It wasn't the lowest or the highest price from the more than 20 quotes I received. I paid them $150 upfront with the balance left to be paid to the driver after the vehicle would be delivered at destination. I called them a week in advance asking if they have a driver assigned to me and they said I don't have anything to worry about, somebody will contact me at least 72 hrs to schedule the pickup. I called them again (Steven Burke) 5 days before the delivery date and he said they couldn't find a driver for the contracted price but they may look for someone who's in the area for a different (obviously higher) price. 30 mins later I got a call from a driver who was in my area and was asking $150 more for the job. Being time constrained I said OK, and my vehicle got picked Monday afternoon for a Friday afternoon delivery to Florida. So, basically I was another victim of the old "bait and switch" tactic known for ages ... Now the good and again the bad parts of this story. The good first ... the driver was very professional and kept the communication open all over his trip down to FL and I tipped him accordingly after getting my vehicle. The bad now ... the driver was operating rented equipment which wasn't properly maintained, talking here about the Chevy Silverado which had bald tires all around, causing him to have a flat someplace in W Virginia and a broken accessories drive belt due to the broken bearing on the belt tensioner. Obviously my vehicle arrived 24 hrs later than scheduled after all of these incidents. You draw up your own conclusion if you're looking to deal or not with a company like this.

The only challenge I during this whole process was with the transport company themselves - they had agreed to a delivery period (after 8pm because my friend receiving my vehicle works full time) and the day before insisted my friend HAD to be available from 12-2pm to receive my car and they could not do any other time. They essentially forced my friend to take a day off - and on the day of delivery, the transport company kept running late and ended up delivering after 8pm anyway! That was really challenging for us working out receiving the car.

Robert assured me they don't take any $ upfront. Process was clear. Once the car is picked up he collects $150 via CC, then upon delivery of the vehicle, payment is expected. Dispatch called me gave me the drivers number. Called me again on Friday to let me know dispatch would be closed over the weekend but the driver would keep in contact, and happened exactly. Driver was honest telling me he couldn't make it up the road with his trailer to leave the car in a secure spot, as soon as he arrived he took a picture of the vehicle and then took a picture of the loaded vehicle to make me feel comfortable. So I called, told him if he could move my car for approx $X I would do it, other wise I was going to sell the car. He promised, wrote up a contract I gave him a deposit, we left town, I thought it was a done deal. Never picked up the car....21 feaking days late and went MIA on me, would not return phone calls, text or email. Needless to say I had to call another company to pick up and deliver the car. At this point I was in a bind so I got screwed and had to pay twice what I was initially quoted. Instinct told me I was not through with sweet little Max at Professional Auto Transporters so I put a block on my account from their company (which coincidentally bills through Square using the name Reliable Auto Transporters). 2 months later and they just tried to bill my account $350, thank goodness my bank was all over it. SCAM Do not use this company, don't fall for their sweet little family owned act. Do not give them your bank account info. They are frauds.
