They have a lot of other items too like Woks and Coolers as well as welding equiptment and safety gear. Awesome customer service! Daniel and Jon were both extremely helpful with a very specific, unique request. I'm on vacation flying home today and carrying about 80-100oz of breast milk for my baby at home. I brought a cooler and have been trying to figure out how to fly home and package my milk correctly. Tanks are over price. First we went to the back....Wait time was way to long. We waited over 15 minutes. No one greeted or atempt to assist at any way my mom, she is handicap. Then we go to the front hoping for better service,...just to have the sales clerk say she has to go to the back and gave an excuse that there is only person working. I understand how it is working by themselves but at least acknowledge your customer....by doing so they will know that you'll help them next or as soon as you can. read more

I went to Airgas to refill my propane tank. This was a first for me and I pulled into the back lot as directed by the signage. I stepped out and was wondering because I didn't see anyone around but by the time I crossed the parking lot with tank in hand, a guy was heading out to greet me. I inquired how much it would cost to fill the tank as I didn't have a lot of cash on me and the price seemed reasonable. Unfortunately, it turned out my tank was too old and the sales guy pointed out the date stamped on it 1989 (I think I originally got it from my Dad and have been using it for my grill) and he said they can't fill anything older than 12 years old. BUT, then he gave me options including purchasing a new tank and the propane separately for a lot more OR going to a competitor that would exchange my tank with a full one for less than he was going to charge me for the propane alone. Now that's what I call customer service! I do believe I will return to check out what else they have because of the way I was treated today. Reading other reviews, I know they have stuff I would like to purchase. I hope this doesn't get that sales guy in trouble for sending me to the competition but I want to say thank you and I will be back and hope this review drums up more business for Airgas! read more

This place sucks, specially the bearded Japanese guy behind the counter, stopped by to get a coupler and a cap which he insisted didn't exist, walked back to the racks, turned around real quick and told me that they didn't have the coupler in stock , didn't even check anything I was looking at him the whole time. I had a great experience. I read many negative reviews about not being able to keep your own canister. I found it incredibly convenient just to switch out canisters. If you want to keep your own then I suggest going over to Pearl city but if you want quick and convenient and an incredibly nice group of people to help you, go to Airgas read more

I've come to Airgas twice now and each time has been really easy. The store laid out so that I'm not aimlessly walking around trying to figure out where everything is. The workers are always helpful and one even went above and beyond and cleaned up the item that I was purchasing. They're all super helpful here and this place has saved me from having to go to what I call my personal hell - Home Depot. They also sell camping gear and they had this large machete that I really want but have no use for. lol. read more

I should have gone there first... Seemed simple enough to convert my propane grill to natural gas. The conversion kit had everything (supposedly). I dead ended on connecting the gas line to the supply line, going to multiple hardware stores to get a seemingly simple coupling or reduction connector. Many hardware stores have large varieties of these. I had gone to Gaspro before and felt ignored not buy giant amounts of gas, welding supplies, out door cooking equipment etc. NOT THIS TIME. My query was more complex than it seemed to me. The gentleman that helped me straightened the problem out fast by thinking out of the box. He also refereed another salesman that new a lot specifically about converting cooking equipment, score! good job Gaspro, keep up the great customer service work. read more

The Waipahu store is quiet and not as busy as the Honolulu store. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

I like coming here to pick up ear plugs cause they got a great selection. This way I can filter out all the noise people make.

Do not use Airgas, they will nickle and dime you any way they can. We purchased a couple of oxygen canisters from Airgas about 5 years ago. Despite having the Airgas sticker on both canisters, as well as a purchase order number on both canisters, they refuse to take the canisters back and instead insist on charging us $90 PER canister in order to recycle it. DO NOT USE AIRGAS. Other places will recycle your used canisters for less than $20. I will never use them again. read more

Terrible. I bought a regulator for 2 propane tanks. Took it home and installed it and it was defective. I took it back and was told that I had loosened the intake fittings so no refund. I told him that I took them out to put in my intake fittings that came with rubber hoses, not the junk copper lines that they had at the store. I had to buy another regulator and go to my credit card company to get a refund on the defective regulator. The employee said there was a 30 day warranty but not true, not one day.
