Different from other parking lots. It was confusing at first. BUT, there is a LACK of transport vans. There was no line for the city economy busses (which I will take next time) and a LONG line for Airport Security Parking. It was terrible to see two busses for the cut lot, while we waited so long for vans for this lot. I felt sorry for the van drivers who weee hustling & had worried looks. We learned there were only TWO vans! The line continued to grow. Drive up to a kiosk and they unload your luggage for you. One passenger stays with the luggage while you follow a van to your parking space. Then, the van takes you back to where your travel partner & luggage waits. Then board the transport van for the airport. There is an electrical fence to deter THIEVES, which an employee related they had trouble with. read more

This a locally owned business. The location entrance wasn't the easiest for us to find, but if you pound the address into your mapping program., it will drive you right there. The employees were really friendly, and the rates were lower than the city economy lot. But, what a mess when returning. We waited in a very long line at the airport with only a few transfer vans working. This puzzled me, as there were much more vans at the competition's Economy Lot, with no lines. Then when we bunched up at the lot to go to our cars after being picked up, a sign stated to wait in a certain area. We did that. No transports came and my husband had to walk through the lot searching for our car. Come on, that's poor service. But, the employee was pleasant at the booth taking our money. It seemed to take so long due to a nerve-wrecking process. A logistics expert or consultant needs to look at this. read more

I love reading 1- and 2-star ratings--whine, whine, whine, kvetch, kvetch, kvetch. They mostly are, to quote the Bard, ". . . full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." And I found this to be the case with Airport Security Parking. All, save one from 2023 and one from 2022, are years old. Several complained about hidden "airport access fees" and you don't know about them until you check out. Well, not so--they are referenced in several locations on their website and if you want to know how much, just ask. So, despite the warnings by these prophets of doom, I decided to give Airport Security Parking a shot. I arrived about 6:00am on September 27, 2023 and was greeted courteously. After asking what type of parking I wished (covered, please), the attendant took down my car license plate and asked how long I'd be parked there. She then gave me directions to my space, #377--far away. As with most places, I was prepared to hoof it back to the shuttle pick-up point. Then she spoke the magic words, "I'll send a car for you." A few minutes after parking, the car pulled up, the gentleman unloaded my luggage from my car and into his. "Want to take a quick look to be sure you didn't forget anything," he asked. Thank you! We arrived at the shuttle, my luggage was moved between vehicles and off we went. At the airport, they were unloaded and the driver told me where my check-in desk would be. Again, a small thing, but to me who hasn't flown commercially since 1992, it meant a lot. I returned at 11:00pm on October 4, 2023. After collecting my luggage, I looked for the pick-up point. I spotted it and was about to pull out my phone to call when a van drove up. Again, my luggage was handled for me. After I and another passenger boarded the shuttle, we pulled away. I was expecting having to wait for up to a half an hour as I've experienced in other places. My wait was only five minutes. After arriving at the parking lot, my luggage was unloaded and placed near the cashier. Immediately, a car appeared to take us to our parking spaces. When we arrived, I asked the driver if he could spare me a minute to insure my car started before he drove away. "Don't worry sir, I won't leave you stranded," he said. The car fired up and I drove back to the cashier where my luggage was loaded and I was on my way back to the Great Metropolis of Kerrville. My total bill, including taxes and the airport access fee, came to $93.81. For a week's covered and secured parking and white glove service throughout, I consider it a bargain. Similar parking, time and services for the Port of Galveston, for example, now run $195.60. If you want the best of the best, then the answer is simple: Airport Security Parking. read more

On the day after Christmas, I had an appointment in an office in the airport. I checked the airport website and saw there were parking spaces available. After 50 minutes of searching, I realized that the website had lied. As I was leaving the last airport option, I saw a shuttle bus with the sign "Follow me to Security Parking" on the back and that's exactly what I did. The team at Security parking was fantastic! They found me a parking space and got me to my appointment ONE minute early! In spite of the fact that I was not the only person stressing over airport parking, everyone here was patient, friendly and helpful. I will be back when I am just flying out. read more

Lines to drop off were ridiculously long. 25 minutes. Almost missed flight. And when I checkout out after my 30 days, they charged me the daily rates versus the monthly. I had called and selected them because of the monthly rate and they refused to honor it claiming that you have to sign up for it. IDIOTS !! Absolutely foolishness !! I called to tell them I was at the airport. They told me to be in front of B10. I watched the driver pull up to B11, he didn't even wait for me to get there, takes a pic and drives away. I called back and they said their drivers don't do that. The second driver came. He started road ranging another car. I reported it and said "y'all have communication problems!" Instead of taking me seriously, he shrugs his shoulders and says "yes we do!" Good place to park, hard working enjoyable people to deal with. Unfortunately one jerk ruins experience. If you have to deal with the guy that has a bad arm he is absolutely a stain on this company. Very rude person he has no business being in any customer service role or customer contact. If it wasn't enough dealing with him for the first time at departure I was unlucky to see him and his bad attitude picking up my vehicle. I bit my lip during this interaction but should have requested his supervisor, not fair for such hard working folks to have one person tarnish the entire company image. We have been using ASP going on four years. Although it is convenient to park there, I like the covered parking, the shuttle bus run often and the staff is great, what happened during this trip just amazed me. We were gone for six days, during those six days we had a storm come in and we heard that in rained heavily in the area for three plus hours. When I walked to my truck I saw blue sticky plastic on my drivers and passenger windows. My first thought was, my truck got broken into and the ASP covered up my windows. No, that wasn't it, I forgot to close my windows and ASP noticed it and covered them for me, my truck was just like I left it, nothing missing and the windows down, yet covered up, no water damage. I stopped in to the managers office to thank them, that really could have been a disaster. Thank you ASP!! read more

Used Airport Security a couple of times with good success, but not on this trip. Got there for very early departure and had to wait 30 minutes for can to airport. Made me nervous about making my flight. Same thing happened on return/arrival. Stood in hot sun by baggage claim for thirty minutes waiting for van. . When I got to my car, the battery was dead, so I called the office to see if they would jump the car. I was explaining the dead battery and the guy rudely interrupted me, telling me to get to the point. When he asked me where the car was I said, "Stall 753." Raising his voice, he said, "We don't have a twelve-seven-five-three!" "No, stall 753." "What?" "753!" He said someone would be right over, but it was 20 minutes standing in the heat. Don't think I will used Airport Security or recommend it to people due to slow pick up/drop off and rudeness to customers. read more

I have parked here about 6-7 times per year for the last 10 years. I have never had a problem regardless of time. You arrive, unload your luggage, park and then get shuttle to the airport. At the most, it takes 10 minutes. They are pretty quick at taking off from their lot to the airport. You have the option of uncovered, covered and VIP parking. All different prices, but affordable. Those of you that travel by air and must leave your car in for overnight parking, stop paying high $$ to park at the airport long term parking!! Y'all! The lot is secure and covered and the best part, When you park your car close to the shuttle stop you're getting car to curb service and curb to car service when you return which means no long walks to and from your car and waiting a long time for that airport shuttle! Potential customers should be aware that this place is a lot like other places which pass unnecessary fees on to customers. There is a fee of $11.90 for each visit, dubbed an "airport access fee", tacked on to the end of the overall parking prices. The amount of this fee is never disclosed until you get to the cashier, and seems ridiculous. The company doesn't provide any special access to private areas of the airport, and uses public roads to get to the terminal. Having to pay an extra day's worth of parking in the form of some egregious fee is terrible. Won't be using this place again for airport parking. read more

I'm writing this review at 4:40am, having had a delayed flight out me in at 4am instead of 10pm the previous night. My 7 and 3 year old are on an hour of sleep and are in a foul mood. We face a drive back to Austin. I called for a pickup 30 minutes ago and have seen 4 on-site shuttles go by. The dispatcher said a driver should have been here 20 minutes ago. I called back again and the dispatcher mumbled something about picking me up himself. Still haven't seen anyone. Never again. read more

I've used Airport Security Parking over a half-dozen times this year and have not had a single issue. I've read the negative reviews and fortunately have not had any of those issues. ASP offers uncovered, covered, and VIP parking. I usually go with the covered parking for $8.95 a day. Look on their website for coupons e.g. pay for 4 days get the 5th day free. ASP has always been very eager to drive me to my car even when it's just a few rows away. If you're in the lot across the road, they'll escort you to your space and give you a ride back. They have at least two shuttles running all the time except overnight, I think (in which case you just need to call). The longest I have ever waited was about 10 minutes for a pick-up. Usually, I have virtually no wait getting to the terminal and only a slight wait for the pick-up. There aren't many options when it comes to off-airport parking. In fact, this is the only option I'm aware of. I think they do a great job. The reason for giving 4 stars, not 5, is cost. Looking online, almost all airports offer cheaper off-airport parking options, even for covered. read more
