Brought our dogs here while my mother in law was in the hospital. Needed to head east and they had availability, ended up trecking out here from the far west side of town. The interior facility looked nice, i would have gladly paid the additional cost for a big private area for them, but only general pupulstion was available. I was hesitant from the get go leaving my dogs here, the conditions looked like a puppy mill, but i was told that they have a vet onsite and that the conditions would be fine, lots of other dogs, etc, etc, etc.. well, with little other choice they were left. The staff is actually amazing. Everyone was helpful and nice, probably the best dog-sitters from a compassionate point of view. Unfortunately, much like multiple other reviews listed here, our dogs came home hurt, two had kennel cough, another had some form of bacterial infection and was on some form of medication for almost 3 months. I think the staff is wonderful to your pets, but the place must be filthy. I really wanted to like this place, as the staff was far better than the pet palace, but my dogs come back safe from pet palace and financially the pet palace is actually cheaper. Would have liked to have reviewed this with more stars, as they did help me out of a bind, but all said and done, i could have just taken them all with me. 1 extra star for the good kids working there. read more

Two times now following boarding at this kennel our dog has come home with kennel cough the dog is current with his vet visits and shots. This of course will require a visit to our vet and Antibiotics . And lots of sleepless night While the dog is coughing up a lung. read more

We just moved to the area and sent our dogs to All Tails for the first time this week. It's some of the little things they do that make this a place we'll keep coming back to. Things like a fenced in parking lot so in the event a leash slips you are worried about your pet running into the road. We've had to purchase different collars in the past to take them to daycare, at All Tails they already have you covered. Check in and pick up are a breeze. And most importantly they keep the environment safe for your pets! The products of all of that are peace of mind for us and tired pointers when they come home! read more

I highly recommend this boarding facility. They walked Bambi four times a day and were very understanding of her behavior (typical of her breed). We visited the center for a little while a number times before I boarded her to get her accustomed to the folks there and I left her for a month while I was overseas. WE LOVE All Tails! I personally know the owner and trust her with my dog 1000%. We have been coming here for the last couple of years and anytime we go out of town or Heidi needs a good scrub, this is the first place we call. Groomers take great care of their dogs, and my once-anxious Golden now LOVES spa day thanks to the calm and experienced staff! The boarding staff is very professional anytime we have a visit scheduled and they leave me totally worry-free. We were regulars at Petsuites for the longest time and made the switch to support All Tails and I never looked back. Definitely support this small business. After a vacation our dogs were returned caked in their own feces, ill, bleeding sores, kennel cough and a lot of unanswered questions. I have been a customer at All Tails R Waggin' since they opened 30 years ago. As a standard poodle owner, I appreciate a well groomed dog, a well run grooming business, and I will pay more for a professional groom. For all the years it was run by the local owner and manager, I would give All Tails a 5+ star rating. Over the past several months All Tails has undergone a management change. I have given the new managers ample opportunity to earn my business. During that time I have had appointments cancelled and rescheduled with less experienced groomers because they overbooked the groomer I requested. They charged me the same amount for the inexperienced groomer which is double digits higher than other area salons. Most recently I was a victim of their automated notification system which failed to notify me when my dog was ready for pick up. I asked for an early pick up and no one noticed or cared enough to call me after my dog sat waiting for 4 1/2 hours. I'm not sure if she had access to water during the 8 1/2 hours she was in their care because she gulped water like crazy when she returned home. The manager took zero responsibility for their oversight and chose to argue with me and blame me. She made it clear that my business is not important to her. She made it even more clear that my dog is not important to her. It's disappointing to have to find a new grooming service after relying on the same one for three decades, but that is just what I am going to do. read more

My wife Ashley was a groomer here so we had our dogs boarded here while on vacation. After picking up the dog we noticed his rear toe was swollen and inflamed. The owner and general manager refused to take accountability or take him to the veterinarian. We took him to the veterinarian who said it absolutely happened when he was at the kennel. They refused to pay vet bill all together and would only pay meds if we signed a NDA. We contacted the BBB and All Tails ignored all of their phone calls and emails all together. This place is does not care or take care of their employees in the slightest but even worse than that, takes even less care of the animals they are paid to do so for. Lastly I personally talked to the owner before I took my dog myself to the vet. He gave me his word he would take care of it if it was proven their fault as well as call me and my wife and apologize for the whole situation. Let's just say I'm still waiting on a check and a phone call. If you love your pets you will avoid this business. read more

After writing my last review we picked up our pups after a 12 day stay. Our older dog Buddy was covered in old urine and was looked over for his bath & brush. My husband picked them up and 2 of the three looked great. But he noticed that Buddy was wet and assumed it was due to his bath. But quickly discovered it was not. He tried to bathe Buddy but could not get him clean. He called All Tails and let them know. He was very upset, they offered to bathe Buddy so he took him back. They had no answers as to how Buddy came to be in this condition or was overlooked for his grooming appointment. The staff was upset but literally had no answers. I am honestly surprised that no one has reached out to us regarding the situation and we will never take our pups back there. read more

I took my dog to get a face trim and nail trim and I was told to come in. I asked for a full face and a trim for his ears. My dog came back with his face ENTIRELY shaved off and his ears unevenly cut and too short. I told them that I asked for a full face and the girl said, " we don't have a groomer today so the lady at the front desk cut it, but don't worry she has training." I'm sorry the front desk cut his hair?! You have to be kidding me!!! I told the girl that I wish they could have told me that they didn't have a groomer today because I would have waited to take my dog in. I'm so mad and disappointed that a place like this wouldn't be upfront with their customers about having the appropriate groomers available. I will never come here again. read more

My 9-month old Golden-doodle, Hudson, was groomed here today. Only his second time being groomed. He's a bit timid and feisty. I brought him here because of a recommendation from a trustworthy friend. His last grooming session was awful and he was timid for days following. His last grooming session was not at All Tails R Waggin, which is why I was looking for a new groomer. I was very impressed with his second grooming here! The groomer was very professional and the All Tails staff were very helpful. Had to drop Hudson off early due to work and they were very accommodating. The groomer recommended a 3-month grooming regiment due to his matted hair (as is typical with golden doodles). I appreciated her recommendation and will follow it! Hudson had a shaved summer cut, which I requested. A little pricey, but they took care of him. The groomer definitely cared for him and suggested she be his normal groomer, not for the business, but to ensure he grew comfortable over time...I was impressed with her and grateful for her detailed overview of Hudson's stay. Took a tour of the facility, it is a primarily indoor daycare and boarding. The place the dogs poop/pee is in a small fenced in gravel spot. (I can't imagine that being properly cleaned). The lack of fresh air makes me worried about illnesses such as kennel cough. There is a section with nice doors for the dogs and a section with wire crates. There were many dogs in the wire crates, which also makes me worried about the cleanliness where those dogs are staying. The people were very kind, but their standards are lower than some other doggy daycare and boarding facilities. read more

We took our Berner for training and boarding here this month. What an amazing staff !!! They took in Walter as if he was their own. Buddy and his staff personally trained our dog and took the time to go over his training with us when he was done with the program. We also take him to puppy day care during the week and he absolutely loves being there.The entire staff knows him by name and always looks forward to seeing him. I highly recommend this training and boarding facility if you want to get your pet a high quality, personal treatment training program. I would like to also add that after our sweet Gretchen came home with diarrhea, that we were not informed of until picking her up, she passed away on Saturday. Just a few days after coming home from her stay at All Tails Are Wagging. This sweet gorgeous dog died and we were and still are heart broken. She didn't even make to her scheduled vet appointment! I have been a customer of All Tails R Waggin' for 10 years ++. I appreciate the interest, care & attention that they have always provided for my pets. On one occasion one of my dogs had an unexpected medical situation, and they were amazing. Being quite a distance away, they took excellent care of my dog until I could get back in town & maintained great communication and care with me throughout. I have never had any doubt of the care of my pets. Whether it's daycare or boarding or both, I feel like my dog is also going for a fun day or their own vacation stay. I will never bring my dogs back here. We brought them in at the scheduled time after booking weeks ahead of time to be done last. They were dropped off at 9:30 and not ready till 6:30. I could tell that they did not have much water as they immediately went for the bowl. The past 2 times we've picked them up we've waited at least 5 minutes for someone to help us. The 1st time I had to go get someone from the boarding side. It seems like the customer service has gone way downhill and the prices keep going up. I would not recommend them. The owner did call and apologize about our experience. She said she'd send 2 grooms on them for next time. Did I ever receive them? No. read more

Can't say enough good things about this place. We take our 2 Cavachons and our 2 Sheepadoodles for weekly socialization and play time at their Doggie Daycare facility. Our dogs go nuts when they hear the words "doggie daycare" now. I love that they send pictures while they are there. We also have them groomed and bathed their multiple times a year. They are always so cute and fluffy and smell amazing. In the summer while we are on vacation, we board the dogs in their kennel and our dogs are always so well taken care of. Three nights with daycare was $184. Rip off. I toured the facility before and they told me about the nightly pricing for each room. I kept asking why there were so many dogs in cages weren't playing with the others in the Big room and they said multiple reasons like they didn't play well with others or just got a bath. Turns out they charge extra to let them play ($10 a day). Also They charge you the night for the day you pick up the dog - so I left my dog Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night and pick up Sunday. I picked up on Sunday at 3:30 but they charged for Sunday night ($36) and ($10) day care that day but don't tell till you question them at pay time they said it was because I came after 1pm. They also couldn't explain an extra 10$ charge- they did refund this extra charge. They are not transparent with pricing when I reserved, toured or called the facility. I was just told drop off and pick up was anytime after 7am and before 7pm and confirmed they had me down for three nights. But they told me when I made them break down why it was $184 for three nights at pay time. What a dirty way to do business. I also think it's weird my dog doesn't come home tired and he's nine. He also comes home very thirsty like two bowls of water Thirsty- I don't think they give them water. You also have to give your dog flu shots to go there (it's a two series of shots). So this three nights cost me an actual 264 if you include the shots. read more

I got a phone call within a few days of posting my original review. Basically I told them the same exact thing I wrote because it was true :) the manger said she'd send a gift certificate to which I told her I probably wouldn't use it but I appreciated the kind gesture. I guess I'm irritated now because why would you even bother a person for a review that wasn't that bad then just flat out never send the gift certificate?!?!! I just don't get it. What a complete waste of my time with them on the phone and theirs!!! I'm back in California, writing reviews of places that were terrific. This is one for sure. They checked with my Calif. vet to be sure all vaccinations were current. (I always have ALL done well in advance for true prevention.) I knew the charges beforehand (phone) as well as it being gone over again upon arrival. Some of the remarks here made me wonder about the writers, not the venue. My bag of dogfood (with scoop inside) and dog dish were waiting for me at pickup. Very organized. The staff LOVE dogs and are happy too, in the most genuine of ways. I come from dog breeders and tend to look at a place with cynical eyes though I've always had rescued mutts and cats since leaving the family home. This place passed with flying colors! When I stay at my allergic-to-dogs friend's place again -- this will be my go to spot. I grew up in Gahanna, so am especially likely to return and will be sure to board my dog here again. Their info is in my cell phone. By the way, Luksa was fresh from an operation that morning to remove an ear drain, so wore a cone. They made sure her medication was given and sent me photos of her in her kennel. We have used All tails for many years for boarding day care and grooming for our 4 dogs. I will not go anywhere else. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. My puppy loves going to daycare and we love it because it tires out a very rambunctious lab. The facilities are very clean. I love knowing that they are very diligent in making sure any animal that boards there is up on all vaccines. We recently had our lab stay for basic training and after 7 days we have a brand new puppy. She is so well behaved now and All Tails gave us the foundation to continue working with her at home. I have never had any issues when boarding or just having one of the dogs groomed. This is definitely the place to go if you want your pet to have the best care. read more

I ALWAYS take my hound here when going out of town. I now live in Blacklick so it's closer, but for almost 10 years, I'd drive here from Clintonville to make sure my dog had the best care. I came here for the first time a few years ago to have my dog boarded while I went on a week vacation. Everything was very easy to coordinate - setting up the reservation, asking questions, etc. The staff is very friendly. I came back from vacation to find my dog in great condition and happy as ever. They do offer grooming services so that when you come back to get them from being boarded, they are freshly groomed too! I then went back a few months ago because I needed my dog groomed but I was not satisfied with the job Petsmart was doing. So I set up the appointment - again, very easy - and brought him in. They asked great questions to determine what I really needed done and I left him there. I got a call in the evening letting me know he was done so I went to get him and they did exactly what I wanted! The groomer(s) did SUCH a great job I didn't need to have him groomed for quite a while. They have a VERY reasonable pricing scale for grooming AND boarding. They are my #1 choice for any of my boarding/grooming needs!! read more

We bring our dog Rocky here and use the self service wash. For $10 they provide the soap, towels, brushes, clippers and cologne for the dogs. All you do is focus on cleaning your pet. They even clean up after you. The staff is always cheerful, helpful and professional. The facility is always clean and cheerful. The dogs look happy and are always engaged when we look thru the windows. You can't ask for a better place to bring your dog. They offer so much. read more
