I came to Airrosti with pain in my right hip, occasionally radiating down my leg into my foot. Certain exercises were painful, range of motion was limited and it was interrupting my sleep. I was having to reposition to change the pressure. I am getting older and thought maybe arthritis or I need a hip replacement, possibly I pinched a nerve. Surgery is a last resort in my book. After dealing with it a few months, I decided to give this a go. Man, am I glad I did. Dr. Matthys said they can usually solve things in 3-4 visits. I thought that interesting....not having to come back for maintenance? He reassessed at the beginning of each session and treated accordingly. After the 4th visit, the pain was gone. He and staff made me feel comfortable and taught me proper stretching and foam rolling techniques that I continue to do. My range of motion is back to normal. My daughter was seen by Dr. Matthys two years ago to treat a rotar cuff that was inflamed from competive swimming. The rehab was quick and very effective. Dr. Morris is the best! I have seen her for several different issues over the years and my husband and son have too. Whenever we go to see her we know we're going to find the relief we need. She's treated plantar fasciitis, thigh pain, hip pain, back spasms, as well as my son's shin splints(so we thought), and more. We took my son to a run specialist where they recorded his gait, etc and worked with him a couple times. Unfortunately it only made him worse, so then we went to Dr. Morris. She found the problem right away with testing him, and it wasn't shin splints. Had him up and running track again in no time. I'm a big believer in the Airrosti approach. Dr. Matthys & Lauren are friendly & methodical, taking plenty of time to listen to your explanation of what you're experiencing. Between the treatments with the Dr. and the stretching/icing at home, I like that we're addressing the root problem, not just treating the symptoms. I had ongoing irritation in my right hip area for 3 months which turned out to be related to tight IT band that had inflamed a bursa sac in that area. By working out the IT band we eliminated the original culprit. With icing and rest, light stretching, we gave the Bursa time to calm down and the problem is now almost entirely resolved. read more

Dr. Matthys and Lauren are awesome. After having an arthroscopic knee surgery almost a year after an injury, I was still having quite a bit of swelling that caused discomfort. After just 3 visits, I'm feeling so much better. My leg is getting stronger and the swelling is greatly reduced. I've been dealing with headaches for about the last 15 years. Pain meds don't help, and the headaches typically last 2-3 days. My dentist recommended Airrosti since we had pretty much tried everything (dental work, mouth guards, TENS units, etc). I pulled my back in a body pump class. The pain, tightness and limited range of motion got worse by the day. Nine days after my injury, I called and got in with Dr. Matthys. Only disappointment was medicare does not pay for the treatments. I had 3 treatments and did the at home exercise. I feel 85% better and will continue with the exercise. The doctor was very nice and answered all my questions. The therapist was very friendly and guided me through the exercises and sent me the exercise program via email.
