Airi Ramen is a nice little Asian restaurant. The space is adequate, but not recommended for large gatherings. Their interior is lovely; Asian decor mixed with wine culture. The place is very clean. The staff are patient and attentive. Their menu prices are decent. Airi Ramen doesn't just serve ramen; there's rice dishes, yaki udon, soup, poke bowls, bao buns and a vast variety of sushi. Those of you who love to drink (not me), Airi Ramen offer wine, margaritas, sake, beer and mixed drinks. Yes, parents, there's a kids' menu. Airi Ramen also does catering. Since this isn't an Asian cafe, desserts are lacking here. Airi Ramen omitted some menu items a while ago. My companion liked her dish, but my ramen order wasn't right. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Ramen, but there was NO spice. It was just very salty. If I come back here, I'll try a different dish. read more

First time here. Smaller version to most Japanese spots. But so far food was seasoned and taste was good. Didn't feel like having a sushi roll today at all. Needed soup and broth with this cold weather outside. So I ordered to-go, and got the spicy chicken ramen with added egg, mushrooms, and a order of 3 jumbo shrimp added. Also ordered the teriyaki salmon plate. Which cane with veges like zucchini, and mushrooms as well as onions. The take away was the rice choice. Two dollar up charge for fried rice, and white rice is included though. I enjoy my fried rice, faithfully. Most places, white rice is bland or either undercooked or two hard. So I didn't go with the two dollar up charge, cause I was already around 43.00 dollars. Wasn't necessary. So looking at the bottom of the menu, notice free items only for to-go orders. So my order with tax allowed an order of free crab puffs. So yea, it all made up for the non-fried rice. Who doesn't want free things. Also first time eating crab puffs. Amazingly delicious, with or without the sauce. Very creamy and full. Let's just say I was full and ready for bed after. Would try here again to satisfy my cravings for fried rice on a good day and their sushi rolls. First time wasn't bad. And white rice on the scale of 1 to 5, a 3.5. read more

Went last month for a last minute date with the wife the pork katsu was huge in a bed of roasted vegetables, and it comes with miso soup and rice as well, the tonkatsu soup was really tasty, the only thing is the rice they use or how they cooked it was not that great l, also their takoyaki really had octopus chunks, besides that everything was good and affordable forgot to save a picture of the bill read more

Generally I enjoy their food. Today I tried the chicken karaage. I was very disappointed. It was not seasoned and was very very dry. It doesn't come with any sauce so nothing to help the dry chewiness of the overcooked chicken. Service was slow and there was no suggestion to compensate for the awful chicken. I ordered the gyoza and the wonton ramen. The service was great and they were packed! I was able to get in and out quickly. The restaurant is smaller so they are limited on their space. After reading all the good reviews my wife and I wanted to try it out. Upon entering there was a weird smell, but that was fine with me. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, the service was slow, but the waiter was nice and friendly. Here comes the bad part my wife ordered chicken fried rice and as soon as she looked there was a black hair in the rice and I looked down at my plate of General tso chicken and I had a long blonde/gray hair in my chicken. The manager never came out to speak with us about the situation at that point we just wanted to leave and I still had to pay for the one drink we ordered, smh! read more

This was my 4th time going here and it's now my go to whenever I'm in Baytown with a ramen craving. What's better on a cold winter day than a bowl of spicy ramen? The service is always friendly and the food has never disappointed. First time getting takoyaki there and it's been some of the best I've ever had. The interior is a little cramped, or you could say "intimate" and there is no vestibule/foyer so any time someone opened the door you get some instant wind chill if you sit in the middle row. The owners are very sweet also, hopefully they get to expand to a larger location one day, we will be back regardless. read more

I would happily give a zero I order online for my family $80 I left a $12 tip for delivery very easily click delivery called after an hour because food is not showing up they tell me I have to pick up the food myself I come and pick up the food I request my tip to be removed since it was for delivery and I came and pick it up my food talk to a manager play like they don't speak English said show me on the website where you click delivery if I would have never called I would never get my food and the lady the front I spoke to me say she was the rudest person I talk into in a while it's small comparison I will never ever buy food from this place again read more

The lady owner is just as sweet as can be and goes out of her way to make sure her patrons are satisfied. There is a young woman server named Mijoi, that is phenomenal in so many ways. I've never been this to place before. My boyfriend and I were looking for a nice place to have lunch and we were wanting some place that served both sushi and Chinese and this was it. I've always heard of it and seen photos and videos before of how good everything looks. And that's exactly it. It's just looks. Upon entering the establishment, it reeked of nail polish and I'm sure it's because it was next door to a nail salon. But it should not have stank so bad like nail polish and nail polish remover. It was like a stink bomb of that stuff. It took a while to get used to that smell especially in a place where I'm bout to eat. I completely lost my appetite because of it. But I wanted to try it since we already sat down in the restaurant. All their items looked good but I get like I could only stomach an appetizer. I wanted something simple with not too much going on in the dish so I got spicy tuna roll and my boyfriend got the general tao chicken. The server we had was nice but I could tell she was a little forgetful cause she seemed all over the place at her other tables. Our food arrived and I tried to get the smell out of my memory so I could enjoy the food. The spicy tuna roll was so dry like it came with nothing. H‑E‑B sells better sushi than this place. Our server came by and asked if everything was good and I politely smiled. I didn't want to lie and say yes. She asked if I needed soy sauce and I said yes. So I waited...and waited...and waited. I eventually got tired of waiting and seeing her look busy with her other tables, so I just finished the rest of the roll. By far the worst sushi I have ever tasted. Like I said. H‑E‑B next door has better sushi than this. I had pickled ginger on my late as well and I wanted to clean my palate from the roll I just had but even the ginger was disgusting. Usually ginger is spicy and will have a kick. This ginger was so...idk how exactly to describe it but it was so bland. I'd guess it was stale. I couldn't believe the ginger was so awful. I wanted to hurry up and go so I no longer had to suffer the torment of this place. I'm not sure about their other menu items but I wouldn't wanna come back here just cause of the smell that leaks into the restaurant from the nail salon next door. We picked up to go and it was still great. I would have given it a 5 star review had the pick up process not been so bad. I planned on a quick in & out so I left the kids in the truck (it was on and right in front of me). It is a very small venue. They have a Small bar which was full at the time. I attempted to make it up there as a waitress was coming down the small aisle between tables. She made eye contact & said nothing. I moved, then made my way BACK to the back to wait. Another waitress came to clean the table I was standing next to. She avoided eye contact and finally I asked how the to go order pick up works since no one had acknowledged me. She was very nice but I was aggravated since they clearly saw me but I was ignored by multiple staff. I loved that the broth was separate so my daughter didn't make a mess since she was "too hungry" to wait. It was her first time eating Ramen and she LOVED it. This place has definitely won my loyalty. I've tried another local place but this one is my favorite and will definitely save me trips to Houston. The inside is really cute and they play the music from anime openings. We had takoyaki, pork belly boa and katsu chicken boa to start. Everything was very delicious I just wish the pork was a little bit more tender. Our entrees were spicy chicken ramen and spicy miso ramen both with udon noodles. The ramen was bursting with flavor, I usually don't like chicken ramen but this one has a beautiful aftertaste that has me taking bite after bite.
