Sites are not pull through but since we stayed a week we had to unhook our Jeep anyway. Our motorhome is 35' but larger coaches would fit in these spaces. Manager is very friendly and helpful. Office closes at 5. It's Very clean and beautiful ... away from the busy-ness of Branson but close to everything. Just hop onto the highway a few minutes away and your there within 15 minutes or less. There is a country farm market about a mile away that offers farm eggs, fresh fruit and veggies. The sites are very nice and mostly surrounded by trees. You are in a canyon so it is so quiet. The downside is, it is in a canyon. The sites are all terraced Dow a hillside, this can make for some tricky maneuvering. Not the best place if you are not well versed in moving your tow vehicle. But if you are, this is the closest park to many showers and attractions allowing you to walk to many.

Musicland Kampground in Branson is the best managed private campground I have come across in three decades of RV-ing. It starts at the top - David the owner is hands-on and keeps in touch, riding around and checking on things. A good manager hires good people and David has exceptional people all around. The people that park you and bring propane to your site are all very personable. First impressions are drawn when you first see a very well kept facility with thoughtful touches. All the sites are in excellent shape and nothing goes wanting. Then one meets the office staff and realizes that they are in a quality run place. Madeline in the office is a sweetheart and so personable, she would find a way to do anything she can for you. You are never an annoyance to her. Yet, I have never seen a treasure as is Rebeccah. She is the epitome of efficiency and action. I have never witnessed a more capable person in the service business. Every time I pull up on the scooter to collect packages, she has them in her hand before I enter the office. She can handle the phone while dealing with customers standing before her with aplomb...never rattled. She always has everything in order and yet has one of the lovliest personalities I've ever come across - I give her some playful guff and she throws it right back at me. In sum, this is a near-perfect campground - the facilities, the management, the staff and the best location right on the Branson "Strip" all blend to make this the best campground experience so far in my lifetime. My family and I, along with families from Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Springfield, MO have been booking…read moreat least a weeks stay at Rainbow Haven Resort and Marina in Rockaway Beach, MO for over 20 years. We call each other our "vacation family" and our kids, and now my grandkids, have grown up together, learned to swim and made so many memories at this resort, that it is almost painful to create this post. We have outlasted 3 previous owners whom we also considered part of that "vacation family". They were welcoming people who did everything in their power to make a stay at Rainbow Haven Resort and Marina as memorable as it could possibly be. However, that all came to an abrupt end yesterday. Sometime in the early afternoon, we were told that they closed the books out every Saturday and we needed to pay our bill before the end of the day, just one of a string of BS lines that I completely don't believe, a day before we were to leave. So before I went to the office to pay I checked the website to verify the price of the room so that I knew approximately what I was going to be charged. BUT when I got in there I was charged around $50 more than I expected. Mind you we had already been told that the reason there were no BBQ grills on the decks any longer is because the insurance wouldn't pay if the place burned down and they had provided the grills, but if the guests brought their own it was ok. WHAT?!?!?!?! The next one was that we should have seen the pool 2 hours before we got there because "it was pea green". Speaking of the pool, you can see in the pictures below, what we had to deal with all week. It was not cleaned 1 single time after we got there on July 1 and still hadn't been cleaned when we left on July 9th. So an argument began regarding payment and I refused to pay anymore than what was stated on the website for the room. She continually told me that the website had been updated to which I replied, "I will bring it up and show you right now on my phone". Her reply about the dirty pool was, "You were in the pool everyday. Why didn't you tell us". "BECAUSE IT IS NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY TO TELL YOU TO CLEAN YOUR OWN POOL!!!!! I DON'T OWN THIS RESORT YOU DO!!" The argument with her ended with her stomping off into her house and telling me we were no longer welcome at Rainbow Haven Resort and Marina. I CANNOT abide liars and underhandedness and those 2 people are the epitomy of both words. The pictures below show just how bad the pool area was and the boat dock was such a joke that it took 2 people to get our boat out because you had to be a gymnast to maneuver around the kayak that was laying on the walkway obstructing it. The last straw was that they sat on their deck the entire time watching us AND called in some kind of "security wanna be's" to hang out while we were leaving. I really take offense to someone with guns on their belt hanging around while we had our grandsons with us and were only packing our stuff and leaving. I would caution EVERYONE to stay as far away from this place as possible and if you have made a deposit for a stay in the future, be prepared to not have it returned because the place is going on the market in October and at the price they are going to ask will not likely ever sell and they will wind up giving it back to the bank. They may be able to convince others that their lies are true, but I have learned quite a few things in my 50+ years and dealt with better liars and cheats than they have ever thought about being. PLUS, I have ran that resort for a couple of weeks at a time for more times that I can count and know how much work it takes to run it. But I did fine and did my full time job to boot!! It was the people that you came into contact everyday that made me go back again and again, whenever asked. I totally enjoyed it. So our Rainbow Haven days have come to an end but next year will bring a grand adventure that will create new memories!!!!

We had a wonderful evening aboard the Silver Dollar City Showboat. We upgraded to Captain's Club…read moretickets, and it made all the difference. From where we started at the White River Landing, everything was smooth and well organized. The landing itself is charming, especially in the evening with string lights and a couple of shops designed to match the showboat's vintage aesthetic. There was a dedicated priority boarding line for Captain's Club guests that started on time and before general admission, so we avoided any wait. Staff efficiently guided us through boarding (complete with photo opportunity with an option to purchase later) and to our seats in the dining area. The dining experience was outstanding thanks to our attentive server and other dining staff. With Captain's Club, we enjoyed a menu to choose from, were served ahead of the general admission guests, and the food arrived quickly. During dinner, the show with the Rivertown Ramblers was energetic, also well-organized, and highly entertaining. The talented vocalists and musicians delivered a fantastic performance. The combination of the scenic cruise, great food, priority service, and live entertainment made for a memorable evening and one of the highlights of our Branson trip. I highly recommend the Showboat to anyone visiting and definitely upgrade to Captain's Club if you can.

This is the best RV park in Branson! It's so peaceful during my walks around the park and so safe. The views are wonderful, having the lake on one side and the strip on the other. Our stay here at the Pea Patch has been one of the best. Absolutely peaceful. As far as we are concerned, there is no other campground in Branson. Don't forget to ride their "Ballknocker"
