I attended back in 2012-2017 from 5th to 10th grade before i got fed up and transferred. I honestly don't know how i even made it to the end of 10th grade now that i look back. I wish i left after the 6th grade. This school has a very SERIOUS problem with bullying. The students here LOVE picking fights and starting ruckus in class. Wannabe class clowns, kids who disrespect the teachers or think picking on others make them cool. It is THAT bad here. This school is also full of fake people. For example this one kid i remember named Ryan who unfortunately I thought was a "friend", but dude would just stand there watching me get bullied like the fake person that he is instead of sticking up for me. Like what type of friend even is that? I don't know why I ever surrounded myself with that weak two faced coward. The fact the bullies were ballsy enough to do it in front of him proves how soft he is. If I had real people in my circle who had my back then the bullying would've stopped real quick. The atmosphere here was just negative and full of toxic energy. Fights were a weekly occurrence. Teacher turnover is extremely high and we would have a sub for literally half the school year, sometimes until the last quarter. The administrators do nothing about the bullying. Sometimes even your own "friends" would turn on you and bully you. I swear they HAVE to be spraying chemicals or something in the food at this school cuz i didnt get bullied one time over there at homestead senior high school where i transferred and attended from 2017-2019. Here at keys gate its just not safe for a child's mental or physical being. Especially if they have a small body frame like I did. Im thankful god blessed me and basically put me in a whole new world when I transferred. Never got bullied again. A euphoric feeling I'll never forget.

The normal child loves it with no problems…read more The autistic child was shoehorned here by another school that could not handle his behavioral problems. They should have refused him enrollment when I told them he was autistic. In their eagerness they provided a disservice. The major issue that I did have with them is that one teacher spoke in ebonics and wrote assignments using ebonics. I have no problem with teachers speaking ebonics outside of classroom, but inside it should be Standard American English. I only learned this because of Covid online learning. I was shocked at how the teacher could be certified in first place and secondly that administrators did not weed her out.
