[[HIGHLIGHT]]He explained everything he was doing and even took the time to answer my general "how it works" questions.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He identified the problem and had it fixed right away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After the unit was fixed I ask if I should go ahead and have the maintenance while he was there. He checked availability and offered to do it then or come back next week if it was more convenient. I had him go ahead and do it while he was here[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. We have used another company for the past 5 years with yearly maintenance. Today during the maintenance he found part that had never been cleaned or even looked at because it had been encased by the company that installed it. He removed moved a piece cleaned the pump which was full and starting to store moisture on the floor. If we had called a different company I don't know if they would have been as thorough as Anthony was today. If you need a great AC company that actually cares about it's customers first, this is the one. The prices were definitely fair, no attempt to up sale or offer unnecessary services. I have experience plenty of technicians over the years, and absolutely NONE of them compare to superior heating and air. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Josh was extremely responsive on yelp, and showed up the same day as the request.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He spent at least twice as long as it would have taken to fix the problem explaining how the system worked. He was brilliant in testing all components to determine the culprit, instead of simply replacing the typical offending part one at a time until the unit was repaired. In addition, he did not charge until I actually needed a repair, not the simple call service fee. Do not go any further than superior, and especially use them if you have a problem that may be complex. There is no smarter, more honest, or reliable tech out there. read more

I just had a fantastic experience with Superior Heating and Air. I bought a house 2 weeks ago, and I had actually called a competitor company for some work, and they unexpectedly found what looked like a lot of mold in my heating ducts. Their solution was to sell me a very expensive UV light and filtration system and install it during their visit. They said it would kill everything in 30 days. Because the system was so expensive, I hit the breaks and did some research and found I really needed to have my ducts cleaned before any UV light and filtration system would be effective. I called another company, Superior Heating and Air to see about the cleaning and to get a second opinion. They confirmed cleaning first was the right thing to do because I dud have a lot of "growth" in the ducts. Then, they said a smaller UV light system could be installed adter everything was clean, so that is what they recommended. I appreciated that. They worked for five hours and ran hoses to my furthest registers, shut off all grills, replaced all screeds with white heads, agitated all boot boxes, agitated all flex runs, cleaned and sanitized all grills, power swept trunk line 6 times, power swept plenum 10 times, cleaned up after, and then fogged the system! I finally feel comfortable breathing the air in my house. read more

You know the old saying: you get what you pay for? You will NOT go wrong with this company! I can't say enough wonderful things about Superior Heating and Air! Having moved to Navarre from Minnesota, I needed a company that I could trust. This IS the one! It was taking me 2 hours to dry a load of clothes in my dryer. Yes you read that right! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dane took one look at the vent for my dryer and took pictures to show me what I was dealing with.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Yipes! The vent was so clogged with lint that it was no wonder why it took so long! If the dryer vent was so bad, did I want to take the chance with the rest of our home? Not this gal. I told Dane to take care of all the vents because the chances were that they had never been cleaned before. This house was built in 2004. Dane and his partner went right to work, cleaning every vent in the house. They took great care in covering the furniture as not to get any thing from the vents falling down. They cleaned the A/C unit outside as well. (My vents were a mess!) I also had a very pricey (but well worth it) UV light and filtration system installed (a few days later). It took the guys a total of about 10 hours and 2 days to do everything. People just don't know just how dirty their vents are until you see them! I never have to worry them for many years to come! But I did promise Dane I would have my dryer vent checked every two years. I can breathe better and the house not only smells better and best of all, it doesn't take me 2 hours for each load of clothes to dry!
