This is a total scam. They should be in jail. They took our money and never actually made a reservation. We were sent false paperwork and then they called and said our flight was canceled and they would refund us after multiple emails that never happened and our four month period to make an appeal with our credit card had expired. read more

If I could do -10 I would. Every time I send a correspondence I get the exact same email back with no tickets. Our account was charged over $600 over three weeks ago and we still have not received their tickets nor can I get a confirmation. I've spoke to somebody I get the same response. I wouldn't recommend using Airborne Travel, just A bad experience from the get go. Flight time details run in military time and listed at 06:50. Booked flight on a Friday received the confirmation booking on Sunday. while reviewing the confirmation I noticed my departure time is now listed as 18:50? Called to make the change on Sunday no answer to the provided number? Called on Monday and was told that I had 24 hours from the time of order placement and that I should contact the airlines. No support from Southwest since I used this travel agency. In the end I had to rebook a separate departure directly through the airlines. Buyer beware. read more

They will book a flight, charge your debit/credit, then claim there was a glitch in the system, flights canceled and charge you more to rebook another flight. They will also use a threat of cancelation of a flight should a complaint be filed. I kept documentation, including original booking, cancelation letter (stated card never charged) then a new charge for new flight. I was able to dispute and get a refund. I made a reservation for 2 with Airborne Travel on Mach 23, 2022 for a May 14th flight to Chicago to attend a family graduation. On April 23rd, I received an email that said the flight had been booked, but did not receive etickets. Prior to the flight, I called once a week about not yet receiving etickets for the flight and each time was told I would receive them within 48 hours. My final call about etickets was the day before the flight, May 13th, and was told I would receive them within 24 to 48 hours. I not so politely explained that if I received them 24 within 24 hour that would be 2 hours before our flight was to depart and 48 hour would be too late. I was told I would receive them within 8 hours. About 4 hours after this call, a representative from Airborne called to inform me my reservations were never made, even though I received a confirmation email on April 23rd. So on the evening of May 13th, I was frantically trying to get flight reservations for the next day. I was told that the cost for the tickets would be credited to my credit card within 5 to 7 business days and I would also receive a $200 check in the mail for the inconvenience. As of June 4th, I have received no refund or money for my inconvenience, and when calling Airborne I have been put on hold then disconnected. read more

Scam. I booked a flight to my grandmother's funeral with this company. On the day of my flight, I received an email stating my flight was cancelled and I would be refunded my money in 6 to 8 weeks. When I went back and looked at my original confirmation email, it was an internal email with the company and not the 6 digit airline confirmation code. I don't think my ticket was ever purchased in the first place. At least they saved me the hassel of going to the airport to learn I was scammed. This company is a scam outfit. My sister was supposed to fly out to see us from PA to Chicago today Aug 22, 2022, but was left high and dry at the airport since Airborne Travel canceled her flight on United Airlines that she booked with Airborne Travel a couple of months ago. They never contacted her that the flight was canceled and they never refunded her the money that she paid for the round trip flight. As you can see from the many similar complaints on Yelp that they have been running this scam for months, if not longer, using the exact same website and no one has shut them down yet. The airlines are still allowing them to make reservations with the airlines too, at least United is so they are just as guilty in this scam in my mind. I called the number that they gave my sister and I got someone with an Indian or Pakistani accent. I told them what they did to my sister and they said I was wasting their time. On April 11, 22 I Booked a first class flight from Seattle to Wilmington, NC for a 6/5/22 through 6/11/22 (on American Airlines through Airborntraveler) never received an E-ticket. Worried and wondering - went into email to check for the e-ticket that I was sure had arrived and I just didn't see it. Nope. What was there was this message dated 5/29/22 (Sunday): "Dear Passenger, We regret to inform you that your booking has been canceled and amount had been refunded The amount is already refunded in the original form of payment and you should have the funds in a maximum of 21 to 28 business days from now. We request you to kindly make an alternate travel arrangement We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Thanks and regards, Customer Service" I called them first thing on May 31, 22 and spoke with an "Adwin" in customer service. He apologized - said that the ticket never was confirmed. I asked about rescheduling - he said that the price for that flight for first class had gone up to over $3000. (I was online looking at the American Airlines Website and I see that first class has gone up to $2200 from $1645 now for the same exact flight) but told "Adwin" that shouldn't matter because I booked on 4-11-22. He apologized but couldn't explain why my reservation didn't go through, (I paid it on my Alaskan Miles Credit Card, and then paid that amount back in full already) and he couldn't explain why my card was charged if there was no confirmed reservation. He seemed to think that the email on 5/29/22 was sufficient notification. I asked to speak to his supervisor. He said that he could pass along the message. I asked when the supervisor would call me back. He said within 4 hours. I'm still waiting and it's been 3 hours. I called my Alaska Card and disputed the charge. They said that wasn't satisfactory treatment. I had the option to report the charge as fraudulent however, that would necessitate issuing a new card and I needed the card to make NEW FREAKING RESERVATIONS! Flying East to meet my new Grand-daughter and help out my Daughter whose a first time Mom and my Son-in-law is active duty navy corpsman @ Camp Lejeune. I wasn't paying attention when I booked through this place. I really thought that I was booking through American as Alaska doesn't fly into Wilmington NC. read more
