    Working with the owner of CREATE THAT PARTY resulted in the ultimate success and fabulousness of my spouse's Disney inspired 30th birthday party. Initially I was worried the theme would be to childish but the owner pulled out all the stops by including real decor/accessories that captured the true essence of the movie. I'm beyond happy I was able to trust her with my spouse's vision because I wouldn't have been able to pull it off without her patience and expertise. The owner is resourceful, reasonably priced, courteous, prompt, and professional at all times. She made sure everything ran smoothly and the outcome was absolutely stunning. She ordered/arranged everything for us including the statement piece cake, all of the delicious sweet treats, the photo booth, balloons and light displays, centerpieces, extra tables, the bartender, and table cloth rentals. THE WORKS. Awesome experience! I looking forward working with her in the future and checking out her new spot!

    Don't use this decorator at all!…read more Highly unprofessional individual (Karan) and team. They forced a change of plans that the bride originally wanted by texting her constantly ON THE DAY OF THE WEDDING!!! When the bride (my sister) expressed that she would like to be able to make the decision, she was met with argumentative responses saying that they were going to go ahead and move all of the decor inside since it would be raining for sure the next day - keep in mind that at this point it was a 30% chance of rain happening, so this was very premature. Karan was constantly texting her all day trying to force my sister's hand in the decision and because of this, she could not fully enjoy herself the first day of the wedding. He continued to lie about timings that their staff needed to complete set up by and they did not even take down and remove the decor from day 1... the wedding guests helped to take all that down. Ultimately, Karan ended up saying that he would not be coming the next day for decorations at 2AM the night before.... This left my sister without a decorator for her second day with less than 12 hours notice!!! Luckily the DJ from day one came through with a last minute decor vendor (Dharma Events) that was able to take the original design and produce a mandap that was even better than the bride could ever imagine at almost half the cost of the original designs. I would highly recommend going with them instead of having to deal with this unruly and unprofessional vendor.

We hired Yaadein Events as day-of coordinators and it was one of the best decisions we made. Because of their hard work, attention, and constant care, I was able to be a bride, enjoy the day, and worry less. The venue walk-through and schedule review was super helpful. I will also never forget how CALM they were on the day of. You can tell they live and breathe weddings. Yaadein is top notch!

She is absolutely amazing and will help craft an event that is better than you could have imagined. She has been such a pleasure to work with, and would highly recommend her. Let me back up and give you some context. My husband and I knew we wanted to get married in NJ on my uncle's farm. The only problems with that were that we lived across the country in Portland and we didn't have a building to have the ceremony in. My husband and I also both worked full time jobs. We began to realize that we'd have some time constraints on our hands and hiring a wedding planner might not be a bad idea. After reading some reviews online, I reached out to a few planners and set up a couple of introductory calls to hear about their services and experiences. When I started talking to different wedding planner, every one of them started off by telling me about all of their packages and what was included in their service. Lindsay was different. Unlike the other planners who immediately went into their sales pitch, Lindsay wanted to hear our story and what we wanted in our wedding. It seemed like she genuinely wanted to help us create our special day, not just give us a cookie cutter list of services. This was such a refreshing and personal way of approaching wedding planning. I knew from that minute that I wanted her to plan my wedding. Lindsay of Simply Sunshine Events is an amazing events planner, coordinator, and event designer. She covers a wide array of events, from wedding and baby showers to corporate events and fundraisers. And every single review that I read about the company was simply glowing. Not only is she professional, candid, creative, and helpful, but she just seemed like someone who I would work well with. Ironically we both grew up super close to one another, so we instantly clicked on that part of our past. Even without that connection, I knew that we would get along well. We decided to get help on both the design portion as well as the planning portion of our wedding. I'm really not the most creative person in the world and I felt like we needed help putting together the overall vision. We were presented with a personalize design brief with a couple of different options. Once we decided on a vision, Lindsay was able to pick out vendor options that she thought would work well with the venue and overall theme. It was so much less overwhelming being able to choose out of a couple of highly recommended vendors than to have to choose from everyone in the area. Which leads me to another important thing that Lindsay brought to the table: experience. Not only has she worked with all of these people before, but she has seen all the ins and outs of doing a wedding at a "home" venue. Initially, we thought it would be more cost efficient and easier to have an at home wedding. However, it turns out that this makes the whole planning process much more difficult since we had to not only style a wedding but actually create a venue. Lindsay instantly knew all the things we needed to look into - a tent, flooring, a generator, bathrooms, the list goes on and on. She provided us super detail specific timelines of when we should do each task, as well as supplemental tools to assist us along the way. With Lindsay's help, my husband and I made a lot of the big decisions pretty early on in the planning process. I completely trusted Lindsay's opinion on vendors and that really worked out well for us. We had amazing food and cake tastings, had a florist meeting on site that was spot on, and have a Chaplain who gave me chills when going through ceremony options. The best part about the whole deal is that Lindsay can sometimes get her clients special discounts with vendors that she works with regularly, and passes those deals directly to her clients. Some planners will take those discounts as profits, but Lindsay has an awesome system where she charged us one flat fee for everything listed in her contract and helped us save money elsewhere. She was a huge help in constructing our budget and sticking to it. Overall, I'm so glad we worked with Simply Sunshine for both the planning and design part of our wedding. The wedding went off beautifully and I was so glad I could just relax and be fully present on the wedding day. Even though there was threat of rain all the way up to the actual day, we were able to execute a plan B (extra tents for the ceremony and cocktail hour) that most people had no idea was actually not what we originally intended. I was so thankful to have such an amazing team of vendors backing me up through the preparation and actual day, even when we threw curve balls at them. Simply Sunshine Events has made this whole planning process less stressful than I was initially expecting, and made our wedding day more amazing than I ever could have hoped for.

    I'm going to start this review saying I feel a little bad writing it because Michelle was nice…read more That's literally the only good thing I can say. If there were negative stars, I'd give her -16. I had hired Michelle for the day of coordinating for my wedding in which I had planned, scheduled everything for, made all the decorations.. the works. I had a list of things for her to do along with times and everything. I'm very particular. Days leading up to the wedding, she confirmed times and what not with my vendors that I had already confirmed with. But when they contacted me after she contacted them, things were a little crazy, vendors being confused on a few things that I had already discussed with them and we're good to go. Strike one. But I let it go. I figured it was just a hiccup in the wedding world. Fast forward to the rehearsal day/dinner. I paid an extra $200 for her to be there so when day of came, she wouldn't be lost. She sat me down to confirm everything, most things were already confirmed so I was a little annoyed that she took time away from my day to do this. Anyways, one question that popped up THE WHOLE TWO DAYS SHE WAS AROUND was- "when can I go home" what. The. Fuck. My day. Not yours. I'm paying/paid her so she needs to zip it n get to work. So after two or three mentions of her leaving, after being there for maybe an hour, I sent her home. My best lady and bridesmaids were confused when I did this, because then I had to run the rehearsal by myself. Thanks Michelle. I sent her home because she cared more about pumping for her baby and when she could go home over my needs in to which I had hired and again, paid for. Wedding day- she comes. I have papers n notes that she has for specific times. My mom is there to tell her where any and all decorations go. Once she is told to do something, it's realized she isn't doing any of it. My best lady yelled at her multiple times and told her that she should not be doing her job for her. And she's right. I didn't it my best lady, but I should have! I had hundreds of dollars worth of decor that didn't get set up, not to mention the hours of work and equipment I bought to out into it. Again she asks what goes where. Mind you, she asked me THE BRIDE my HUSBAND and multiple other people when she could leave. AT THE WEDDING! Are ya kidding me?? The last time I saw her was right when we were in line about to walk to the dance floor to be announced. Once again... this fucking girl asks us when she can f*****g leave again! This is about 5:10pm. I told her "when the donut wall gets set up between 7-730, you can go" THIS BISH GOES AND SETS UO THE WALL AND BOUNCES! ya f*****g kidding me?! She set out my f****g dessert table before dinner. So. F******g pissed. I'm writing this because I want to save anyone who cares about their wedding day to look elsewhere. I guess I should have known better when I went to her office and it was a limousine garage office inside a garage and there was a mess of clutter while sharing an office with her family at a table 1.5 feet away from us. Everything was perfect and wonderful except her and her services. So many people came up to me to tell me how terrible she was. Save yourself. If you care about your wedding, she's not the girl. Sorry Michelle. Wish you were better.
