I had them at my schools Field Day that I am in charge of organizing, AND IT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE! The owner came to operate the inflatable obstacle course and she was mean, short, and just plain scary to the kids! This day is supposed to be fun for them but instead when each group got to that station, she told them how she works for the government and how she's has owned the business for 20 years and blah blah blah! I paid a $180 deposit to hold my date and No one showed up and NO one answered my phone calls. Thankfully a friend had a small bounce house that we were able to borrow. This company is a scam. Made me use zelle to pay the deposit saying their credit card processing was down for some reason. Please do NOT use this service. SO dissapointing. by the way, its 9pm the day they were supposed to arrive and i still have not received an email or phone call explaining why they didnt show. took my money and ran! Also, you can dispute zelle transactions. just contact your bank. thats what i'm doing now! read more

I had reserved a 13'x13' bounce house for my son's first birthday party a couple weeks before the party. She insisted on giving her a 50% deposit ($150) through Zelle and stated they do not take credit cards or checks, which threw up a red flag for me immediately. I said I would give her the full amount in cash when they came to deliver the bouncy house and she said that although she trusts the delivery people (her husband and herself) sometimes it gets lost or they don't remember who gave them the cash. Weird. I said I would put it in an envelope for them with our info. Ok, done. I called the night before the party to confirm the bounce house would be delivered the day of the party since it was supposed to already be at our house. Debbie gave me the run around about how the storm earlier that day delayed their drop offs and such. I asked what time would it be delivered and she couldn't give me a straight answer. I asked if it would actually show up and she said, "We have every intention of delivering it." The morning of the party my husband called to see what time it would be delivered as our party started at 1:00pm. Again, Debbie gave my husband the run around with no answer as to when they'd show up and again, "We intend to deliver today." I decided to read the reviews on her company and realized there was a HIGH chance they wouldn't show up. I get a call and voicemail at 12:24 pm asking if we want them to deliver or they'll move on to the next customer. WHAT. I am so glad we were able to find a petting zoo last minute that came within 20 minutes to save our party!! This place stinks! Rude and dismissive. We had a party for our two sons, turning 1 & 3, and these folks ruined what was otherwise a beautiful spring day in New Jersey. Late (like hours late), not what we ordered, and incomplete order. As party time arrived, we called for an update and were told if we called again, the order would be canceled. We found that counterproductive. Our son just cried. You see, for a 3 year old, chicken nuggets with ketchup and fries wont keep you happy for long when you expect an giant bounce house. It finally arrived, but meh. Underwhelming, and frankly, I think the inflatable is older than I am. This place stinks. But if you do roll the dice on one of these inflatables, I would HIGHLY suggest getting your tables and chairs elsewhere. When they ALSO dont arrive with your bounce house, or arrive hours late, you dont have a place for people to sit, eat, etc. That also stinks. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I booked a 18' slide through their website and even received a confirmation email, got an email a few days later saying your party is coming up etc then the day of the party I see an email saying our slide isn't available. I call them and the lady reassures me not to worry and she will get us another slide. She tells me she has an obstacle course, but we have to take a training class for it. So, I go online and take the course and we measure our yard and we give her the OK. She said she has to check to make sure it's on the truck, ok. Don't hear back, call again, she has to make sure she hasn't given it someone else... I asked her to please just tell me if aren't getting it so I can call other places or think of a back up plan. She then tells me I'm unstable and she can't give someone a water slide that is unstable. Btw I do this for a living - I'm a project manager and run 5,000+ people events. I'm not unstable but how dare her say that to me?? It's my daughters birthday and we have no water slide and are now getting the run around. We never received the slide or obstacle course, I called mid party and told her please make sure this doesn't come because the party started an hour ago and I'm not paying for it. So insanely rude, and unorganized. If you don't want a sad and disappointed child then DO NOT book with this company. read more

Can you give 0 stars? Wish I read these reviews before booking for my son's 1st birthday this past weekend. The bounce house was well received by the kids at my party, but the entire experience working with Debbie the owner was a NIGHTMARE. Every time I called to confirm and move forward with the booking process she'd ask for all my info again - like she never really paid attention at all. It was long winded excuse after excuse and up until the morning of the event I never fully trusted she'd deliver. The customer service from this company is appalling. On my initial research call she mentioned a small option for kids - I said I wanted adults to be able to bounce as well. She then tried to persuade me to go with an obstacle course - I said it wasn't necessary - what else would be an option. Settled on a 15x15 bounce house that could accommodate kids as well as adults ( separately of course ). The morning of my event after she essentially threatened to take the unit away as I had not yet completed the mandatory training certification ( give me a break - I've rented these bounce houses for years and this was never required). I had not completed it as the website was not user friendly and all kinds of confusing. Anyway she arrives barking orders at her husband who set it up - and makes me complete the training before they can fully set it. She made me highly uncomfortable the entire time - definitely not the type of client facing experience I've ever had. Moments before she's leaving she proceeds to tell me my son cannot go in the bounce house ( I'm not a moron - it would have been with me for a few photos and without other kids) AND says adults are NOT permitted. I said that's not what you said on the phone. I took notes and would certainly not have paid for the more expensive option had I known this fact. She raised her voice to me and said I must have misunderstood. She then made me send her a text message that adults would not bounce. She was lucky my father was holding my son in the room and that I'm a professional event planner who did not care to ruin my event - if it were any other day I would have told her to leave my home and take that worn out bounce house with her and dispute my zelle deposit. It was just more of her back and forth talking out of both sides of her mouth. The woman is delusional and not a nice person. How this company is still in business is beyond me. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. read more

I dont like leaving negative reviews but it would be wrong for me to allow other people to enter into business with this company without knowing about my experience. My son's bounce house obstacle course was canceled three hours before our party began. The day of my son's party I had to call Debra Henderson to find out what kinds of proof of payment she needed because she sent my husband an mail asking for it the day of the party though he already had provided it. She was volatile and rude cutting me off immediately in the middle of my introductions and not even introducing herself. She said "I am a busy woman, you got a question you better formulate, spit out your question if you want me to deliver on time. Completely rude. I asked her what she needed for proof she told me the email was generic. I suggested she fix that issue. She then said I was "argumentative and a danger to the safety of the children so she was canceling". The entire conversation took one minute. She didn't have one minute to talk with her customer about her mistake. She emails my husband stating that I canceled so I am immediately concerned she is trying to keep our money, I respond with I didn't cancel you did. All of this is within the hour of our conversation. After the party I find some yelp reviews and discover other people this has happened to. One of them states that they never received their money back. The process to get our money back from her was long and stressful. It took 19 days, a bank dispute and a police report. She left a threatening message I have saved about my dispute with the bank saying she will prosecute me (which makes no sense because all the information I gave the bank were facts). She says this is why she can't pay us so I waste another 1 1/2 hours of my life on the phone with pnc who determine there are no blocks at all on my end and they say "seems like she's just trying not to pay you". My husband sends her all the Zelle information she requested but she sends an email asking for it again(this delays the refund another day). She didn't "trust" the Zelle app that she uses on a regular basis. She wouldn't use the scan thing my husband sent her because she didn't "trust it". This is the same reason she won't accept credit cards, "she doesn't trust the new server". She asked us for further proof outside what's normally required. She asked for us to provide her with the bank she was sending from which is not something we had access to. All of this caused the return of our money to be delayed even further. Every time she sent an email our refund was delayed another day. One day she was in the truck and couldn't get to it. In the end when she finally returned the money rather than apologize for all the delays she included a note that once again stated that I canceled the day of the party. They are the worst company out there. Never ever make the mistake of hiring them for your birthday or party event. They cancelled on us and then never gave our deposit back, which they insisted that you make through Zelle. So $256 cash is gone, and they are not giving me a refund. read more

My whole experience with Air Castle was amazing from calling and requesting a quote to the drop off process and the walk through. They were able to get me the jumper I wanted, were very clear during the walkthrough and even payment was a breeze. I would highly recommend using them for your event because everything was great. read more

Unfortunately I have to give a star in order to write this review but it is really a negative star. Debbie is the worst human being on the earth. We scheduled an inflatable with her on May 27 for my son's first communion party on June 19th. Each time I spoke with her, I had to listen to her brag about how smart she is and how she serves on a board for inflatable issues (like anyone cares or is impressed). I sent her my deposit. I watched the 16 videos twice because the first time there were no questions at the end. I had to write two statements for each video I watched and provide a paragraph to her as to why I believe my life lessons make be capable of supervising children on an inflatable. This took over two hours of my time and she never responded providing me the so called certificate saying I passed. We called her the night before to confirm the time as to when we can expect the inflatable for our party the next day and were advised that we are not a priority and when we get there is when we get there. She is rude and nasty. She told us she was busy and would not confirm a time. The next day I emailed her, texted her and finally spoke to her at 11:45 a.m. for a party that started at 1:00 p.m. to see where they were. She rudely stated that there were four other towns in front of us and that she could not provide us with a time. We had to run to stores and contact neighbors to provide entertainment for eleven 8 year old children expecting a water slide and obstacle course. My son cried on what was supposed to be a celebration. She finally called at 6:28 p.m saying that they were running later and could be at the house in a half hour. The party was from 1 to 7. We advised her that the party was over. She then advised that she does not normally offer refunds but on this occasion she will. We blasted her and told her she will hear from us in a detrimental reliance case. We will also contact the better business bureau even though she is not accredited by them for false statements. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! She is an awful human being. read more

Debbie, the owner, was appalling when I called to tell her that our delivery that was supposed to be between 1-4pm, arrived at 5:45pm. She was not apologetic and told me it was "not her problem" when I told her I had to cancel a dinner reservation b/c the drivers were late. She also told me to "just breathe" when I was explaining to her what happened and that I "wasn't her mommy" when i told her that she was rude and that this was the worst customer service I had ever received. At no point in time did she treat me as the customer and someone that spent a ton of money with her company. I would never recommend Air Castle and Slides Rentals to anyone b/c of her.
