I will never go to this office again nor do I recommend anyone else being treated in this manner by a simple-minded ignorant so called office manager. Dr. Wright is great and her nurse was wonderful but the front office staff is not a match for this physician or her professionalism. The most unprofessional medical office I have ever visited. The staff is terrible and you will not get your results. I called over 3 times for mine and was finally told that I had an abnormal result. It appears that no one was going to ever call and let me know. I left a message for both the doctor and the nurse after and never received a call back. I filed a complaint with the Texas Board of Medicine, where I found out the staff completely lied. They said they had tried to call me back numerous times, which was a complete lie. Do yourself a favor and find a nice, professional, honest doctor's office which is NOT this one. read more

I drive from Arlington to see Dr. Wright and her nurse practitioner, Terri White, who has a PhD by the way, but insists on being called Terri. I've tried to find a doctor closer to home that I can go to, but I can't stand being treated like cattle, so I drive. This office is amazing! They ask questions, listen to the answers, go out of their way to make sure that you understand, even to the point of pulling out anatomy charts and giving detailed written instructions at every visit. Not long ago I had a health issue that Dr. Wright found during my annual Pap test, that she was concerned about, but it wasn't bothering me, so I kind of just got busy and blew it off. Her office kept calling me and finally sent me a letter telling me that I really needed to follow up on that. When I got the letter, I gave in and went for the test she wanted me to go for. Turned out she was right to be worried! I had a mass in my pelvis that thankfully turned out to be nothing bad, but I really appreciated Dr. Wright's persistence and caring! I have been a patient since May of 2014 and I have had a few issues here and there with no return phone calls and not sending information to the specialist that they sent me to. I continued to go because I absolutist adored Terri. I went in yesterday and the customer service was HORRIBLE AND HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. As I stated above I have had the same insurance since 2014, and yet they told me I had no insurance and had a large outstanding bill and I had two no shows. I told her that was incorrect and that every time I have came in i had seen Terri and showed up every time. She argued with me and stated that she was correct and that I needed to pay them $45.00 per the office manager. I said you are wrong and you had the insurance wrong as well!! The front desk girl came back and stated that per the manager we are correct and that I would have to clear this up before being seen. I WALKED OUT!!!! PLEASE AVOID THIS OFFICE IT IS NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE !!!! THE OFFICER MANAGER IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHOULD BE FIRED!!!!! I see by reading the complaints that I am not the only one complaining about them having items wrong and running an unprofessional office!! I have never missed an appointment and they did not have my correct insurance information in my chart!! I believe strongly that they had someone else information in my chart. PLEASE !! PLEASE!! TELL YOUR FRIENDS TELL EVERYONE THEY ARE RUDE AND HORRIBLE PLEASE DON'T SUBJECT YOURSELF, FAMILY OR FRIENDS TO THIS TREATMENT!!! IF THEY HAVE OTHER PATIENTS INFORMATION IN YOUR CHART THIS COULD CAUSE DEADLY ISSUES IF THE WRONG INFORMATION IS GIVING OR A SCRIPT CALLED IN FOR YOU FROM ANOTHER PERSONS CHART. The office staff at Dr. Wright's office is extremely rude and unprofessional. They act inconvenienced whenever you call the office or have any sort of question, and if you need a prescription written it will take several days and a few call back reminders before they actually do it. The receptionist at the front desk is the worst of them all. She's always in a terrible mood and is extremely snappy and disrespectful. I dread going in there because it's never a pleasant experience. You will wait at least 30 min to get into the room and another 30-45 min once you're in there. And 99% of the time you will see the doctor's nurse because Dr. Wright has way too many patients and she doesn't have the time to see most of them. All they care about is making money. They don't care about the treatment or care of their patients. And if you have an emergency and need to talk to Dr. Wright by phone, they will charge you $75 an hour! I am never going back there again. Take my advice and find a different doctor. read more
