I am local and I had a really good experience here. The price was perfect and easily accessible. Only complaint would be that it's hard to get ahold of any one in person or on the phone as there is only 1 person working there and she isn't not on property all day. I had them for a year and a half and loved the clean area and was always plowed in the winter. Would recommend for sure. read more

By far my easiest experience renting from a mini storage. The manager was super helpful and their kiosk system made it 10x easier to pay. Been renting for 2 years now from them, super reasonable prices and friendly employees. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Kittitas county. read more

Nope! Upon paying my initial payment through the Kiosk I was unable to enter the premises as my gate code did not work. I tried calling the number listed, left multiple voice mails but did not hear back for approximately two hours. I had been on the road 12 hours at that point, and desperately wanted to get my stuff unloaded and head back home...another two + hrs. I followed another renter in, unloaded my items and then...VIOLA!...you need a gate code to get back out! Still had not heard from anyone, so I called the back line of Ellensburg Police Dept. explaining I was locked in the yard. FINALLY someone contacted me, right as the police were showing up. Then I was accidentally late on a payment...I called and paid over the phone immediately. A week or so later I stopped by to get a few things, their lock (put on when you don't pay) was still on my unit. No one was there, no one answered the phone. I left a vm. Remember, I lived in Seattle at this point, not a short drive mind you. More recently I tried to pay at the Kiosk when passing through, my security code did not work. They apparently have old contact info listed (although I had sent a text updating it). Contact is partially used as security here. I sent an email instead of a text requesting update. I called April 8th requesting to pay over the phone...(you have 10 days grace)...no answer, lvm. As of the 9th my payment had still not gone through my bank so I called and left another voice mail asking if I could pay in cash on the 11th. On the 10th Jana (manager) called, asked how she could help me. She apparently does not listen to her vm's. I asked if it would be ok to pay on the 11th as payment had not been debited yet (she gave me the distinct impression she had not listened to my first voice mail) and she said that would be fine. There was no mention of any late fee being added to my account. Sooo, yesterday I drove from Seattle to Ellensburg in need of some important items out of my unit. Hey! Guess what? Still can't pay at the Kiosk! Code is STILL wrong. So now I am being charged a $10 late fee and denied access to my unit. I called and left yet another voice mail during NORMAL business hours on the 11th and as of today, the 12th at 2:20 pm I have not heard a thing back. I also resent my email dated February 5th asking for an update on my contact info on the 11th. It's still not correct! The units are nice, open and seem to be safe. Customer service is absolutely horrible, and the hours listed on the recording are NOT when they are available. If you have the patience of Job and live close by this may work for you, but otherwise....BEWARE!!! read more

After having rented for quite sometime (well over a year), I would not recommend and will not use again. Like the previous poster, I've had trouble getting in contact when needed. I had called on the 11th and asked the manager (Jana) to waive my late fee and run my card on file for my account (I get paid on the 10th and the 10th was a Sunday). She said she would and she would call me back regarding the late fee. I never heard back from her so I assumed she had just waived it and ran my card. I emailed notice to vacate on the 20th, her immediate response was if I was aware of the balance on the account, which included a late fee. I responded with the information about talking with her on the 11th. She writes back and says I've been late at least three times before so she would not waive it and how would I like to pay my balance. Yes, I have been late before; however, I've always paid my late fee and I never asked for any of them to be waived. I paid my account and asked that the lock on my unit be removed the same day. Her response was that she would have the lock removed during the scheduled unit inventory, but failed to mention when that would be. I have emailed back asking when that was, as it would be helpful to know and i have not yet received a response. It appears that they are helpful until you no longer intend to rent one of their units. read more
