Dude what's going on? I come in here about 3 times a week ( I work down the street and it's convenient) these people never used to be here. Now all they do is sit there and stare at the employees it's honestly kind of weird. The whole vibe of the place even feels off now it's so tense and it even feels like they're watching me order my food. The lady doesn't ever speak just dead stares at everyone and it's very unwelcoming and unprofessional as for the man he's always on his phone like what's the point of you being there if you aren't doing anything. And my favorite manager Miss Lulu isn't there like she usually is. She's my favorite part of bay poke and the main reason why I keep coming back for my lunch break. I think I'm done going to the restaurant the two people in the booth just give me the creeps and without Miss Lulu it just feels like something is missing. read more

Walked in and ordered for takeout. You can make your own poke bowl or order one of the pre-selected bowls. They also have ramen but I decided to order a pre-selected bowl called the Hula Hawaii. Comes with shrimp, tuna, and salmon and I added a few toppings that didn't come with the Hula Hawaii. The food is so fresh and tastes amazing!! Loved how big the individual shrimp pieces were. Umami shoyu + ginger dressing combo is perfect sweetness without overpowering the flavors of the food itself. I also ordered sesame balls (comes in pack of 4) and they came out warm and fresh. The workers are super friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Atmosphere pf the restaurant is lively and cutesy inside with lots of seating available. 10/10 would come back again! read more

I've been wanting to try this place but last time I came here they were closed, (side note, they are closed on Mondays). I love that you can build your own Poke Bowl, they also have their Signature Pokes, and there's Ramen and Boba Tea as well! It's a nice casual place with a cute little Tiki Hut-esque patio in the front. The staff there are nice and accommodating. If it's your first time trying Poke Bowls or you don't like raw fish, they will cook it for you! I love Poke Bowls so I built my own bowl with a mix of Spicy Tuna and Ahi Tuna, added some toppings and overall not a bad poke bowl. Although the Ahi Tuna was on the firmer side which I didn't love and it wasn't too fishy. As for their Boba tea I got a normal milk tea (which is my benchmark for boba teas) and their special boba tea, the Barbie Boba Tea. It was honestly just strawberry milk tea with some kind of fruity tapioca pearls, although I didn't love it, I appreciate them for trying to make a themed drink. read more

I'm very disappointed with the quality and portion size at this location. Both photos are of the same medium bowl order, the only difference is the avocado. The contrast between this location and the Pasadena/Ahi Poke location is hard to ignore. Portion size, presentation, and overall quality here fall far short. As a Baytown local, I'd rather drive an extra 20 minutes to the Pasadena location, where it's clear customers and consistency actually matter. I've been coming to Bay Poke since they first opened. It's disappointing how sparse the poke bowl is. They serve so little and limit how much of a specific topping you get. Generous portions and lots of delicious options to choose from for Poke bowls such as grilled eel and avocado. I personally haven't been to another poke shop that has eel or doesn't charge extra for avocado. They also have kale noodles as an option for poke bowls and I loved it! Pretty good! Surprised about the food quality. I ordered tonkotsu with spicy sauce added. Broth was perfect amount of creamy brothinness, and the soft boiled egg was perfect. Came out quick too which is a plus when I only have an hour for lunch. Quantity: lots of meat, whole boiled egg (some places only give half), and plenty of veggies that are cooked well. I am not sure if management changed since I first started going to Bay Poke over a year ago but I was treated rudely by the manager who answered the phone when I called to complain. I ordered ramen to go and I was told by the girl who handed my food to me that everything was in the bag and it wasn't, I was given a fork and chopsticks but no spoon. What's there to say about this place other than you pay for what you get. Not only is it quantity but also quality. The place is clean, the serving is HUGE, and the people seem really nice. They do wear masks and not just to their chin. First time here and was very impressed and would give it 10 out of 10 if I could. Now just wish that they would open one up in Mont Belvieu because I think it would really do super well. We'll be coming back that's for sure and will be regulars as well. read more

Great revamp of this space. Food was delicious everything appeared to be fresh and there was no fishy smell notable in the space. Plenty of room for people to sit. They have not set up and plexiglass to separate booths at this time but there is outdoor seating for those who would like to sit there. I ordered a "pokè your own bowl" ($11.49) so I was able to choose what was in my bowl, tuna was very fresh, and they had lots of toppings to choose from. My boyfriend got a "Spicy Korean Seafood Ramen" bowl, he said it was great, but portions "could have been bigger" although for the price of $10.95 it seemed to have a decent amount, he wished there was an option to add more protein or noodles. We walk in before it closes and we were told "I can't promise you food because the cooks might be out the door". How are the burners off before the place has closed?
