My experience with Angel, the owner, was a complete nightmare…read more After dropping off my boat for service, I was promised updates on costs, but communication quickly fell off. I went two weeks without any word, and when I finally heard from him four weeks later, it was an excuse about back surgery, something which he could of let me know in advanced but instead choose to ghost me. By week six, the bill was an outrageous $5,500 with no prior estimate. I paid it, hoping the repairs were done, but upon testing the boat, the motors wouldn't start. After bringing it back, I faced overheating issues and was promised a follow-up trip to ensure everything was fixed. Despite this, Angel had the audacity to send me another invoice for accompanying me to the marina. After I had gone 3x to test the boat after his "service". The prices he charged were ridiculous, and every other shop I've consulted agrees. This was my first boat, and unfortunately, I learned the hard way. I hope my experience saves someone else from making the same mistake.

Jack for sure like the other reviews mentioned is straight to the point and even offered a couple of pointers in the right direction to help fix my issues. Laughed about the brand Seasquirt/Seastrike which he mentioned he used to sell. Thought this was a good sign but not really. Ultimately I was told that he won't work with any engines older than 2005. At that point I even mentioned I wouldn't even mind dishing out some cash to get it fixed and that I think it might be the fuel pump or power pack. But felt very discouraged with my old junker. It was almost insinuated to go get something newer (wish I had the luxury). Would have loved to give Jack and team a try but they won't work on my piece of junk which I love to pieces and gets me on the water however it can. He mentioned to try another neighboring shop. I guess if your engine is 2005 or older don't try this shop and go to superior outboard services.

On the fourth rescheduling of the hearing she canceled on me and recused herself. She claimed that the financial documentation that I was giving her as evidence of my finances was not good enough. I ended up representing myself and winning the case on my own. Of course, Ms. Cuellar never refunded the $1500.00 retainer fee that she charged me. Also, pertinent financial documentation that I had given Ms. Cuellar was never returned. Instead her office mailed it out to an old address of mine in another county. So she stole my money and lost financial records of mine that included bank statements along with my social security number and copies of my drivers license. DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM. THEY WILL STEEL YOUR MONEY!!!
