I have referred her to friends for photo sessions and she has photographed my family as well. This review focuses on another of Maxine's expertise. She enjoys to create and design special projects. I can only rave about the unique and magnificent wall design she put together for my hallway. I want to give Maxine a round of applause for photographing the covers of my 250 LP albums from the 60's 70's and 80's. She then designed the layout and selected material for final product. If you need someone to work with you on photos of your family (friends, animals), help with figuring out computer issues and especially have someone with a creative brain work with you on special projects, I cannot be more enthusiastic to recommend Maxine.

WOW....What and where do I begin…read more.... I recently got married and in my previous years planning I came across Maxine Arton photography through a friend. I reached out to Maxine about 7 months prior to my wedding. She was available and after a few short emails...I hired her. She directed me to her website to view her work and then we worked out a quote for my special day....it was a price that I could afford....I had asked a few of the other "Google" recommendations and they darn near made me faint:( A few months before my wedding day, Maxine and I met and she asked a bunch of questions about me and my fiance, how we met, our relationship, our family situations, and most of all....how and what I wanted to capture on my special day! She was extremely thorough and made me feel at ease about hiring her to be the photographer of my wedding! A few weeks before my wedding she asked if we wanted photos of our pre wedding events.....save the date, shower, bachelor (ette) parties etc....as we didn't do any of those things....we didn't need her. I asked her if that would cost more and she said it was all part of her " wedding package". Nearing our day, Maxine met with my fiance and I and we went over the pictures that we wanted, she made a spreadsheet of our families, the pre ceremony pics, and asked a ton of questions about what I wanted...uh duh...I dunno....just shoot what you think is pertinent to wedding photos....geez I felt like the most unorganized bride....but she assured us and made us feel so at ease. She listened to our basic desires and assured us that she would capture all of the special moments, whether we knew we needed them or not. She said, not to worry "I got it" and would produce everything. She asked if I wanted a video of the ceremony and the reception, I said sure! She provided a video camera and ensured that it would be set up for the ceremony. She worked all alone and I wasn't sure how or when she'd be able to take a video, but once again she assured me it will all be great! For the rehearsal dinner, Maxine was there, which I didn't expect! She captured all of the special moments between our parents and my siblings, I was not expecting that. She shot so many rehearsal dinner pics that I was not even thinking I would have wanted to see later, it was so special and an added touch that I hadn't even thought (once again) that I'd have wanted. Come wedding day.....Maxine was there....before I had even woken up to begin thinking about what I should be doing!! She took pics of my shoes, rings, boquet, little things.... invites, table place cards, ceremony setup, gosh....so many memories, I am SO grateful that I hired her!!! From that morning forward, Maxine was shooting, snapping, in and out of my room and my fiances room. She was like a ninja, I didn't even know she was there sometimes. She shot our WHOLE day....from me getting ready to our sparkler send off! I can't say enough great things about Maxine. A consummate pro, her photos are amazing!!!! I was nervous to 1. be photographed (I hate being in pictures!) and 2. find someone who would be able to capture these special memories for us in a way we loved. Ali is so sweet and friendly, she made us feel comfortable right away- so she was able to capture how we are with each other all the time. The quality of her photos is absolutely stunning. She came prepared with a huge equipment belt full of lenses so we now have a wide array of styles to choose from. By the end of our shoot I couldn't book her fast enough for our big day. I am so excited she will be there!

There were a lot of things I had to worry about with our wedding, and Ali was never one of them. She communicated very well, with contract, wedding shot list, post-wedding updates, all the way to the finished album. She is a very very calming influence, and gets all the shots on her list and more, some of which you don't even know how she got them. The way she shoots is not intrusive, and catches all those little details that made our wedding what it was. She has a gentle manner, and isn't bossy or loud, she can interact from anyone from my 3-year-old cousin to my husband's WWII veteran grandfather who spoke little English. In addition, we had a medical emergency just before toasts! Our contract with Ali was for 6 hours of photography, and she stayed well beyond that because it took some time before the EMTs cleared out. The memories she captured were precious. She did it in spite of emergency, drama, and all the wind and rain of Washington state weddings. Every year on our anniversary we take out our wedding album and get to enjoy the day all over again because of Ali.

Because he was willing to spend ALL day with us. i mean from early in the morning he was taking shots of me and my bridesmaids getting ready at the salon and his assistant was taking pictures of my husband and the groomsmen getting ready. And he stayed with us until the very end of the night. So we felt confident that not a moment was missed. 2. What I like about Neezar is that he has a very artistic eye. Not a lot of photographers have that. He will suggest what he thinks is best but if you don't like it, he doesn't get upset. His purpose is to please his clients. Most photographer with his level of talent are very cocky and want it their way, but Neezar is not that way. I have recommended Neezar to a couple of my friends who were getting married and they did not use his services because they did not want to pay his prices. Boy, was that a mistake on their part. They came back extremely disappointed, and you know why?!? Because they got what they paid for! If you want a quality photographer you will have to pay the price. Neezars prices are not unreasonable at all, but he isnt the least expensive photographer. But I promise, he is worth EVERY PENNY!!! And he wont nickle and dime you like many other photographers will try to do. In the end we were COMPLETELY SATISFIED with our photos and everyone who looks at our photos is impressed. Having Jodee photograph our wedding was the BEST decision we could have made…read more I had found Jodee scouring wedding websites right after my husband and I got engaged. As most newly engaged couples might agree - beginning the planning, hiring and booking process for the big day is no small task. There are so many amazing vendors out there, beautifully designed websites with eye-catching wedding inspo - it can all feel extremely overwhelming. I reached out to Jodee through her homepage, we exchanged emails and scheduled an introductory phone call. From that initial call I knew I had met someone truly spectacular. She was friendly, professional, well-spoken, informative, not pushy and really just a lovely person to communicate with. We booked Jodee within the week and scheduled our engagement photoshoot. All of her documents, paperwork, contracts and payment methods were online which made the hiring process crystal clear. We knew exactly what we had signed up for, what to expect, and she even sent guidelines and photo inspiration for what to wear for our engagement photoshoot. Upon meeting Jodee in person my husband and I were thrilled to have found her. She went above and beyond making us feel relaxed and natural during our first day together (which is no easy thing to do). Being in front of a camera is a really odd experience - but Jodee made it feel like we had both been modeling our entire lives. We also asked a lot of her when we chose 3 separate locations for the shoot, all 3 of which she commuted to for us. She boarded our sailboat for a cruise to the SB wharf and afterwards got in a wetsuit to shoot us surfing at Leadbetter. I have the fondest memories of that day all thanks to Jodee. Jodee is creative, kind, funny, energetic - and a very intuitive/unique photographer. Her eye for artistic angles/light/backgrounds is something that cannot be taught. After the engagement shoot she was prompt in editing and sending us our images - and we could not wait for the wedding day because we both knew we were in the best hands. Jodee helped make my husband and I both feel at ease on our big day when she chose a knowledgable second shooter to follow the boys and met with me and the bride tribe day of. She caught intimate moments without intruding, had my dad laughing and our families both complimenting what a light she was the entire day. The wedding day is such a whirlwind experience, Jodee was our rock. We have memories to cherish for our lifetime thanks to her. It is difficult to put into words how special she is. I would recommend Jodee all day everyday - and can confidently say that had Jodee not been our photographer our day would not have been as magical as it was.
