I had a long layover in London and needed to get to Gatwick airport for my next flight. In between I decided I wanted to see some sights get some fish and chips and then get dropped off at Gatwick. Howard (the owner) was able to accommodate me and my guest without a problem. He got me a quote quickly and let me know a driver would be waiting for me at the airport. Alf came to pick us up in an immaculate S 550 sedan. He gave us a great tour of some of the sights in the city, and had great historical facts and stories to go along with every sight. His passion for the city really brought the trip to life. This layover could have easily been wasted time, but thanks to Alf and Howard it started our trip off perfectly! I was highly impressed with the car, not so impressed with my date at the end of the night but that's another story. Karma Kars are an exciting, fun and colorful way to cruse through the city. Their guiding philosophy is based on the Taoist belief that the 'journey is more important than the arrival' The car that I had the pleasure to travel in was called the 'Ab Fab Kab' which had a gold glitter interior, pink exterior with flowers and hypnotic Indian music on the radio adds to the whole experience of total bliss. The also do wedding cars which have a white interior. If you want to add a special touch to an evening I would highly recommend it. In fact I cant even remember what I had for dinner that night which proves that the journey really is more important than the destination.

I have emails, the original quote and response, phone calls, etc, but it didn't matter because they sent a confirmation leter stating the incorrect times, and that is all they go by. We elected to go straight home instead (after only 2.5 hours) after being yelled at and hung up on by the manager, and I will pursue other methods to receive retribution for this annoying day. Do not use this company - they are irrational, inflexible and there are a million other companies to choose from in this capacity. It is also their company policy to collect a full cash payment prior to use, which makes for no leverage if you do encounter a problem. On a total side note, the limo (while a nice bright pink) was quite tired on the inside with worn leather seats, dirty windows (which still had messages written by someone's hand from the outside on them), no ice in the ice buckets, a broken dvd player and partition controls, and a musky smell as if it had not been cleaned from the evening prior. The saving grace of the day was the friendly and professional driver who I was told does not even work for this company normally.

On the day of the prom I got a call at 11AM to tell me that my booking had been cancelled as the Limo had broken several days earlier and was still in repair down in Southampton. Mason (who I spoke to) was very sincere and apologetic and sounded genuinely sorry. They refunded my deposit very quickly. Although I can only give them a low rating as my booking was cancelled and I received no limo, I feel that they are actually a good limo company - I was just unlucky...
