It is such a huge relief to find someone who is so loving because one of our dogs has separation anxiety and he is obsessed with Abby and does so well with her. We can even tell our dogs we are going to see Abby and they are excited and know exactly who she is! As soon as we walked in the door, Megan and Abby recognized our dogs and ga them lots of love. The shop is set up nice and has a very happy and calm feel to it. There is parking dedicated for shop customers behind the building, which is so nice because you don't have to worry about trying to get the dogs out on the busy street. When I took my pup there recently to Whitney, he came back with a great cut but when we got home, he was shaking and pacing like he did when he was coming off of sedation from his teeth cleaning. He was so distraught and nervous, unlike any time I had picked him up before. he would not eat or drink and hardly wanted to go outside or play at all. I called TLC and the owner called me back and assured me they would check with Whitney to see if he was scared by another dog or something else. They never called me back after that, not even to check on my pup. I took him to the Shaggy Shack instead and explained what had happened at TLC. They said they had heard this from another client recently as well! And they also complained that they did not get a call back! Something strange is going on at this groomer. Proceed with caution!

Today was our first time going to Jen's. We have used another groomer in town for almost 4 years,…read moreuntil our dog Maisey started acting fearful. When it got worse at the next visit, we had to make a change. With the pandemic shutting down groomers for a while, I trimmed her at home a few times, and now seemed like a good time to try sometime new to get her looking her best again. Taylor met us at our car, and took Maisey in with her. There was minimal paperwork to fill out. She was very pleasant and professional. After much less time than I am used to, she called to tell me Maisey was done. The only real complaint I have is that picking her up was a mess. Nobody answered the phone or the doorbell (not counting a bunch of barking dogs). On my fourth try, I got someone. Still nobody came out. Finally, someone noticed the barking sofa and came to the front door. Shortly after she went back inside, Taylor brought Maisey out. She looks beautiful, and was very happy. Her nails look like the grinding was a bit rushed, but she hates having her feet touched. Taylor was worried the cut might be too long, but it was much shorter than we're used to. With the hot weather, I had requested exactly what she gave us. Maisey seemed to have enjoyed her time there, including some play time with Taylor's dog. Payment was handled over the phone, and was less than I had been paying. We're very happy with Taylor, and will be returning for all our grooming needs in the future.

One front leg wasn't trimmed at all, the other was only halfway done, and while the back legs were trimmed, they somehow managed to leave one foot completely untouched. We have done probably 15-20 cuts here for our 50lbs Goldendoodle and the price just keeps going up even though our dog has stayed the same size. Each time I ask they say "we had to raise our prices". Probably because you are losing clients with your price gauging. The dematting fee is a scam, we get our dog cut down to a summer coat, basically shaved, there's no dematting necessary when you shave a dog, also, if you are charging $119 for a basic groom you can comb through a few matts that are typical with Doodles, especially when you specialize in doodles, unless it's to a point it's dangerous which it never has been with my dog because we brush and de-matt regularly. I have even went through every inch of her fur with a groomer before passing her off confirming she's clear of matting.. Trying to maybe get ahead of it to avoid this, then I still get hit with a charge for it when I pick her up. Recently, I assume because of all the complaints, They make you sign a form that says they can basically charge Whatever they want and they are not responsible If they injure your dog. I'm sorry there's way too much competition in town to be charging $134 (including de-matting fee) for a basic groom. Not inclusive of the 30 options they give you for up charging. Based on other reviews, I'm sure the owner will get on here and tell me I have no idea what I'm talking about, which is fine, with a quick google search there's 10 locations within 10 miles that have higher ratings and lower prices.

I recently stopped shopping here…read more My vacation was disrupted for over an hour overlapping two days over the need to cancel / reschedule an appointment that was to occur over my vacation time... an appointment that I had canceled / rescheduled before leaving town but had not been fully addressed by Mutts & Co Grooming. I was told that even though I had grooming appointments booked for the remainder of the year that my July appointment could not be booked because I did not have a method of payment stored within their new online booking portal. Storing a form of payment on an online booking portal is not something I would ever do and did not appreciate the effort that Mutts & Co put into trying to convince me otherwise during my vacation. I was away for five days. I was interrupted during two days of my vacation over this matter. The unfortunate part of this story is that Savanah is amazing at grooming my fur babies; however, I will not place a method of payment within their online portal. I now need to make alternative arrangements for grooming which is not at all appreciated. Life is busy enough without arbitrary and unplanned side quests. Mutts & Co does offer a variety of healthy products for cats and dogs. They are good about assisting you to the car with large orders or even assisting with curbside pick up. However, all of the products that they carry can be gotten through online retailers. My only other complaint is that they continually store the shopping carts on one side of the store and shopping baskets on the other side of the store. Their shopping carts require the use of a shopping basket too as items fall through the shopping cart when used alone. Disabled persons have a hard time traveling to each side of the store to collect a shopping basket and shopping cart. I would point this out each time and would return to the same set up the next trip.
