After 28 months of begging Mr. Davy Davis to correct the poor installs of a brand new AC unit,…read morecondenser outside, and a split unit, another company ended up sending two crews and spending 11 hours this week to ensure that the units finally ran properly. It took Mr Davis 20 minutes to cash my 13k+ check back in February of 2022. I do not know Roger, I have never spoken to Roger, nor have I ever met him. Roger is listed as the owner of this company, but according to Mr. Davis, he (Davis) is the owner of this company. The AC unit was unlevel (leaning back) and constantly leaking water into the house and under the now-warped flooring in the bedroom next to unit. Calls and texts were responded to but unit continued to leak. The split unit was installed unlevel as well and also tilting forward which made the drain pan overflow running down the front of the wall inside the apartment behind my home. Besides being unlevel, the split unit frame was put in without drywall anchors causing the unit to slightly fall forward. This caused the flooring to buckle and the trim to warp. Once again, calls and text were responded to with him telling me that it was probably user error or that the filter was dirty. The Freon line was overtightened, causing a crack in pipe. Mr. Davis offered the service of cleaning my ducts at the time of install. Upon inserting the vacuum and brush, this separated duct from the vent. Mr. Davis decided to leave it that way and not say anything. From then on, nothing but hot air came out of that vent. Instead of using new wires and lines for the condenser that he installed, he used wires and lines that had been connected to the old unit for years. Not once did this man apologize for the many months of stress this caused me. Instead, he decided to blame it on the people he hired to help him do the work. I called and texted this man at least 50 times, collectively. He came out at least 20 times but was never able to diagnose the problem. It took two different companies, at separate times, about 15 minutes to figure out the problem. He literally told me that he was going to have this fixed and finally wash his hands of it after referring to me personally in a very negative manner. To his only credit, I did get a check for the 11 hours it took another company to fix his mess. He was on site during both installs. No, I would never recommend this company. I wouldn't even give it one star but I can't leave the review without selecting it.
